Chapter 413 Younger Brothers Are Hard to Coax (6)

Was it made especially for him?

What exactly does she want to do?

Jiang Ye didn't want to eat it.

He pulled the blanket up, intending to cover his head and escape all this irritation, when his cell phone, which was on the bedside table, rang.

He picked it up, glanced at it, and saw it was an unfamiliar number. He didn't answer and hung up.

The phone rang again.

He thought the other party had something urgent to say, and as soon as he answered the call, he heard a familiar voice on the other end, "It's me."

It is Nan Zhi.

Jiang Ye frowned. "How did you get my phone number?"

A girl's playful voice came from the other end, "I calculated it using a formula, isn't that amazing?"

Nanzhi visibly became distressed.

I know it's what you meant; all the dishes you picked for me are my favorites.

Knowing that Ono had eaten obediently, Nanzhi was quite satisfied.

Ono's ears burned with embarrassment, and he quickly hung up the phone.

"Oh." The girl's voice suddenly sounded a little disappointed. "Then I won't deliver it to you next time."

I lived at school during junior high, and as you know, during holidays I rarely walked home by myself.

During the meal, Nanzhi put a few bad dishes on Xin Fan's plate, saying, "Here, eat less."

I squinted and hung up.

I responded with a bad temper, "Bad."

"Oh no, he's going to eat something naughty, okay, sweetie..."

Why is this the case?

Ono instinctively wanted to agree, but when he looked into Nanzhi's bright eyes, the image of her looking disappointed flashed through his mind, and he agreed from the bottom of his heart.

This woman isn't here yet. She seems very mean to me on the surface, but in reality…

Ono was originally scheduled to stay in the hospital for only one or two days and could not be discharged.

Ono hit me, and I looked at the message Jiang's mother sent at 5 PM last night, which was lying outside my phone.

Even Jiang's mother called to say she had time to see me and that I could stay in the hospital for a shorter period.

Are the kids on holiday?

Nan Zhi: [Xiao Ye, you peeked at him skating, he was so cool! When you get out of the hospital, he'll teach you how to skate, is that naughty or not?]

Just then, a phone call came in.

Hearing her voice, Jiang Ye suddenly felt a little uncomfortable, and his tone softened unconsciously, "Don't put cilantro in it next time, I don't like it."

He said curtly, "I won't eat it."

[Da Ye, his uncle's contract has run into some problems, and Mom hasn't finished dealing with them yet, so she can come back to take care of him. He's being naughty and running around in the hospital.]

Nan's mother, who thought Xin Fan would agree to let Nan Zhi serve her food, was shocked once again when she saw Xiao Ye eating obediently.

Why aren't you eating?

Even though I can clearly see your expression, the image of you with droopy eyelids and no light in your eyes still involuntarily appears in my mind.

"Ono, are you thirsty? He'll get you a glass of water."

"Ohno is here."

He was stunned after he finished speaking.

He countered, "Why should we eat?"

Before Xin Fan finished her IV drip of anti-inflammatory medicine, she took care of cleaning up the broken dishes and utensils, washing them before taking them to the neighbor's.

Nam Gyi's injuries require her to stay in the hospital for up to a week.

"Boring." Jiang Ye didn't want to know how she knew, and was about to hang up when he heard her ask, "Have you eaten yet?"

Jiang's mother said she would find a caregiver for Xiao Ye, but by 7 a.m., no caregiver had come, and Jiang's mother hadn't even made a single phone call, as if she had completely forgotten about me.

"I've got it."

"It's almost lunchtime, so is it bad for him to eat with you guys outside?"

But after lying there for a while, all I could hear in my mind was Nan Zhi's dejected voice.

What exactly do you want to do?

Jiang Ye glanced at the still steaming food on the table, and for some reason, he wasn't so irritable anymore. "I haven't eaten."

First, I got up, scooped up a bowl of rice, and only then did the strange feeling in my heart disappear.

Nan's father had gone back to the company without further business, but Nan's mother was not with Nan Zhi. When she saw me coming, she greeted me with a smile.

The boy gave a wry smile. "Oh no, you remembered that. There aren't any dietary restrictions either. I've told you all of them."

Ono stared at those few lines of text, the razor blade slipping from his hand, and remained silent for a long time.

Ono said calmly, "You are."

Nan Mu:? ?

From college to middle school, you were always the first one to arrive at parent-teacher conferences. Sometimes you wouldn't even show up, or a relative would come instead.

"You left the things there."

Seeing Nan Zhi ordering Xiao Ye around so naturally, Nan's mother quickly said, "Zhi Zhi, he can just tell me if he's thirsty. Da Ye is still injured, why is he asking me for help?"

Ono placed the bowls and chopsticks under the table in the middle, glanced at Nanzhi under the hospital bed, and turned to leave, but was called back as expected.

Ono understands how our relationship turned out that way, but the words have already been spoken and cannot be taken back.

I guess my agreement to eat out was just a pretext. If Nanzhi keeps ordering me around like that, I'm afraid I'll get angry.

Ono did reply, and I hurriedly looked up at the window.

But Jiang's mother didn't have time to pick me up from the hospital, and even the caregiver was only found on the morning of the seventh day.

There was a strange sense of comfort about it.

Oh. I gave this to him last time.

good?

This utterly pointless answer left Jiang Ye speechless for a moment.

Ah, yes, what happened?

Am I sick? Why would I tell you all that?

The sunlight was dim, the grass and trees were lush, and the weather seemed quite right today. The violence in my heart was being calmed down little by little.

I've already told you what to do with it. Did you always bring me food before?
