Nanzhi raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face, silencing the laughter.
She hit the girl who was talking to her at the front, without holding back at all.
Soon, five clear handprints appeared on the girl's face. She covered her face and screamed, "Aaaaaah, you bitch, how dare you hit me?"
Nan Zhi smiled gently and slapped her again.
The girl went completely berserk. She stomped her feet and yelled at her henchmen, "Beat this bitch to death!"
Chaos reigned.
Screams erupted one after another.
The vampire knights guarding the southern branch sensed this scene and were about to show themselves to help when Logar stopped them.
"No rush." Logaru appeared out of nowhere and said leisurely, "The Marquis has instructed that as long as she is not in mortal danger, none of you need to show yourselves."
Upon hearing this, the knights had no doubts and disappeared back into the crowd.
Logar watched this scene from afar, a slight smile on his face.
He remembered how much Aleil hated Nanzhi, so he had to take this opportunity to curry favor with Aleil so that he would be valued by Aleil and his status would rise accordingly. He was sure he could even be promoted to a noble title.
Nanzhi is just a human girl. Although she is so mischievous in the castle, it's all because of Clair; no one dares to be disrespectful to her.
Now that she's here, there are four or five girls on the other side. No matter how strong she is, how could she possibly beat them?
Thinking this with such confidence, his gaze suddenly froze the next moment.
At the bathroom window, a little girl stood up, smiled, dusted herself off, and left without a care in the world.
After she left, several girls appeared shakily at the window, their faces and bodies covered in bruises.
Logar: ? ? ?
The white boy and two other boys were waiting outside, expecting to see Nan Zhi come out crying, but to their surprise, Nan Zhi walked out unharmed.
When she saw him, she smiled and asked, "This is the women's restroom. What are you doing here?"
The white boy, Toby, seemed confused for a few seconds after hearing her question.
By the time she realized what was happening, Nanzhi had already walked towards the classroom.
As he watched her retreating figure, he suddenly felt a sense of unease.
Sure enough, when he rushed into the women's restroom, he saw several girls being beaten and howling in pain.
A girl covered her face and complained, "Toby, she's too strong, we can't beat her."
"Don't worry, I will definitely find a chance to avenge you."
Toby was furious. When Nanzhi was walking alone in the garden during the afternoon outdoor activity class, he led a group of people to ambush her.
Toby, hands on his hips, sneered, "Cynthia, go apologize to my people, and I'll let you go today."
Not far away stood the girls who had been beaten by Nanzhi that morning, howling in pain.
Toby brought the fattest and strongest boy in the school this time.
The boy gestured with his fist towards Nanzhi.
Seeing Nanzhi frown, Toby smiled. "Are you scared?"
Nan Zhi smiled slightly and slapped him across the face.
The chubby boy covered his face and fell to the ground.
Toby was shocked.
Nan Zhi walked towards him step by step. Toby was frightened by her strength and kept backing away. His voice was obviously not as imposing as before: "Cynthia, if you hit him, you can't hit me."
"It was just something I did."
Snap!
Toby was slapped down onto the chubby boy.
Nanzhi clapped her hands and walked away gracefully.
Toby covered his face, watching her retreating figure, muttering to himself in confusion, "I must be crazy, why do I still think she's so amazing?"
Normally, anyone who dares to beat up Toby is doomed.
But this afternoon after school, Toby's father came to pick him up and noticed that his face was a little red. He subconsciously asked, "What's wrong with your face?"
Toby was about to say that it was from Nanzhi, but then he remembered something and changed his story: "It was from the sun."
His father squinted: "The sun only shines on one side?"
Toby said, "Yeah, I'm too fair-skinned, I don't really like it, I want to try getting a tan."
His father didn't think much of it, patted his head, and the two got into the car one after the other.
The car that was supposed to pick up Nam Gyi arrived shortly after Toby left.
It was a very low-key car, and many curious students from Nanzhi looked down on it when they saw it.
The driver was a human servant in the castle, and he was the only one who came down to greet Nanzhi.
Looking at the dark car window, Nanzhi assumed that Kled hadn't come. She didn't show any unhappiness and walked towards the car with her little backpack on.
The driver opened the car door for her, and she smiled and said thank you before bending down and getting in.
As soon as I went in, I saw Collad.
He sat in the back passenger seat by the window, looking at her with a calm expression.
The driver closed the car door, and his expression was mostly hidden in the darkness, making it difficult to see clearly.
However, his voice remained as calm as ever, "Are you getting used to school?"
Nanzhi was happy that he came to pick her up. She subconsciously leaned over and wanted to hug his arm, but then her eyes dimmed as she thought of something.
She obediently sat by the window, one seat away from him, "It's a habit."
Having observed the girl's every move, Kled lowered his eyes and said, "You'll get used to it. Have you encountered anything new or interesting?"
Nanzhi shook her head.
What did the teacher teach you today?
Nanzhi thought for a moment: "In the morning, the teacher taught a Chinese class and asked me to introduce myself. In the afternoon, we had an outdoor activity class where we formed our own teams to play."
Collider listened patiently: "How did you introduce yourself?"
Nan Zhi dutifully repeated her self-introduction from the morning, then smiled and told Claire, "Brother, don't worry, I've been very obedient and haven't told anyone your identities."
Corde was fairly satisfied with her obedient demeanor.
Having lived in isolation for so many years, he had no idea how much discrimination there was against Chinese people in today's society.
"Did you find teammates for the team this afternoon?"
“No.” Nan Zhi said with some annoyance, “They all have their own friends, and no one pays attention to me.”
Craig patted her head. "It's okay. You're new here, so they don't know you very well yet. You'll get used to it in a couple of days."
Nan Zhi nodded, but she didn't seem as happy as before when he touched her, nor did she rub her hand against his.
This change had been going on for several days, and Claire's eyes darkened for a moment, but she quickly came to terms with it.
She may still be complaining about him sending her to school.
It's alright. Soon, she'll get to know people her own age, and then she might not want to stay in the castle anymore.
After getting off the bus, Claire was about to take her handbag when she saw her excitedly running towards Alaire with her backpack on.
"Brother Alair, guess what happened to me at school today?"
Kled's expression froze.
