The blue robe was even the same color as Nanzhi's, and the two of them standing together looked like cultivation partners.
But Nanzhi couldn't see it at all.
When he heard that Shi Yuan wanted to ask him a question, he went with him without hesitation.
Qian Che: ?◥?◤?
Nan Zhi went to Shi Yuan's room, sat down in a chair by the window, and asked him, "What don't you understand?"
Shi Yuan took out Nan Zhi's book of talismans and casually opened one of the talismans.
"It's this immobilization charm that I just can't seem to draw."
Nan Zhi glanced at it: "The immobilization talisman is a bit complicated, but it's okay, I'll teach you."
Nanzhi picked up a brush from the side, dipped it in ink, and slowly drew the immobilization talisman on the paper, stroke by stroke.
"Draw it like this, and try it once."
Shi Yuan took the brush from her hand and copied it onto the paper.
But he always drew it wrong.
He sighed in frustration, "Master, I'm so stupid, I can't do it at all."
Nanzhi encouraged him: "You'll get it after drawing it a few more times. No one is born knowing how."
Shi Yuan drew it several more times, but still made mistakes.
He looked very disappointed, as if he was about to give up.
Nanzhi softened her heart and took his hand, enveloping it in her palm, and personally taught him how to draw.
Shi Yuan looked at the soft little hand on the back of his hand, his mind far from drawing talismans; he had been staring at her for a long time.
His gaze swept over her delicate eyebrows, past her pert nose, and lingered on her pink and rosy lips...
His pupils darkened slightly, and his breathing became inexplicably tighter as if he were thinking of something.
"Shi Yuan, what are you thinking about? Are you even listening?"
Shi Yuan snapped out of his reverie and nodded nonchalantly: "Master, I was wondering, can this immobilization talisman immobilize you?"
"Of course, it is possible if I am not prepared."
As soon as Nan Zhi finished speaking, she saw Shi Yuan draw a talisman in the air. The talisman landed on her unexpectedly and froze her in place.
Nan Zhi stared at Shi Yuan without moving.
"Master, I succeeded."
Shi Yuan was initially delighted, but then, as if remembering something, he frowned.
"Master, what should I do? I don't know how to solve it."
Nanzhi pursed her lips and just looked at him, unable to move or speak.
Shi Yuan asked anxiously, "Master, what should I do now?"
He flipped through the rune book but couldn't find a solution, so he came to her for help again.
But Nan Zhi remained motionless.
He then tried to take her hand so that she could teach him again.
"Master, can you move your hand?"
He parted her fingers and held them in his palm, drawing a talisman.
After his failure, he looked at her with a mixture of guilt and pity in his eyes.
"Master, don't you get tired standing like this?"
Nanzhi did not answer.
"Shall I carry you to bed so you can rest?"
Nanzhi still did not answer.
Your silence is an admission.
As he spoke, he swept her up in his arms and carried her toward his bed.
She was lighter and softer than I had imagined, like a ball of cotton.
Where she couldn't see, his smile was radiant.
He carefully placed her on the bed and covered her with a blanket.
"Master, are your hands sore? Let me massage them for you."
As he spoke, he took Nanzhi's hand and began to massage her fingers little by little.
His touch was very light, and when his eyelids drooped slightly, he looked exceptionally gentle, making Nanzhi involuntarily lose herself in a daze.
After massaging her arms, he then helped massage her legs.
When Nanzhi was receiving the massage, she didn't feel much except for comfort.
But the moment his hand touched her leg, Nanzhi almost went limp.
Her breathing became a little erratic.
Shi Yuan seemed oblivious, massaging her feet upwards from her ankles.
His focused expression made it seem as if he was truly only concerned with massaging her.
Nanzhi simply couldn't take it anymore.
A moment later, she released herself from the immobilization spell.
Shi Yuan looked at her and saw that she could move again, a hint of disappointment flashing across his face.
But soon he happily said, "Master, that's great! You can finally move again."
Nanzhi stared at him, her expression somewhat unusual.
Shi Yuan then realized something, pursed his lips, and stepped aside: "Master, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I was just afraid you would feel uncomfortable."
With its droopy eyes, it really looked like a pitiful big dog.
Nan Zhi was in a state of utter confusion.
She said in a deliberately serious tone, "Don't use these talismans on me casually again in the future."
After saying that, she didn't dare look at him and quickly got up and left.
Shi Yuan looked at her bright red earlobes, and a pleased smile appeared on his lips.
Master, how much longer can you endure this?
Nanzhi returned to Kunyu Palace and closed the palace door tightly.
She leaned against the door, feeling her breathing quicken and her heart pounding.
Why is she acting more and more strangely?
He patted his cheeks, suppressing the bad thoughts in his mind, walked to the bedside, sat cross-legged, and continued to recite the Mind-Clearing Mantra.
However, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't concentrate on reading it.
The next day, Shi Yuan came to Kunyu Palace to ask Nan Zhi for advice, but the maid said, "Master is not in Kunyu Palace."
Where did she go?
The maid shook her head.
Shi Yuan clearly sensed Nan Zhi's presence.
She's inside.
Is she afraid to see him?
He took one last deep look at the palace gate before turning and leaving.
Knowing that he had left, Nanzhi pushed open the palace door with a guilty conscience.
She's been acting really strange lately; I guess I'll have to avoid Shi Yuan a bit.
Long after Shi Yuan left, she finally left Kunyu Palace to investigate the Tianxiang Sect's sneak attack with Qian Che.
