As soon as Song Jiao opened her eyes, she felt a chilly wind blowing past, a seemingly ominous omen. She sat on the throne of the Demon King's Castle, her long black dress a stark contrast to the dull stone walls around her. The windows of the throne room were open, letting in moonlight, adding a touch of mystery to the chilly space.
Suddenly, a bat flew into the room and landed in front of the window. It flapped its wings, making a soft, snapping sound. Then, a deep voice rang out from the bat's mouth: "Queen, Elsie has returned to the angelic realm. Are we really going to let her go like this?"
The man's voice was filled with confusion and bewilderment. In the demonic realm, angels and demon kings were incompatible. Yet, their queen had allowed an angel to escape unharmed, leaving him deeply perplexed.
Song Jiao leaned lazily on the throne, her eyes indifferent, as if she didn't care about anything. She glanced at the bat and said in an icy voice: "What do you want to do?"
The bat's wings trembled slightly, and the man seemed to hesitate, but still said stubbornly, "In my opinion, he should have been killed directly and not allowed to return to the heavens. Besides, many people are talking about it now, saying that the Queen took a fancy to him, so she let him go."
Hearing this, a cold light flashed in Song Jiao's eyes. She raised her eyes slightly, and a huge energy flew over. The energy, with destructive force, instantly hit the castle wall.
With a resounding "boom," a massive hole was blasted into the castle. Smoke and dust filled the air, and debris scatters everywhere. The entire Demon King's Castle trembled under this force.
Song Jiao slowly stood up, her voice echoing in the empty throne room: "When did I need to rely on others to tell me what to do? Or are you dissatisfied with my decision?"
