Chapter 738: The Longevity Monsters Are Seeking Death (2)

Song Jiao clenched her fists, with a hint of nervousness and curiosity in her eyes, and walked cautiously towards the southeast corner.

The ground beneath her feet seemed to be filled with a chill, causing her to shiver involuntarily.

Finally, she found a slightly upturned brick. She gently bent it with her fingers, and a red cloth bag came into view. Inside was a small piece of yellowed bone, emitting a strange glow.

"Ah!" Song Jiao exclaimed and quickly took a few steps back.

Li's mother rushed over after hearing the noise, her face full of anxiety. When she saw the red cloth bag, her eyes froze instantly and her breathing became rapid.

"Dad, you...come here and take a look at what this is?" Her voice was trembling and she was almost crying.

Hearing the voice, Father Li turned around and walked over with big strides.

He glanced at the red cloth bag, his expression suddenly changing as if he'd been bitten by something. He flung his hand away, throwing the horrible thing away. "Throw it away! This belongs to a dead person. Don't even touch it!"

He roared, his face full of fear and anger.

Only at this moment did Mr. Li truly realize the seriousness of the matter. It was clear that someone was secretly targeting their family.

He looked around, a cold glint in his eyes.

Seeing this, Mother Li quickly hugged Song Jiao tightly in her arms and said in a trembling voice, "Yan Yan, you should stay in your room now and don't come out. Mom will take care of everything."

After saying that, she turned and hurried away, holding the strange red cloth bag in her hand, to seek help from Grandma Ma in the village.

Song Jiao sat in the dim room, her heart beating like a drum.

She looked at the original owner's brother, whose nose was still dripping with snot bubbles, and inexplicably wanted to laugh.

She took a deep breath and gently turned on the system screen.

The screen was pitch black, but gradually, coffins began to appear, shrouding the entire village in a breath of death. She could sense something stirring in the shadows, and it gave her a chill.

"Tuanzi, what kind of world is this?" Song Jiao asked the system in a puzzled voice.

However, all she got in response was a series of crackling sounds of electricity, as if some force was blocking her connection with the system.

"Even the system has been isolated?" Song Jiao was secretly shocked, and a hint of determination flashed in her eyes.

She suddenly pushed open the window, her eyes flashing with determination and wisdom, and she quickly formed seals with her hands, using the metaphysical knowledge she had accumulated from traveling through countless worlds to accurately calculate the direction.

Then, she stretched out her body, climbed out of the window frame as nimbly as a civet cat, and disappeared into the night.

Along the winding path, there are various dry toilets on the side of the road, and the smell is a bit irritating to the eyes.

Gradually, the surrounding scenery began to blur, and a strange force pulled her into a bizarre and illusory world.

This place is a microcosm of the countless worlds she has set foot in. Those familiar faces, including close friends and enemies from the previous world, came like a tide, instantly filling the entire illusion.

However, the joy of reunion did not last long. The illusion began to tremble because it could not bear such a huge amount of information, and finally collapsed, and everything turned into nothingness.

A wry smile played on her lips, and she muttered to herself, "Did he intend to give me a surprise of 'reuniting with an old friend', but ended up being a farce of 'self-collapse'?"

The illusion dissipated, and the familiar path returned to view. However, on the opposite hillside, a lonely little house suddenly came into view, surrounded by tombs visible to the naked eye, and an eerie atmosphere was overwhelming.

She couldn't help but frown, cursing in her heart: "What kind of good person would build a house in such an unlucky place? Unless it is..."

The sky suddenly darkened. Although it was still afternoon, it seemed as if it was already dusk.

Just then, a gust of cold wind blew, and a female ghost slowly crawled out from the grass by the roadside, and her skinny fingers suddenly grabbed her ankle.

She did not scream, but bent down calmly, pinched the ghost girl's wrist hard, and stared at the maggot-covered, distorted face with a sharp gaze.

The female ghost seemed startled by her reaction, and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.

"Do you think you can scare me like this?" She sneered, her eyes full of disdain. "Disgusting me? You've chosen the wrong person!"

Before she finished her words, she suddenly raised her hand and slapped the ghost girl hard in the face with a loud slap.

The female ghost let out a shrill wail, and her head was slapped away by Song Jiao, rolling down the ridge of the field.

She loosened her grip on Song Jiao's hand, and her headless body crawled blindly on the ground. She fumbled around anxiously and cried out in a sobbing voice, "Where's my head? Where is my head?"

The ghosts around were all terrified when they saw this scene, and their original thoughts of making a move were instantly extinguished.

They all retreated, fearing that they would be the next target to be "pinned to the ground and rubbed".

"Horrible, so terrifying!" a ghost said in a trembling voice, "This girl may look weak, but she's actually extremely ferocious. Even the most powerful ghost sisters among us are no match for her!"

Song Jiao continued along the path. Although there were many ghosts along the way, none of them dared to act rashly.

They either hid behind the shadows of trees or curled up in the grass, secretly looking at the uninvited guest with frightened eyes.

The night wind howled, bringing with it waves of chilling cold. Suddenly, Song Jiao felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

She looked around, her gaze finally landing on the lonely little house in the distance. A thought flashed through her mind like lightning: "This... seems to be where the original owner's grandmother once lived!"

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but quicken her pace.

The outline of the hut gradually became clear like a ghost in the night. The door creaked open slowly, and an agile figure suddenly came into view, as if stepping out from another world.

The figure's hair was as black as ink, and the long braided hair fell to the ankles like a waterfall, swaying gently in the wind.

In the setting sun, although her face looked a little old, it could not hide her heroic spirit.

When Old Lady Li saw Song Jiao, a hint of surprise flashed across her eyes, then quickly transformed into a kind smile. She called out affectionately, "Yan Yan, my dear granddaughter, why did you think of visiting Grandma today?"

As she spoke, she strode towards him with steady and powerful steps, making her look even younger than the original owner's mother.

But when she was about one meter away from Song Jiao, she suddenly stopped and her face suddenly became gloomy. "Aren't you here to see me?"

Because of the flashing golden light on Song Jiao's body, she couldn't get close to her at all, so she had to find other excuses.

"Didn't your mother say she was going to cut off ties with me?"
