Liu Meiniang angrily retorted, "You are actually a spy from the Demon Realm?"
Gao Shijie was also extremely shocked. The Miaoyin Sect disciple who fought monsters with them was actually a spy of the demon race.
"I am originally from the Demon Realm, so how can I be considered a spy?"
Liu Meiniang picked up the whip, "I don't care where you're from, if you dare to stop me, you're asking for death."
With a wave of his hand, the demon disciple caused a bright light to suddenly appear in the previously dark river.
Gao Shijie hurriedly said, "Oh no, we've been ambushed."
No wonder, just now by the river, this spy was acting so convincingly.
It turned out that a demon spy had already set up a formation in the river, waiting for them to enter.
Pei Zhi reached out and scratched her face, feeling as if something was crawling on it.
Pei Zhi woke up with a start, as if she had slapped something with her hand.
Wan Kui gently brushed aside the stray hairs on Pei Zhi's forehead and smiled, "Awake?"
Pei Zhi stared at the demonic cultivator radiating demonic energy before her and asked in confusion, "Who are you?"
"Me?" Wan Kui leaned closer to Pei Zhi. "Guess?"
Pei Zhi feigned confusion, "My companions and I killed a monster at the bottom of the river, and then I lost consciousness."
Pei Zhi feigned surprise, "You must have saved me, right?"
Wan Kui paused slightly, then nodded happily, "Yes, I saved you, so how do you plan to repay me?"
Pei Zhi felt disgusted. This demon in front of her was shameless and actually tried to climb the social ladder.
“My father is the head of the Tianyuan Sect, my master is Zhong Changyuan, and also…” Pei Zhi hurriedly revealed her identity, “My fiancé is Sikong Ren. Whether you take me back to the cultivation world or the demon world, whatever you want, they can give you.”
"Wow!" Wan Kui exclaimed in surprise, "I never expected that you, a young female cultivator, would have such an illustrious background!"
Pei Zhi's raised lips stiffened. This demonic cultivator showed no surprise at all after hearing her self-introduction.
They even joked with her as if it were a joke, which means that the demonic cultivator already knew her identity.
They deliberately abducted her, or perhaps the monster at the bottom of the river was setting a trap from the beginning, waiting for her to fall into it.
Pei Zhi was too lazy to pretend anymore: "Fine, just tell me straight, what do you want to do with me? Threaten the cultivation world, or the demon world?"
Wan Kui squatted down, his gaze icy as he approached Pei Zhi, getting so close they were almost kissing.
Wan Kui gently stroked Pei Zhi's face: "I was very curious about you, so I brought you here."
Pei Zhi listened to the demonic cultivator's words while observing her surroundings. This should be a cave dwelling, and upon closer listening, she could also hear the sound of flowing water.
Pei Zhi braced herself to deal with the demonic cultivator: "Curious? What are you curious about about me?"
"I'm curious, what is it about you that makes Sikong Ren want to marry you?"
Wan Kui's slender fingers parted Pei Zhi's collar, and Pei Zhi dared not move.
Wan Kui casually fiddled with Pei Zhi's clothes, "She's no different from any other woman."
"..."
Otherwise, what else could she possibly have that makes her grow something different from other women?
Wan Kui pinched Pei Zhi's chin, carefully observing her face.
"She has a nice face and pretty eyes. It would be nice to cut her up and make her into a pendant."
Wan Kui pinched Pei Zhi's chin hard again, forcing Pei Zhi to open her mouth.
"The teeth are nice too. We can pry them off and make them into a necklace. That should be quite pretty."
Wan Kui grabbed Pei Zhi's wrist again, "Her hand is quite beautiful. We can cut it off and make musical instruments from the bones."
Pei Zhi listened as the demonic cultivator in front of her commented on her every move and gesture, and even made arrangements for each one.
Pei Zhi eagerly explained, "Are you lacking materials for forging jewelry? Or are you missing any musical instruments? I can find them for you."
Wan Kui was stunned for a moment, seemingly not expecting Pei Zhi to give such an answer.
Pei Zhi wasn't silenced by his words; instead, she was able to bargain with him.
"That's really interesting." Wan Kui reached out and patted Pei Zhi's head, as if petting a small animal.
Pei Zhi… she endured it, without even showing any discomfort.
When people are under the control of demons, they have no choice but to bow their heads.
She couldn't open her storage space, and Pei Zhi couldn't see through the demon's cultivation level.
Clearly, the other party's cultivation level was more than one level higher than hers.
A wise person knows when to yield; her mission is not yet complete, and she cannot die.
"I'm actually a little reluctant to kill her." Wan Kui's fingers traced Pei Zhi's head, then her earlobe, down to her jaw.
Wan Kui's original plan was to tie Pei Zhi up, see what was interesting about her, and then quietly kill her so that there would be no way to prove anything.
"How about you serve me well, and I'll spare your life?"
Pei Zhi looked at the demon's rugged face before her, then forced a smile, "As long as you don't mind."
"Ha." Wan Kui's lips twitched slightly, as if he had heard a funny joke.
Wan Kui quipped, "Is this all the ambition Zhong Changyuan's disciple has?"
Pei Zhi couldn't even maintain her smile anymore.
Why must she refuse so righteously, only to be killed in one fell swoop?
Pei Zhi doesn't have that much backbone.
Pei Zhi tried, "Then I swear I will never comply, what do you think?"
Wan Kui nodded in agreement. "I think that's fine. So, how do you want to die?"
"I can't let you die too quickly, that would be too boring."
Wan Kui tapped his forehead lightly with his finger, saying with a hint of embarrassment, "It's been so long since I've done it myself, I'm a bit rusty."
“I recently acquired a treasure.” A box about the size of a palm suddenly appeared in Wan Kui’s hand.
