Even after seeing the body with his own eyes, Emperor Pei still couldn't quite believe it.
The second prince had Chang Le's body carried over. Chang Le was covered in blood, pale-faced, and his body was already cold.
Emperor Pei squatted down and used a handkerchief to wipe the bloodstains from Pei Zhi's face.

The second prince flattered, "Father is the Son of Heaven, but he was just temporarily deceived by her."
Emperor Pei nodded slightly, "Throw her body into a mass grave and do not let her rest in peace."
The second prince cupped his hands and said, "Your subject obeys."
"Yuan Chengyu, go and take care of this matter."
Just as Yuan Chengyu was about to accept the order, Emperor Pei suddenly said, "Have your own men do it."
Although the second prince had some doubts, he didn't think much of it and waved his hand.
