Afraid that Pei Zhi would push him away, Hu Shi hugged her even tighter.
Pei Zhi asked sincerely, "At this moment, shouldn't you stand up for me and tell me to let you go?"
"That's something only the male lead would do. I'm just a supporting male character; I don't have such high moral character."
Pei Zhi was impressed by Hu Shi's frankness, "You're quite self-aware."
"That's right."
Pei Zhi's smile faded. "See that corridor over there?"
There was a long corridor to Pei Zhi's left, about two meters away from them. "I see it."
"Now slowly move onto my back, and let me carry you."
Hu Shih held Pei Zhi tightly, asking, "What are you going to do?"
“The rope is fully taut. I’ll try swinging it to the other side of the corridor.”
"Big sister, there's a railing in the corridor. Even if you swing over it, if you don't grab on, we'll both fall down."
Hu Shi hurriedly shook his head, "No, no, it's too dangerous."
"Or, we can fall down now, or let me try, and if it doesn't work, then we can fall down."
Pei Zhi considered herself quite skilled; she could easily swing over by herself, grab the railing, and then climb over.
However, she now has someone on her, a big man who is heavier than her.
This greatly increased the difficulty, but Pei Zhi was not one to sit idly by and wait for death.
Hu Shih, however, became frightened. "The rope should hold for a while longer. The people below have already brought clothes and mats. Let's wait a little longer."
"Stop talking nonsense, or I'll push you down right now."
Hu Shih dared not say more and quickly changed his posture.
