Chapter 153 Campus Guardian Angel - University Life Side Story 3

[Meeting a Kitten]

Mu Wenxi took off her headphones, ending the English listening test and preparing to answer the other parts. Compared to the other students who looked confused and racked their brains to answer the questions after taking off their headphones, Mu Wenxi's test went very smoothly, and she encountered almost no difficult problems.

The exam bell rang, and Mu Wenxi walked out of the exam room, slowly walking downstairs with the large crowd, preparing to find Gu Yuze.

On the other side, Gu Yuze also finished his exam. He hurriedly squeezed through the crowd with his backpack on one shoulder, afraid that Mu Wenxi would be waiting.

Thinking of finding a shortcut with fewer people, he encountered a kitten at the corner. The kitten was meowing and was a tabby cat. It was a bit thin and its fur had lost its luster. It blocked Gu Yuze's way. He walked to the side to go around the kitten, but the kitten nudged its head towards his legs.

Gu Yuze: "What's wrong? Kitty?"

The cat tilted its head back at him, its head flat, and meowed.

Gu Yuze squatted down and patted its head: "What's wrong? I'm in a hurry."

The cat meowed and rubbed against Gu Yuze's hand.

Gu Yuze reluctantly lifted his foot and walked forward, and the cat tugged at his leg and followed.

Gu Yuze: "I can't do anything with you, so come with me."

Gu Yuze squatted down, picked up the cat, and quickened his pace. The cat stayed obediently in Gu Yuze's arms and didn't wriggle.

The scene of a handsome guy running with a cat in his arms was really eye-catching. When Mu Wenxi saw Gu Yuze coming over, she immediately noticed the little cat softly nestled in her boyfriend's arms.

Mu Wenxi was a little confused.

Gu Yuze explained, "It was clinging to my leg and wouldn't let me leave, so I had no choice but to bring it with me."

Mu Wenxi understood, walked behind Gu Yuze, and took out a small dried fish from his schoolbag.

Mu Wenxi: "I know, could this be the reason?"

Gu Yuze suddenly realized: "The dried fish you made."

The cat seemed to have smelled the dried fish and kept meowing, craning its neck in Gu Yuze's arms to find the source of the scent. Mu Wenxi took out a dried fish and held it to the cat's mouth.

"Eat."

The cat tentatively nibbled on the dried fish, took a bite and seemed to like it, then took several more bites, but still stayed obediently in Gu Yuze's arms.

Gu Yuze patted the cat: "This little guy has such a keen nose, you can even smell this."

Mu Wenxi: "Maybe it's the smell of what you ate. Why does the cat look a little thin?"

The two of them, one holding the cat and the other feeding it, walked towards a less crowded area. There happened to be a bench by the school lake, so they put the cat down and placed more dried fish on the ground.

The cat had a great appetite and enjoyed the food immensely. In no time, the dried fish was completely gone.

Mu Wenxi: "Is it delicious?"

"Meow."

Mu Wenxi: "I'll make it for you next time."

"Meow."

Gu Yuze: "Why does it seem like it can hear what we're saying?"

Looking at the adorable kitten, Mu Wenxi looked up and asked Gu Yuze, who was squatting opposite her, "Want to adopt the kitten?"

Gu Yuze nodded: "Okay."

Mu Wenxi: "Then let's give it a name."

Gu Yuze: "What should I call you?"

Mu Wenxi: "What happened after the exam, related to the exam?"

Gu Yuze: "How about we call it a perfect score? A perfect score, please?"

Mu Wenxi: "Great, full marks."

She waved, and the kitten ran towards her, jumped into her arms, and nuzzled around with its little head. Mu Wenxi didn't mind that it was dirty at all.

Seeing Mu Wenxi's smile, Gu Yuze felt a warm glow in his heart.

As a result, when the two were about to return to their dormitory, they encountered another problem.

Gu Yuze: "Does your school conduct dormitory checks?"

Mu Wenxi nodded: "Yes, it will be a bit strict."

Gu Yuze thought for a moment and said, "Then I'll secretly take the perfect score back with me."

Mu Wenxi: "Doesn't your roommate mind?"

Gu Yuze: "They won't mind. They love cats. The second son even said he wanted to get one."

Mu Wenxi suddenly thought of something that could be used in the dormitory: "Wait for me a moment, I'll go upstairs to get something."

Mu Wenxi returned to her dormitory and took out all the fruit she had bought not long ago, leaving only the box and some foam inside.

Seeing her hurried movements, her roommate asked, "What's wrong?"

Mu Wenxi: "I'll take this down to Gu Yuze. We found a kitten and planned to put it in here so he could take it back to his dorm."

She quickly went downstairs, where Gu Yuze was still standing, holding the cat.

Many students passing by would glance at the kitten.

"Use this," Mu Wenxi said, placing the cardboard box on the ground, putting the kitten inside, covering it with foam, wrapping the kitten in a soft scarf, closing the box, leaving a vent, and tying a bow on it, making it look like freshly bought fruit.

I don't know if it was because it was too thin, but the cat didn't resist with any effort and was very well-behaved.

Mu Wenxi: "Alright, let's go back."

Gu Yuze kissed Mu Wenxi's face: "Let's go."

He carried the fruit box back to his dorm room, and before entering the building, he looked down at the cat and said, "Be good, don't meow, it'll be ready soon."

Gu Yuze walked into the dormitory building with a carefree attitude, as if he were carrying a box of newly bought fruit. The dormitory supervisor was focused on slacking off and did not notice Gu Yuze, nor did anyone else notice anything unusual.

Gu Yuze, carrying a suitcase, said, "Brothers, I'm back."

Second child: "Wow, that's so kind of you, you even brought us fruit."

Gu Yuze: "No, look what this is?"
