Chapter 202 Raising a Superstar Boyfriend 29

On a weekday afternoon, Mu Wenxi, who was supposed to be at work, took half a day off. Looking up at the psychology studio in front of her, she made a point of taking half a day to consult a psychologist.

Mu Wenxi told the doctor about Wen Nanyin's recent condition: "Actually, I came here without telling him because he seemed to be somewhat resistant to coming to the hospital."

The doctor adjusted his glasses: "I understand."

Mu Wenxi: "I did some research before I came and learned about the symptoms of depression. Is his condition depression?"

Doctor: "Moderate depression."

Mu Wenxi looked a little pale. The doctor glanced at her and added, "It's alright. Actually, everyone has a little bit of mild depression, but most people can adjust on their own. His condition is not too serious, and it was discovered early."

The doctor gave Mu Wenxi some instructions, which Mu Wenxi wrote down one by one: "Okay, I understand, thank you, doctor."

Seeing that it was almost time to get off work, she rushed back to Wen Nanyin's apartment. On the way, she received a call from Mu's mother.

Mother: "Is Xiaoxi coming home for dinner today? I'll make you some chicken soup."

Mu Wenxi: "Thank you, Mom. You and Dad, please eat. I won't be going back to live here for a while."

Mother: "Oh, you live in Nan Yin, right? Tell me the truth, is Xiao Yin...?"

Mu Wenxi: "Mom, don't worry, I'll stay with him."

Mother Mu: "Okay, you stay with him and make sure he's well. This child has had a tough time. If you need anything done, remember to call me. I can cook for you."

Mu Wenxi: "I understand. You just need to rest well. Don't worry about our affairs."

Mother Shepherd: "Okay, Mom knows."

Around 5 o'clock, as soon as Mu Wenxi inserted the key into the lock, the door was opened from the inside.

Wen Nanyin peeked out, looked around, then stared at Mu Wenxi and ushered her in: "You're back?"

Mu Wenxi entered her room, with Wen Nanyin following closely behind. As Mu Wenxi put down her bag, she asked, "How was your day? What did you do at home? Tell me."

Wen Nanyin spread his arms with some pride: "I cleaned the house thoroughly, how is it? Clean, right?"

Mu Wenxi deliberately made an exaggerated expression and walked around the room: "Wow, it's really nice, very clean."

Wen Nanyin pulled her into the study: "Look here, we can work here from now on. When we're tired, we can turn on this projector to watch a movie. This sofa and cushions are really soft; I had them delivered this afternoon."

Mu Wenxi looked at the study, which had been decorated into a warm and comfortable home theater. When the lights were on, it was a warm-toned study; when the lights were off, there was a white wall with a screen hanging on it, and the sofa behind it could just accommodate two people.

Mu Wenxi: "Wow, this feels so comfortable."

Wen Nanyin pulled Mu Wenxi along and eagerly introduced her to the room: "Look at this, ta-da, this is your walk-in closet, do you like it?"

Mu Wenxi nodded at Wen Nanyin, who was asking somewhat cautiously, and said, "Yes."

"This is your room. I've decorated it a bit," Wen Nanyin said, leading her to the room and whispering, "If you'd like, we can share a room in the future, and then we can combine them to make it bigger."

Mu Wenxi: "Wen Nanyin, you did so much today? You did a great job, are you tired?"

Wen Nanyin shook his head: "Not tired."

Mu Wenxi thought to himself, "This is a good symptom: Let's go buy groceries."

Wen Nanyin was disguised by Mu Wenxi again, just like a few days ago. The two of them bought groceries and cooked their own meals. Mu Wenxi thought that if Wen Nanyin couldn't muster any enthusiasm, then he should slowly rediscover the joy of life.

Mu Wenxi: "Auntie, how much is this?"

"Three yuan per jin".

Mu Wenxi: "It's so expensive! Can you make it cheaper?"

The older woman asked, "Can I pay you five yuan for this round?"

Mu Wenxi: "Okay, thank you, Auntie."

The two then headed towards other dishes. Wen Nanyin seemed to have discovered the fun of haggling, and while buying vegetables, she also tried to bargain like Mu Wenxi: "Auntie, can you give me a discount on this?"

The auntie liked his gentle demeanor very much and said, "Okay, okay."

Mu Wenxi chuckled to herself, "You're quite useful. How about I take you with me next time I go grocery shopping?"

Wen Nanyin: "I never thought that grocery shopping could be so fulfilling."

When the two returned home, they divided the work: one cooked and the other cleaned and washed the dishes. After dinner, they would sit and chat or watch a movie. During the weekdays, Mu Wenxi would go to work, and after work and on weekends, Mu Wenxi would find all sorts of ways to take Wen Nanyin out to play and experience all kinds of life.

Wen Nanyin's condition improved day by day. He was no longer as discouraged and decadent as he had been at the beginning. He gradually emerged from Ananda's shadow and regained his composure.

One sunny day, Mu Wenxi got up to wash up and go to work when she saw Wen Nanyin dancing in the living room. Sunlight shone on him through the window, and Mu Wenxi knew that the Wen Nanyin from before had returned.

He started taking up calligraphy again, reviving his hobby, and occasionally meeting up with friends. She was very happy for him.

At night, Wen Nanyin knelt beside Mu Wenxi's bed, pulled the blanket up for her, leaned down and kissed her forehead, whispering in her ear, "Xixi, thank you for coming back."

Lying on his side, Mu Wenxi pressed Wen Nanyin's head down from behind with one hand and kissed the corner of his lips. Wen Nanyin's eyes widened for a moment and he slowly looked at Mu Wenxi, who was smiling at him.

His gaze shifted from the other person's eyes to their slightly upturned lips, and the atmosphere became somewhat ambiguous. Wen Nanyin's Adam's apple bobbed up and down, as if he were a little nervous.

Mu Wenxi found it somewhat amusing: "My big star, you think you can just run away after doing something bad?"

Wen Nanyin: "I didn't."

Mu Wenxi grabbed Wen Nanyin's pajama collar and pulled him onto the bed. Wen Nanyin unconsciously adjusted his position and then realized that their current position was a bit awkward. Wen Nanyin placed his hands on either side of Mu Wenxi's head.

Mu Wenxi, however, still held onto his collar with one hand.

Wen Nanyin tried to get up from her knees but accidentally bumped into Mu Wenxi's leg, causing her to fall back down instantly: "Xixi, I didn't mean to..."

Mu Wenxi released his collar: "Just kidding. Go to sleep now, or do you want to sleep with me?"

Wen Nanyin blushed instantly, but for some reason his courage suddenly grew. He turned over and lay on his side facing Mu Wenxi, and covered himself with the blanket: "I, I'll sleep with you." After saying that, he immediately closed his eyes.

Mu Wenxi laughed heartily: "What should I do, Wen Nanyin? How can you be so cute?"

Wen Nanyin was naturally introverted and didn't like to express himself. At this moment, his face turned red, and he pretended to be asleep, but his ears had already betrayed his nervousness.
