Mu Wenxi pushed another one back: "You owe me one now."
Qin Lun stopped refusing because he knew that Mu Wenxi would never back down again. He swallowed the three crystal cores in front of him, his eyes darting around as he felt the changes in his body.
For a moment he felt like he was losing consciousness and about to burst into flames, but the next second he regained consciousness.
He looked down at his body: "Still no use?"
Qin Lun looked up at Mu Wenxi, intending to speak to her but it seemed pointless. He then saw her blank expression and patted her with his paw: "What's wrong?"
Mu Wenxi snapped out of her daze and lifted Qin Lun up: "This method will definitely work. You can't believe what I just saw? Didn't you feel anything at all?"
Qin Lun shook his head: "I felt a little warm for a moment, but nothing else."
Mu Wenxi: "You turned back into a human for a fleeting moment just now!"
Qin Lun looked a little dazed: "Really?"

Although Qin Lun and Mu Wenxi are both melee attackers, they work together seamlessly. One is responsible for chopping off heads, while the other uses his claws to scratch the zombies' heads. Furthermore, Qin Lun has an exceptionally strong jumping ability.
If any zombie tries to attack Mu Wenxi, Qin Lun will instantly tear off its head. Mu Wenxi's special ability can also confuse zombies, preventing Qin Lun from being harmed when he is in danger.
