Yu Chaoyang comforted Xingxing, who looked worried, telling her not to be afraid.
Mu Wenxi turned around and asked the others behind her, "Should we keep going?"
Yu Chaoyang nodded: "Let's go and keep going."
Yuan Jin looked eager to try: "Since we're already here, we're not going back without killing some zombies."
Wearing gas masks, the group continued forward and stepped into the inner perimeter again. Through her gas mask, Mu Wenxi could see the tiny particles floating in the air, and she thought she was hallucinating.
Mu Wenxi: "Did you see these things too?"

The group slowly groped their way forward, encountering several corpses of superhumans along the way. The corpses were exactly the same as the previous superhumans, their bodies covered in dense, filamentous material.

Yu Chaoyang: "It may have turned into a forest after it was abandoned in the apocalypse."
Continuing forward, there was an iron gate outside the school. Looking up, the gate was covered with countless spider webs. The group entered the school. There was a pile of dilapidated bicycles at the entrance. The playground was empty, and the grass had long since turned to earth.
The campus was quiet, with the occasional flock of crows flying overhead.
Outside the classroom, some zombies were gathered in the corridor, pawing at the door frame. Hearing the noise, they immediately turned around and pounced on the group like wolves.
"Damn, they're all level three or four zombies. The zombies here are leveling up so fast."
"We've stumbled into their den."
"Hurry up."
Mu Wenxi drew his watermelon knife and quickly reaped the heads of the zombies. Qin Lun extended his claws, while Yu Chaoyang and Xingxing attacked and assisted, and Yuan Jin and Shui Ge also cooperated to kill the zombies.

Once everyone was inside, Mu Wenxi slashed at the zombies while closing the door, while Qin Lun jumped in through the outside window and slammed it shut.
The zombies in the basketball court heard the commotion and ran towards them. The group started killing the zombies in the basketball court again. After finally dealing with the zombies, they were panting heavily and collapsed on the ground. They didn't even have time to pick up the crystal cores. Fortunately, Qin Lun was there.
"Let's rest for a while and spend the night here."
"Why are there so many zombies in the school? And they seemed to be in front of the classroom just now. Could there be another team of superpowered individuals here?"

They ran forward, skirting around the horde of zombies from behind, and briefly found a lecture hall to hide in.
A red-haired boy peeked out from a distance, silently observing them.
Yu Chaoyang noticed the boy's figure and told Mu Wenxi, who shook his head.
After a while, the red-haired boy sneaked over and whispered to them, "Are you also superhumans?"
Mu Wenxi nodded and was about to answer when she subconsciously reached out and realized Qin Lun was gone: "Where did Qin Lun go?"

Yu Chaoyang turned around to look: "They were just with us a moment ago."
Mu Wenxi: "You all stay here, I'll go out and find him."
Yu Chaoyang: "Don't be impulsive, it's dangerous outside."
A large number of zombies had gathered at the entrance of the lecture hall. Going out would inevitably mean encountering a large number of zombies, but Mu Wenxi couldn't care less about that at the moment. What if Qin Lun got hurt?
