Qin Lun licked his wound, then nimbly jumped onto the windowsill. The moon hung high in the sky outside, and the deep wound healed slowly under the moonlight, becoming a thin line.
He looked out the window at the zombies in the darkness, a dangerous glint in his eyes: "It's nighttime, time to hunt."
He leaped from the third floor, ran a few steps, jumped onto a zombie, bit off its head, and swallowed the crystal core inside. A trace of blood still clung to his lips. The next second, the beast transformed into a handsome man.
He wiped his mouth with his hand and touched his still empty stomach: "Never mind, I'll kill them tomorrow."
This scene was witnessed by Ren Tingting, who was hiding in a corner not far away. She covered her mouth tightly, not daring to make a sound. Originally, she just wanted to find Qin Lun, but she did not expect to see such a strange scene.
She shifted her body nervously, but Qin Lun could hear the sound of her clothes brushing against the wall.
He glanced in that direction: "Little wildcat."
He ignored her and went back to his room. Ren Tingting, who was in the corner, breathed a sigh of relief and immediately went back to tell her boyfriend about it.
Her boyfriend looked incredulous. Ren Tingting said, "He's too dangerous. We have to leave."
Boyfriend: "But he has never hurt you."
Ren Tingting shook her head frantically: "He's a monster, he's a monster, didn't you see what he looked like just now..."
Ren Tingting was terrified by what she had just witnessed; she had to show her boyfriend what Qin Lun looked like as a monster.
She continued to spend time with Qin Lun during the day without making a sound. Two months later, on a full moon night, when Qin Lun once again turned into his original form, Ren Tingting barged into his room.
Qin Lun was already used to her presence and was completely unguarded around her, but he didn't want anyone to see him in his human form. He wanted to say something, but seeing Ren Tingting's terrified face, he stopped approaching.
Qin Lun thought that she was no different from anyone else.
Ren Tingting: "Don't come any closer, are you a monster?"
Qin Lun: "I'm not, I am..."
Ren Tingting: "You're a monster. I just saw you transform."
Qin Lun wanted to say something, but Ren Tingting kept backing away. Qin Lun could only chase after her to explain, but he discovered that Ren Tingting was just bait.

Ren Tingting: "Don't blame us, you're a monster."
Qin Lun chuckled self-deprecatingly: "Did I hurt anyone?"
Ren Tingting: "You're a monster, it's not our fault."
The surrounding superhumans launched an attack on Qin Lun, but Qin Lun transformed into his original form right in front of them, eliciting another round of gasps from the crowd.
Qin Lun could have escaped, but he suddenly felt that living like this was meaningless, so he stopped resisting and let them use their various superpowers on him.
"Monster, monsters don't deserve to live in this world."
Ren Tingting stood to the side, covering her mouth tightly, muttering something under her breath.
Qin Lun: "You were the one who asked me to come with you, and now you want to kill me."
Ren Tingting: "Shut up! Who told you to be a monster? You're the one who lied to us."
Qin Lun: "Ha, this world is truly disgusting."
He looked at the moon in the sky. Why did he have to live again? He didn't want to come back next time. If he could, he wished he had never been born.
