Chapter 250 My Boyfriend is a Ghost 3

The actors continued their performance, revealing that after the emperor left, the empress was not released but killed, and her head rolled several times on the ground.

Although everyone knew it was a staged performance, they were still startled.

Yu Zhiyuan: "I'm going."

Jiang Qi: "Holy crap!"

Han Chao: "Exciting."

The lights came on the next second, the actor had disappeared, and the fake head on the ground was gone too.

Mu Wenxi almost had a heart attack; it seems this part is over.

The group walked out of the dungeon in the direction they had come from, took another path, and headed towards a large hall in the underground palace.

As Mu Wenxi walked, he felt that the texture of the soil under his feet had changed. He touched the soil on the wall next to him and felt that the texture of this soil was not the same as the soil he was now.

Mu Wenxi took a closer look at the surrounding layout and the patterns on the main hall; they were so realistic and had such a strong sense of history.

Mu Wenxi squatted down and touched the soil under her feet. Tsk, a thought of impossibility flashed through her mind. It couldn't possibly be a real tomb, could it?

Little A suddenly spoke up: "Boss, there's a real tomb underneath this secret room. The owner of the secret room bought it and originally wanted to live there. But after excavating part of it and finding that the structure and texture were very similar to a tomb, the owner saw a business opportunity and transformed it into a secret room."

Mu Wenxi exclaimed, "This boss is really something, building a secret chamber on top of someone else's tomb. But did the boss realize that this is actually a real tomb?"

A: "No, because there are mechanisms in the tomb below. What we have found so far is just the topmost and outermost layer of soil."

Yu Zhiyuan, who was walking ahead, suddenly turned around and looked at Mu Wenxi, who hadn't followed: "Wenxi, what are you doing? Hurry up and come over."

Mu Wenxi: "Coming, coming."

Mu Wenxi patted the mud off his hands, feeling increasingly terrified of the escape room. Surely those props couldn't be real too.

After leaving the main hall, the group arrived at a new room. The most eye-catching feature in the new room was an enormous cauldron, which seemed to be used to hold something.

Mu Wenxi looked around, not daring to touch anything indiscriminately, for fear of touching something unclean.

Yu Zhiyuan walked around the large cauldron once: "What's the meaning of this room? What are we supposed to find?"

Jiang Qi pointed to the patterns on the tripod: "Look at the characters written here, they seem to be trying to suppress something."

Han Chao pointed to the dressing table next to him: "Look here, there's a talisman and a pen. We're definitely going to draw a talisman. Who's going to draw it?"

Mu Wenxi had a bad feeling, and sure enough, the three of them were looking at her.

Yu Zhiyuan: "They've done all the solo missions, can you come and draw the talismans?"

Mu Wenxi seemed genuinely embarrassed to refuse again: "Okay, then I'll do it."

She sat at the table in front of her, looked at the talisman on it, and picked up a brush to trace its pattern.

The system's Little A narrowed its eyes: "Boss, this talisman is real."

Mu Wenxi was surprised and drew a stroke with his brush: "What? It's true, you can even read talismans."

A: "I saw it when I was doing tasks before."

Yu Zhiyuan: "Oh no, what if the drawing goes outside?"

Jiang Qi: "It's okay, it's just a token gesture anyway."

Mu Wenxi: "Then what kind of talisman is this?"

A: "It's a suppression talisman, but you just drew it out, so it's useless now. Also, the paper they used isn't very good; I guess the owner just saw it somewhere and copied it randomly."

Mu Wenxi was somewhat speechless. He quickly finished drawing the talisman with two strokes, picked it up and looked at it: "Alright."

The group stuck the talisman on the cauldron, but there was no reaction whatsoever.

Mu Wenxi picked up the walkie-talkie: "Should we ask?"

Yu Zhiyuan shook her head: "No, it's more fun to play by yourself."

Mu Wenxi nodded and began to explore along with them.

On the bed to the right was a mannequin dressed in very fancy clothes. After feeling around, he found nothing on its body. Mu Wenxi gently moved it aside, rolled up the sheet, and discovered that the bed looked like a mechanical bed from a TV series.

Mu Wenxi applauded his own imagination and rummaged under the bed. There really was a small protrusion, and the whole bed could be flipped over, just big enough to accommodate a person lying down. Mu Wenxi was about to call his friend next to him.

A strong wind blew in from outside, banging loudly against the windows and turning off all the lights in the room. Han Chao shouted, "Quick, the wind is coming back in, let's hide!"

Mu Wenxi was first startled by the sound of the wind hitting the window, and then by Han Chao's loud voice and the sudden darkness of the room. She staggered and bent over, falling onto the bed.

Mu Wenxi was completely bewildered. She hadn't touched the mechanism, so how did it move on its own? Afraid of getting hurt, Mu Wenxi instinctively curled up into a ball and went down the mysterious passage to another place.

Soon the wind stopped, the lights came on, and the friends came out of the cabinets they had been hiding in, but none of them found Mu Wenxi.

Yu Zhiyuan: "Where did Wen Xi go?"

Han Chao scratched his head: "It looked like she was standing by the bed. It was so dark just now, I think I saw her hide under the bed. Could there be some kind of trap?"

Jiang Qi squatted down and touched it: "It seems to have a mechanism, but there's no response."

Yu Zhiyuan: "She hid under the bed and now she's gone. There must be some other mechanism. Oh no, she'll never come back next time. What am I going to do all by myself?"

Jiang Qi: "Doesn't she have a walkie-talkie? Don't worry, everything will be fine."

Han Chao: "Yes, the walkie-talkie is still on her end. If she's scared, she'll definitely scream. The escape room owner definitely knows what he's doing."

Jiang Qi covered her mouth, actually trying to suppress a laugh.

Yu Zhiyuan also pressed the mechanism, but it didn't respond: "This is either one-way or controlled by them from the back end. You can only come back from that side, otherwise you can't get through here."

Han Chao: "Let's go, let's go ahead and wait for her."

On the other side, Mu Wenxi was teleported to an unfamiliar place. She was very nervous at first, thinking it was a solo mission. It was pitch black all around, and she couldn't see anything.

She calmed herself down and said, "It's okay, let's find an exit first."

Then she remembered her walkie-talkie, pressed a button, but there was no response: "Is anyone there? Is anyone there?"

The walkie-talkie light did not flash.

"Hello... This is strange, why isn't the walkie-talkie responding? Never mind, let's find the exit first."

She touched the damp mud on the wall and found it was dark. There were no lights on. She muttered to herself, "Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, there are no ghosts in the world, there are no ghosts."

Mu Wenxi slowly crawled forward, filled with fear in this space that could only accommodate one person. After crawling for about ten meters, Mu Wenxi felt that the space ahead suddenly opened up, but she dared not take a step because she couldn't see anything clearly, only vaguely making out that it was the shape of a room.
