Mu Wenxi said to the two trembling people beside him, "There is only one way to save her now, and that is for someone to go in."
Dong Lihua: "What did you say? Go in? Go in where?"
Mu Wenxi: "Go into the screen."
Dong Lihua twitched the corner of her mouth: "Are you kidding me? Is it really possible for Zhenzhen to get in?"
Li Na was initially filled with astonishment, her extreme fear turning into disbelief into belief. If even ghosts existed in this world, then nothing else seemed impossible. She suddenly calmed down and said, "Why don't we go in together?"
Dong Lihua still couldn't accept it; how had the world started to turn into a fantasy? "I don't want to go in."
Mu Wenxi looked at Li Na and said, "Then let's go in together."
Dong Lihua quickly took a step forward: "No, no, then I'll go in with you. I'm scared here alone. I'm really not dreaming, right?"
Mu Wenxi: "You'll know once you try."
She approached the screen, half of her body projected onto the screen. She stretched out a finger and tentatively poked the screen. Sure enough, the screen was not a real screen, but rather like a kind of barrier.
Half of her fingers disappeared, just as expected, and her other hand tightly gripped Xiao Chang'an's hand.
She turned to look at her two companions and said, "I'll go first."
Dong Lihua and Li Na also saw half of a finger disappear. Mu Wenxi walked closer to the screen, and then half of his body disappeared. The scene was a bit terrifying. The next second, he disappeared completely from the theater.
Li Na and Dong Lihua rubbed their eyes and looked at each other.
Li Na: "Should you go first or me?"
Dong Lihua: "Can we go together?"
The two people held hands and touched the screen together, then disappeared from the spot.
The theater was instantly empty except for the chairs not far away that were still swaying.
The moment Mu Wenxi and Xiao Chang'an disappeared from the screen, they arrived at the roller coaster waiting area.
The waiting area is actually a semi-indoor space. You can see two bright spots in the distance, which should lead to the outside. It seems that there is no cover at either end, and the top is covered by walls.
In the middle is the roller coaster track, stretching far into the distance, seemingly without end. They wait on one side of the track, while the other side resembles a platform for disembarking.
The surrounding lights were somewhat dim, but the entrance transitioned from dark to light, and there were no staff members present.
Mu Wenxi whispered to Xiao Chang'an, "How can we find them?"
Hsiao Chang-an: "Riding a roller coaster."
Mu Wenxi: "We want to ride the roller coaster ourselves?"
Xiao Chang'an: "You'll find out soon enough."
The two waited for the roller coaster outside to return to the platform. Dong Lihua and Li Na also appeared on the waiting platform a second later and walked behind Mu Wenxi.
Li Na: "We're really in."
Dong Lihua: "Is this that roller coaster?"
The two looked around and saw no other passengers. The tracks seemed a bit rusty, and there was a small building next to them, which was probably the control room for the roller coaster, but it was empty.
Li Na leaned close to Mu Wenxi and whispered, "What do we do next?"
Xiao Chang'an pulled Mu Wenxi, who was caught off guard and was pulled two steps to the side.
Mu Wenxi: "Wait for the roller coaster ride. By the way, it's best to pretend you don't know me and not say anything."
Dong Lihua was about to speak when she heard this, but she shut her mouth again. She regretted coming to this abandoned amusement park with them.
The three people and the ghost waited in place for a while.
Soon the sound of the roller coaster getting louder and louder, and the group saw a roller coaster just like the one on the screen slowly drive in. The tracks and the roller coaster made a screeching sound as they rubbed against each other.
The roller coaster was packed with people except for the first two rows, and Li Na's friend Jiaqi was sitting in the second to last row on the right.
Upon closer inspection, everyone's faces were filled with fear and their bodies were trembling; some had even fainted.
The roller coaster slowly came to a stop in front of the three of them. Jiaqi also saw her friend. Her eyes widened, and her eyes were filled with joy at first, but then with despair. Tears streamed down her face, and she mouthed the words, but she did not scream or make any sound.
Mu Wenxi: "She said to run away quickly."
An announcement came from the control room next to the platform: "This roller coaster has arrived at the station. Please disembark in an orderly manner. The next train will depart in ten minutes. All seats will be rearranged in three minutes."
After the broadcast ended, Mu Wenxi clearly saw the last person in the second row of the roller coaster stiffen as he got off the roller coaster and walked to the platform opposite them. Then the passengers in the third row, the fourth row, the fifth row, and even Jiaqi, all endured their fear and got off the roller coaster.
But her legs felt a little weak, and she stumbled and almost fell. After regaining her balance, she walked behind the two people in the front row.
From Mu Wenxi's perspective, the group opposite them was arranged in the exact same formation as the seats on a roller coaster.
Mu Wenxi was a bit bald; the person opposite him seemed like a controlled zombie, and he couldn't find any opportunity to communicate with them.
Li Na tentatively waved to Shen Jiaqi, but the other woman just lowered her eyelids and remained silent.
Dong Lihua: "Why do we have to queue like this? It's so weird."
Just as the three of them were getting anxious and at their wits' end, three minutes passed, and the group opposite them suddenly started moving. The leader led the group down the stairs and onto the waiting platform on Mu Wenxi's side.
They maintained the same formation as before, and their manner was strangely unsettling.
Li Na and Dong Lihua wanted to ask Jiaqi about the situation, but when they found Jiaqi in the group, she shook her head at them.
A notification sounded over the loudspeaker in the control room: "Five minutes remain until boarding time. Please board the bus and find your correct location within the specified time."
After the announcement ended, the people who had been lined up in two rows suddenly dispersed and ran to the roller coaster to find their places.
Mu Wenxi and the other two also went over to take a look and found that each seat had a name written on it.
Dong Lihua's gaze wandered and suddenly stopped on a certain spot. She pointed to that spot and gritted her teeth: "Our names have been written on it too."
Li Na gasped, "The ghosts here know our names, what are we going to do?"
She suddenly ran towards Jiaqi.
Jiaqi breathed a sigh of relief after finding her spot, and someone in the crowd suddenly started crying.
Li Na: "Jiaqi, we're here to save you. How can we save you?"
Jiaqi shook her head: "Why did you come? It's useless, it's useless."
Mu Wenxi: "If there's anything you know, we can help you."
Shen Jiaqi looked at her and asked, "How did you get in?"
Li Na: "We came from the screen in the movie theater."
Despite the absurdity of the answer, Jiaqi didn't ask any questions or raise any doubts, suggesting that she must have gotten here through some bizarre means as well.
