The original owner's intense emotions affected Wen Xi, who had just been teleported there by Little A.
So this is what it feels like to be overwhelmed by emotions. Wen Xi: "What time is it now?"
System A exclaimed in surprise, "Boss, we teleported too late! The timeline has already reached the point where Gu Yuze was about to leave!"
Mu Wenxi, Gu Yuze, and Bai Chi are in the same year. Yesterday, Gu Yuze confessed his feelings to Mu Wenxi but was rejected.
He felt so unwell that he ran laps around the playground in the rain more than ten times, then fell ill when he got home, and his parents will soon transfer him to another school.
Mu Wenxi: "He ran more than ten laps after being rejected?? And even got soaked in the rain," is this normal human behavior?
A: "I know, that's how idol dramas are portrayed."
Wen Xi quickly made a decision: "Send me their home address. Forget it, I'll ask his classmate for it." It's better to be cautious.
Little A didn't dare to ask, only daring to guess in her heart what the boss would do next.
Wen Xi didn't say anything, and went to find Gu Yuze after getting the address.
Gu Yuze's home is in a new residential area, in one of the areas where property prices have skyrocketed in recent years.
There are several shops at the entrance of the residential area, and Xiao A saw fruit and milk.
Seeing that they were about to miss it, Little A quickly spoke up: "Boss, it's best to bring something when visiting a human family. Milk and fruit from over there will do."
Mu Wenxi rang Gu Yuze's doorbell with milk and fruit.
"Who is it?" A woman who looked to be in her thirties opened the door.
"Auntie, hello, I am Mu Wenxi, Gu Yuze's classmate."
The lady's eyes lit up. What a pretty little girl! She quickly invited her in, saying, "Little girl, come in and sit down."
Seeing the fruit basket and milk in her hands, I thought, "Oh, you didn't bring anything, you're too kind."
Mu Wenxi sat on the sofa and solemnly apologized: "Auntie, I'm sorry. Gu Yuze got sick because of me. I said some bad things to him yesterday, I..."
"No need to apologize. It's nothing for a boy to be sick. Did my Xiaoze bother you?"
“He didn’t harass me,” Wen Xi replied seriously.
"You don't need to apologize. I've been through this before. It was my son Xiaoze who made a mistake. He shouldn't have disturbed your studies. I'll teach him a lesson later."
Wen Xi was a little confused. How did it turn into a reprimand? She quickly denied it. The aunt looked at the straightforward girl in front of her with amusement: "Would you like to stay for dinner?"
Wen Xi took out a letter and handed it to Aunt Gu: "No need, Auntie, I still have homework to do. Could you please give this letter to Gu Yuzhe for me?"
The aunt happily saw Wenxi off.
After Mu Wenxi left, he asked Xiao A, "Auntie is very nice. Why do people here like to invite others to stay for dinner?"
A: "It must be to express politeness."
Gu's mother knocked on Gu Yuze's door: "I was thinking of transferring you to another school, but it seems like it's not necessary now."
Gu Yuze vaguely heard his mother say that she was going to transfer him to another school, and he immediately sat up in bed.
"Transfer schools? I'm not transferring!"
Gu's mother looked at him with a stupid look: "What a pig brain! It's one thing to be rejected after confessing your feelings, but to make yourself like this, the girl has already come to you, here's your letter."
Gu Yuze heard this: "Little girl? My letter?"
Gu's mother: "Silly son, you have a good eye."
Having been through similar experiences, Gu's mother could certainly see through the intricacies between the two.
Thinking of the little girl from earlier, Gu's mother covered her mouth and chuckled. It seemed she hadn't quite figured things out yet; her son would have a long wait.
Gu Yuze was somewhat incredulous. Wen Xi had come to see him?
Upon hearing Gu's mother praise his good taste, he immediately chimed in, "Of course, my goddess is the top student in the entire grade, a genius."
Aunt Gu shook her head: "Tsk tsk tsk, your grades are not even a fraction of theirs. No wonder they rejected you. They have good grades and are good-looking. Look at you, all you have is your face, sigh."
Gu Yuze was a little angry. Was this really his own mother?
"I'll try my best. You go out now, I need to read the letter!"
"Okay, okay," Aunt Gu said, and considerately closed the door behind her as she went out.
Gu Yuze felt much better and immediately started reading the letter. After reading it, he carefully put the letter back in the box.
When Gu's father came home in the evening, he saw the fruit basket on the table and asked, "Who came to our house?"
Gu's mother: "Your son's crush."
Gu's father snorted, "What a spineless coward."
Gu's mother glared at Gu's father: "It has nothing to do with that girl. If my daughter were confessed to in high school, I wouldn't agree either."
Mr. Gu felt wronged: "Of course I know it's your son's fault. He was right to refuse. I was saying that he's so old and he's still going to get caught in the rain. He's really stupid."
Gu's mother said, "I was worried that your son would disturb other students' studies and I was thinking of transferring him to another school, but now it seems that your son might be motivated to study hard."
Gu's father found it somewhat amusing: "If he had the brains, he would have learned it long ago."
Gu Yuze: "Are you still my biological parents? How could I be so stupid to talk about my own son like that?"
Mr. and Mrs. Gu exchanged a smile: "Even if he's not very smart, he's still our child."
Gu Yuze hid under the covers, thinking of Wen Xi's letter.
Wen Xi apologized, which meant he didn't dislike me; he just didn't want it to affect his studies. He made up his mind to study hard.
You're overthinking it; the letter didn't mention the word "like."
Mu Wenxi: Gu Yuze, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said such harsh things to you yesterday, causing you to get sick. But we're at a crucial stage in our studies right now, so I can't agree to date you. I hope you recover soon.
It has to be said that it was a misunderstanding.
