Without warning, Huo Jiangliu's organs began to fail. His parents consulted many doctors, but none of them could diagnose the cause of his illness.
One night not long after, Huo Jiangliu's heart stopped beating.
When Huo Jiangliu opened his eyes again, he thought he had just had a long nightmare, but for some reason he felt that everything had happened, so real that it was terrifying.
He was covered in sweat and quickly checked his legs. His legs were completely unharmed except for a scar.
Then there was Mu Wenxi. He quickly got up and went to the door: "Mom, where's Wenxi?"
"Wenxi went to school, of course."
Huo Jiangliu then remembered something incredibly incongruous in his dream: Mu Wenxi was never in it.
He wondered if he was dreaming, but in fact, Mu Wenxi was also a figment of his imagination.
He only snapped out of his dream when he heard Mu Wenxi's voice. This was real, and that was the dream.
Mu Wenxi noticed that his expression was a little off: "What's wrong?"
Huo Jiangliu: "I had a nightmare."
Mu Wenxi: "What did you dream about?"
Huo Jiangliu: "I dreamt that in that world, you weren't there, and I died a long time ago."
Mu Wenxi's eyes widened in surprise, but he still comforted her, "It's all a dream, it's all fake."
Huo Jiangliu: "Luckily you were here, otherwise I really wouldn't have been able to hold on."
Mu Wenxi hugged Huo Jiangliu's little head: "It's okay, it's okay, I'll always be with you."
Huo Jiangliu nodded his little head, refusing to leave Mu Wenxi's shoulder.
After that nightmare, Huo Jiangliu became even more clingy, even wanting to be near Mu Wenxi during class.
When Mu Wenxi suddenly disappeared, Huo Jiangliu searched everywhere for her. Mu Wenxi went to the restroom and saw Huo Jiangliu circling around like a fly.
Mu Wenxi: "I'm here, I'm here."
Huo Jiangliu: "Don't go."
Mu Wenxi: "I didn't leave, I didn't leave."
Sometimes, even when Huo Jiangliu was at the company, he would make a special trip back to have lunch with Mu Wenxi.
Ever since he had that dream, Huo Jiangliu told his father that he was going to the company, and his father was very happy and assigned him some tasks.
Huo Jiangliu worked very hard to make the Huo family even stronger.
He couldn't be as cowardly as he was in his dream; there were still many things he wanted to do with Mu Wenxi.

While Huo Jiang went to the toilet, Qi Yang secretly spoke to Mu Wenxi.

Huo Jiangliu glanced at him: "Stay away from my girlfriend."
Qi Yang thought to himself: I'll show my sister-in-law what you're really like.
On Friday afternoon, Mu Wenxi received a call from Qi Yang.
"Let's go immediately."
At the Huo family company, Qi Yang was already waiting at the entrance: "You've arrived?"
Mu Wenxi: "Where is Huo Jiangliu?"
Qi Yang: "Come with me."
The two entered the company, and the surrounding employees recognized Qi Yang but not Mu Wenxi.
Qi Yang sneakily led Mu Wenxi to the top floor.
Qi Yang whispered, "Let's watch secretly."
Huo Jiangliu's secretary had just come over to greet him when Qi Yang stopped her.
Qi Yang pointed to the office in the distance: "That's Huo Jiangliu's office."
The two pressed their heads against the door, but couldn't hear a sound. The secretary in the distance was very puzzled as to what they were doing.
Suddenly the door opened, and the two quickly hid to the side. An employee came out, his face pale. Mu Wenxi crouched down and peeked out. He only got one glimpse before the door was about to close. Mu Wenxi could never forget the scene inside.
Huo Jiangliu sat at his desk, looking very serious, flipping through documents in his hands.
Qi Yang shushed him, saying, "Let's take another look later."
Mu Wenxi could already sense that his aura was completely different from usual.
A little while later, another employee came in with documents, taking several deep breaths before going in.
An employee walked in: "Mr. Huo, the documents are here."
Huo Jiangliu glanced at the document and pointed out many problems. The employee shrank back and hurriedly left the office.
Mu Wenxi and Qi Yang peeked through the closed door again and felt the atmosphere in the office become even more tense.
Just as Huo Jiangliu was about to look up, the two little heads shrank back.
Qi Yang: "Did you see that?"
Mu Wenxi: "I saw it."
Huo Jiangliu came out: "What are you doing here?"
Mu Wenxi suddenly looked up.
Huo Jiangliu: "You've arrived?"
He glanced at Qi Yang again, as if he could tell what Qi Yang was thinking.
Qi Yang: "I brought my sister-in-law to see you."
Huo Jiangliu: "You can leave now."
Qi Yang: "Don't kick me out like that, it's so annoying."
Huo Jiangliu ignored him and pulled Mu Wenxi into the office.
Mu Wenxi waved to Qi Yang and walked into the office: "Your office is huge!"
Huo Jiangliu: "Sit."
Mu Wenxi: "You look so serious when you're working."
Huo Jiangliu: "Really?"
Mu Wenxi: "Yes."
Huo Jiangliu: "So, am I mean to you?"
Mu Wenxi walked over and sat on Huo Jiangliu's lap: "Of course I'm not fierce."
Huo Jiangliu: "Okay, let's sit here. I'm going to start working."
Mu Wenxi: "Let me down."
Huo Jiangliu: "No, I want to hold you."
Mu Wenxi: "Can you even see the document like that?"
Huo Jiangliu: "Yes, it's possible."
"President Huo".
Mu Wenxi: "Someone's coming. Let me down."
Huo Jiangliu coughed and said, "Don't move, I'll put you down."
Mu Wenxi glared at him in disbelief.
When the employees came in, Huo Jiangliu was sitting at the table leaning back in his chair, while Mu Wenxi was sitting on the sofa with a slightly flushed face.
Mu Wenxi once again felt the aura of "domineering CEO Huo".
"So this is what you're usually like."
Huo Jiangliu was somewhat helpless but followed Mu Wenxi: "Where should we eat lunch?"
Mu Wenxi: "How about we go to your cafeteria?"
Huo Jiangliu: "Okay."
At noon, Huo Jiangliu and Mu Wenxi went to the company cafeteria. They served her food, chopsticks, and spoons, and even fed each other. As a result, the whole company knew that their little boss Huo had a girlfriend, and a very beautiful one at that.
