Tata's blankets are smaller and easier to fold.
"Is this right, Mom?"
"Yes, Tata is very smart."
Tata was very proud and stacked the folds even harder, though they were a little crooked.
"After we finish folding the quilts, we also have to identify the vegetables; it's a task assigned to us by the village chief."
"Mom, are these vegetables the kind we eat?"
"Yes, it's what we eat all the time."
She took out the three pictures the village chief had given her. The first picture showed a plump red chili pepper with a red body.

She reminded us, "We ate this last night, look what color it is!"
Tata racked his brains trying to remember what he had eaten last night.
"Shredded potatoes, shredded potatoes," Tata answered, waving her little fists.
Wen Xi: "Oh yeah, we had shredded potatoes last night. They were all cut into strips, right? This is a whole potato, and it's cut into strips to make shredded potatoes."
Tata: "Potatoes, potatoes."
After thinking for a moment, she simply picked up Tata and went to the kitchen to check on the remaining potatoes.
"Look, this is a potato."
"Tata knows."
