Chapter 4 Campus Guardian Angels 3 - Transferring Classes

Mu Wenxi, who was on Gu Yuze's mind, woke up early.

Her parents were away on a business trip, so she stayed home alone for two days, experiencing the novelty of having a human body, and even studying textbooks under the system's pressure.

Isn't this the early education book that the boss's parents gave Wenxi?

Mu Wenxi was trained using human educational methods, with data imported periodically.

High school knowledge was a piece of cake for Mu Wenxi.

Little A, on the other hand, was incredibly excited and found her many books such as "36 Strategies for Love," "Mind Reading," and "How to Understand Yourself."

She absorbed a lot of knowledge about interpersonal communication.

But how can any of these compare to the importance of delicious food?

As she stepped out of her room, all she could think about was what to eat for breakfast.

Compared to data processing centers that drink nutrient solutions every day, human food is so much more delicious.

After finishing a dozen or so pan-fried buns, a bowl of wontons, a tea egg, and a bowl of soy milk, I walked to school under the surprised gaze of the shop owner.

The students' curious gazes were fixed on Mu Wenxi, who had just arrived in the classroom. They were puzzled when they saw Gu Yuze sitting next to them: "What are you doing in our class? Isn't he from the next class?"

Gu Yuze immediately stood up and moved aside, touching his nose, feeling a little guilty for some reason: "I transferred classes! We'll be deskmates from now on, and I'll study hard."

She nodded and sat down. This was good; she wouldn't have to tell the teacher she was transferring classes anymore, and it would make it easier for her to complete her tasks.

Seeing that he was still standing, other classmates kept sneaking glances over, saying, "Hurry up and sit down."

Gu Yuze was waiting for her to question him, but he didn't expect her to let it go so easily. Just last week, she was still angrily telling him that she would never like him.

These words once deeply hurt him.

However, Wen Xi has already apologized; he's not a petty man who holds grudges.

He took out the breakfast he had prepared and handed it to Wen Xi from under the table: "I brought you breakfast."

Wen Xi heard "breakfast?" She glanced at it, thought for a moment, and then declined: "Thank you, I've already eaten breakfast."

Gu Yuze: "It's very delicious. You can have some more after you've finished eating."

Wen Xi: "No, I'm full."

Gu Yuze was feeling a little sad when he noticed Wen Xi's furtive glances at the breakfast. Wen Xi was definitely embarrassed.

"Really don't want it? Then I'll throw it away. It's such a waste to throw it away, but I'm already full..."

Such a good breakfast is going to be thrown away. Wen Xi looked at him and said, "We can't throw it away. It's too wasteful. I'll eat it."

Gu Yuze chuckled and handed the lunchbox to Wen Xi. Just as Wen Xi was about to put the lunchbox on the table, a system notification came.

Little A: "Boss, you have to eat it secretly. You can't bring breakfast to school."

Wen Xi paused for a moment, then put the lunchbox into the drawer and opened the bottom.

Two rows of exquisitely made sushi came into view, and Wen Xi's eyes lit up: "Did your aunt make these?"

She took out the chopsticks from her lunchbox, glanced around out of the corner of her eye, quickly picked up a chopstick, stuffed it into her mouth, and secretly chewed it: "Delicious."

Gu Yuze was a little embarrassed: "It wasn't my mom who made it, it was me."

Mu Wenxi exclaimed in surprise, "You made this? Thank you, it's really delicious!"

Li, a student watching the drama behind them, thought, "Didn't they say the goddess rejected him? Why do I feel like I'm being fed dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection)?"

Gu Yuze: Goddess is so cute, secretly eating something.

After class started, the teachers didn't say anything to Gu Yuze, who was sitting in the back. For the school's big spender, transferring to another class was a small matter.

As long as he doesn't make a fuss, the teachers turn a blind eye.

As soon as the lunch bell rang, the students rushed out.

"Quick, we have braised pork chops today."

"Oh my, reincarnation is happening so fast! They've stepped on me! And today they're making sweet and sour pork."

Seeing that everyone was running so fast, Mu Wenxi thought of "sweet and sour pork" and "braised pork chops" and also sped up the process of tidying up the table.

Gu Yuze immediately put the book into the drawer: "Wen Xi, I want to have dinner with you."

Wen Xi nodded and simply said, "Hurry up."

As Gu Yuze stepped aside, he wondered if even the goddess was afraid of not getting any good food. But the cafeteria didn't have much good food either.

The two rushed to the cafeteria, and Xiao Li, who was behind them, quickly followed.

Many of the cafeteria's food stalls were already packed with people.

Wenxi chose a team with fewer people and chatted with Little A in his mind: "So even humans have to fight for food."

A was speechless: "Boss, they're not fighting over food, they're just saving time to study."

Wen Xi suddenly realized: "Oh, I see. I thought if I was slow, I wouldn't get any food."

Little A was both amused and exasperated: "But if we're too slow, they might not get to eat the dishes they want."

The screen above the queuing window displays today's menu.

Wenxi wanted to eat them all, but the plate only had five compartments.

She craned her neck to look at the dishes in the window, and also took the opportunity to observe the dishes that her classmates had ordered.

She hesitated for a moment and decided to choose the five dishes on the left first, and eat the dishes on the right tomorrow.

Little A: "Boss, ask the auntie to give you a little extra. Human aunties love to shake the spoon the most."

Wen Xi said, "Auntie, please give me more money."

The aunt at the window found it somewhat amusing. She vaguely remembered this pretty young girl; she had always given her too little before. Had she misspoke today?

Seeing that the aunt didn't react, Wen Xi repeated, "Auntie, please give me some extra money, thank you."

The auntie exclaimed, "Oh, you're right!"

Thinking that such a thin little girl was still developing, she should eat more, so the aunt took a spoon and scooped out five large spoonfuls.

Auntie: "Young lady, eat more, you're so thin."

Wen Xi: "Thank you, Auntie."

Holding the heavy plate, Wenxi was a little lost. Where am I? Where should I sit? Where's the main dish?

Gu Yuze went to find Wen Xi after the aunt finished getting the food. He saw Wen Xi standing still and assumed she was waiting for him.

He was secretly pleased, thinking that Wen Xi must be the same kind of person as his mother—tough on the outside but soft on the inside.

He called out to Wenxi and walked towards the food area. Just as he was about to get Wenxi a bowl of rice, Wenxi said, "I want more."

He took two large bowls of food and said, "Let's go find seats."

A boy who looked similar to Gu Yuze waved to them from a short distance away: "Brother, over here, Gu Yuze, over here."

While Wen Xi was wondering if she knew this person, Gu Yuze walked towards the boy.

Upon seeing the boy's face, she immediately realized that he was Gu Yuze's relative.

He was also the boy who helped Bai Chi discover his crime!
