Because of bullying, her seat was always in the corner of the classroom, next to the trash can, surrounded by garbage and a foul smell.
She easily moved her table to the window.
The sound of the table hitting the ground made the student in front of her flinch, but she just kept her head down without making a sound or looking back.
Mu Wenxi knew that this was someone who had been bullied just like her.
Li Qiang's face was a little pale. He realized what was happening and wanted to get up to confront Mu Wenxi, but the math teacher stepped into the classroom as if he had timed it perfectly.
He could only sit in his seat and silently suppress his anger, thinking that he would find Mu Wenxi after class. He didn't dare to cause trouble for the bespectacled boy next to him who was mocking him, as he was someone he couldn't afford to offend.
Under the teacher's watchful eye, the students took out their textbooks. The only people in this school who could save them were the teachers, and the teachers were people they couldn't bully.
The math teacher was somewhat surprised that the students were so quiet when she entered the classroom today; usually, she would have to maintain order for a while before she could start the lesson.
The situation in the classroom was completely visible. Wenxi, who was sitting near the trash can, moved to the window. She didn't know what had happened and was a little worried, but she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Wenxi was unharmed.
Wen Xi rummaged around in his desk for a bit and pulled out his textbook, then started reading it seriously, trying to keep up with the math teacher's pace.
After class, the math teacher called Wenxi over. This child was always very attentive, and it was clear that she had a solid foundation, but she tended to make mistakes during exams: "How was it today? Did you understand everything?"
Wen Xi nodded: "I understand, thank you, teacher."
Math teacher Zhu was very kind: "Wenxi, don't give up. I know your grades were pretty good before. It's just that the time isn't right yet. You have to believe that every step you take from now on will be better than now."
After saying that, she waved her hand and told Wenxi to go back. Wenxi was a little surprised and touched. Her efforts were seen by others. Her teacher told her not to give up, and she couldn't give up on herself.
Teacher Li, who was behind her, leaned closer with a hint of disdain in her eyes: "Teacher Zhu, you're really worrying a lot."
Teacher Zhu didn't even look up as she graded the test papers: "This child studies very diligently; we'll save as many as we can."
Teacher Li pursed her lips and rolled her eyes: "If I taught like you, I would have been exhausted long ago."
Teacher Zhu smiled but didn't say anything. Everyone has their own standards, and she also has her own original intentions and responsibilities.
Wenxi returned to the classroom and took out her textbook to study. She had never had any friends in this class, and the people around her were completely unfamiliar to her.
Whether it's creating blackboard newspapers, sports meets, or regular group activities, she's always excluded. No one ever asks her if she wants to participate, nor does anyone invite her to join a team.
She was already used to it; at noon, she would quietly sit in a corner and finish her meal.
Li Qiang was furious. He hadn't found a chance to cause trouble for Mu Wenxi all day until school ended. The other boy would disappear without a trace as soon as get out of class ended, only to reappear as soon as class started. He was determined to teach him a lesson.
After school, Wenxi hurriedly left, as if anticipating something, and ran towards her brother who was waiting at the door.
Fu Yiwei was waiting at the school gate early in the morning. He only stopped when he saw Wen Xixin: "How was your day? Did anyone bully you?"
Wen Xi shook her head: "No, they wouldn't dare to make a move at school."
Upon hearing this, Fu Yiwei frowned: "They would attack you outside of school? That's too arrogant. From now on, I'll pick you up every day."
Wen Xi sighed, she hadn't said that: "Without them, at most it would just be verbal abuse, they wouldn't dare to actually do it, brother."
Fu Yiwei did not think that verbal abuse was a trivial matter: "I will transfer you to another school as soon as possible, and those who bullied you will be punished as they deserve."
Mu Wenxi agreed and fiddled with her phone, feeling that her bangs were getting too long and blocking her vision: "Brother, can you take me to get a haircut? My bangs are too long."
Fu Yiwei looked in the rearview mirror and saw her sister's bangs almost touching her eyes: "Okay."
After getting her bangs cut, Wenxi felt her vision was finally clear, and she even thought she looked somewhat cute in the mirror.
Fu Yiwei: "It's better this way, it's cuter. The previous one was really too long. Don't wear makeup anymore. Look how clean it is. Wearing makeup all the time is bad for your skin."
Wen Xi nodded; she thought so too. The main problem was that the original owner's makeup skills were really not good: "Brother, do you think my makeup was ugly before?"
Fu Yiwei recalled for a moment, her expression somewhat embarrassed: "Actually, I didn't pay much attention, but I just thought she was particularly white, like she had been coated with several layers of flour."
Wen Xi asked incredulously, "Then why didn't you stop me?"
Fu Yiwei said helplessly, "I told you before, didn't I?"
Wen Xi stuck out her tongue: "I was just going through my rebellious phase."
Fu Yiwei laughed out loud: "Okay, you're going through a rebellious phase, but no matter what, you're still my sister. Just don't hurt yourself."
"Okay."
The next day, Wenxi went to school and handed in her homework on time.
Looking at Wen Xi without makeup, the math class representative was a little surprised: "You look quite cute like this. Why did you wear makeup and glasses before?"
Wen Xi rolled her eyes: "Uh, maybe my aesthetic sense is just messed up."
The math class representative found the person in front of her to be so interesting for the first time. She had thought the other person was a bookworm and would ignore her when she talked to her before, but now she seemed much better.
Chemistry teacher Li walked in and handed out a pile of test papers: "We will have a pop quiz today."
She left for a while, and many students started cheating or peeking at the people next to them.
Wen Xi finished her test early, sitting in the last row. She pretended not to see the group of people cheating in front of her. You reap what you sow. These people cheating can't save the collapsed ruins. It's just a superficial effort.
It was almost 5:30, and she was happily drawing on the draft paper, knowing she would soon see Fu Yiwei. However, she didn't expect that someone would deliberately prevent her from going home.
The chemistry teacher was furious. It was one thing for these students to cheat, but to do it so blatantly, and one of them even got a perfect score! They really didn't take her seriously. She stormed into the classroom and slammed the test paper on the desk: "Those who cheated on today's test, stand up! It's one thing to have bad grades, but bad character too!"
The classroom was completely silent; no one admitted it.
Chemistry teacher: "Nobody's admitting it, right? Then none of you should go back."
The bespectacled guy kicked Li Qiang, signaling him to stand up quickly, as he was in a hurry to get home.
Li Qiang glanced at him, gritted his teeth, and stood up.
The chemistry teacher looked back and forth among the students: "Anything else? You won't admit it, huh? You want me to find out? I'll give you one last chance. Once I find out, you won't have a good life."
Silence fell. The chemistry teacher stood up with a stiff face. One student who had cheated stood up, and a few seconds later, a few more students stood up.
The chemistry teacher waited a moment, then roared, "There's more!"
The students looked at each other, wondering, "What else?"
