The students practiced during their lunch break and music class.
Ma Ge finally got to hear Wen Xi sing and couldn't help but chuckle to himself, only to be nipped in the arm by the class monitor.
Ji Ruru and Wang Erjia couldn't help but suppress their laughter and nudged Wen Xi, saying, "You should sing a little quieter."
He had a husky voice but was tone-deaf, which was quite funny. Wen Xi realized this and could only silently blend into the crowd and mouth the words.
Fortunately, the other students were very supportive, and on the day of the cultural performance, Class 6 lived up to expectations and won second prize. Mu Wenxi even told his family about it when he went home over the weekend.
Fu Yiwei: "Sing it for me."
Mu Wenxi began to sing very seriously, and Fu Yiwei laughed so hard that his shoulders kept shaking.
Wen Xi stomped her foot in embarrassment: "I'm not going to be friends with you guys anymore."
Fu Yiwei burst into laughter.
Time is very tight in the senior year of high school. Students arrive at the classroom early to study, each doing their own thing.
Teacher Wen walked into the classroom and handed out the test papers: "This lesson is for a test to see if you've slacked off during the summer vacation."
A groan erupted from the classroom: "Another test!"
"Senior year of high school is like hell."
Teacher Wen: "Stop talking, hold on."
Unexpectedly, after Teacher Wen left, the other teachers came in and immediately handed out test papers to check their progress over the summer.
The students' wailing was useless. They were depressed all day, as if all their energy had been drained.
In the cafeteria, Wen Xi and his friends were eating heartily.
Wen Xi: "I'm so tired, my mind is completely blank."
Ji Ruru: "What did you choose for the last math question?"
Wen Xi thought for a moment: "It seems to be A."
Ji Ruru: "No way, I chose D."
Wen Xi: "Then maybe I was wrong."
Lin Kaiyi: "I also chose A."
Ma Yiyao: "I forgot. Forgetting it after the exam is the right way to reduce the burden on the brain."
Ji Ruru: "Oh no, I was wrong."
Wang Erjia: "Why don't you think they did something wrong?"
Ji Ruru glanced at her: "Of course, the minority should obey the majority."
Sure enough, when the test papers were handed out the next day, Ji Ruru had made a mistake.
Teacher Wen stood on the podium, somewhat angry.
"This test is not difficult, but you need to be careful. It's only been a summer vacation, and many of you haven't studied hard enough and have forgotten all the knowledge points."
Teacher Wen pressed her brow: "However, we still have three perfect scores in our class. Well done, Lin Kaiyi, Ma Yiyao and Mu Wenxi. You should learn from Mu. She has made great progress."
Wang Erjia nudged Wen Xi's desk: "Not bad, Wen Xi, you got a perfect score."
Ji Ruru gave Wen Xi a thumbs up.
However, the consequence of getting full marks is that more students ask questions.
Originally, most students would ask Ma Ge, the class monitor, or the subject representatives for questions, but now some students are actually asking her questions.
Wen Xi felt a little proud and patiently helped her classmate solve the problem.
This was not the case before. In the past, her classmates would only ridicule her for pretending, and no one would study seriously. Everything is different now.
Wenxi was studying at her desk while waiting for her classmates to finish washing up when her phone vibrated, catching her attention.
Fu Yiwei: Are you asleep?
Wen Xi: "Not yet."
Fu Yiwei: Are you hungry?
Wen Xi was a little confused: "What's wrong? I'm not hungry, I've already eaten dinner."
Fu Yiwei: "Want some snacks? Come find me at the back gate of the school."
Wen Xi: "You came to see me?"
Wenxi stood up from her chair. She wondered if her brother was coming to find her. She quickly put on a pair of sneakers and hurried off to find him.
Where are you going?
Wen Xi: "Go to the convenience store, I'll be right back."
She ran to the back gate of the school. There was no security room at the back gate, but it was surrounded by iron railings with many gaps, making it perfect for a transaction.
There are no electric lights here, so it's quite dark.
Wen Xi walked forward quietly, calling out, "Brother? Brother?"
A voice came from behind the railing: "I'm here."
Wen Xi approached the railing: "Brother, what brings you here?"
Fu Yiwei was outside the railing. Wen Xi couldn't see his expression, but she could hear his somewhat rapid breathing: "I'm bringing you some food."
Wen Xi: "Oh, you don't need to come in person, our school has a convenience store."
Fu Yiwei: "Can the things sold at the convenience store be the same as what I bought for you?"
Wen Xi: "Yes, yes, it's different."
Fu Yiwei: "I bought you your favorite fruits, but I didn't bring too many."
After he finished speaking, he stepped onto the railing, stretched out his long arm, and threw the package over from above.
Wen Xi picked up the package, and felt something soft underneath that looked like foam: "Thank you, brother."
Fu Yiwei reached through the railing and pinched Wen Xi's cheek: "Don't lose weight."
Wen Xi grabbed her brother's hand and said, "Your hands are so hot. Don't worry, I won't lose weight, hehe. The school dinner is delicious."
Seeing that it was getting late, Fu Yiwei said, "Alright, I'll pick you up on Friday. I'm leaving now."
Wen Xi: "Be careful, brother."
Clutching the snacks, she took off her school uniform jacket and draped it over the snacks before returning to her dormitory, avoiding the dormitory supervisor.
Wang Erjia had just finished showering and was drying her hair when she asked, "Where have you been?"
Wen Xi made a shushing gesture: "My brother brought me food."
Wang Erjia: "You're really something, you can do that."
When Wenxi opened the package, it was full of her favorite snacks and fruits.
"Help yourself to eat whatever you want."
Wang Erjia: "Thank you, brother."
After washing up, Ruru saw the fruit and snacks on the table and looked at Wenxi: "Where did you get these? Our school store doesn't have these."
Wen Xi: "My brother gave it to me, hehe."
Ji Ruru wailed, "God owes me an older brother. Fine, then I'll cling to your leg."
Wen Xi: "Don't mention it."
It was almost 10 o'clock, time to turn off the lights, but everyone continued studying.
The dormitory supervisor went to each room and knocked on the door, saying, "Lights out! Lights out!"
The three of them climbed onto their beds with their workbooks. After the dormitory supervisor left, they promptly grabbed a flashlight, wrapped themselves in blankets to block out the light, and used the small flashlight to illuminate their knowledge.
Wen Xi watched for a while, then lifted the blanket and found that there was still a little light coming through the blankets of her two friends: "You two don't stay up too late, I'm going to sleep first."
"Good night".
Goodnight, Mumu.
She is better suited to waking up early than staying up late at night.
Ji Ruru and Wang Erjia rustled in their blankets for a long time before finally falling asleep.
Wenxi woke up naturally around 5 a.m., quietly got out of bed to wash up, probably because she had been studying late, and neither Ruru nor Erjia were woken up.
It was 7 o'clock, half an hour before morning self-study, and the two of them still hadn't moved at all. Wenxi had no choice but to shake them awake: "It's 7 o'clock, it's 7 o'clock."
Upon hearing that it was 7 o'clock, the two of them jumped out of bed in a flash, finished brushing their teeth, washing their faces, and getting dressed in five minutes, and ate breakfast in fifteen minutes. The three of them walked into the classroom right on time to start a new day of hard work.
