Raising a Superstar Boyfriend 30
The next morning, Wen Nanyin opened his eyes and saw Mu Wenxi. The person he loved was right in front of him. They were not separated by life and death, but were together. This feeling was really, really good.
He suddenly remembered the first time he met Mu Wenxi when he was a child. She was like a princess, quiet and gentle, wearing a clean princess dress, while he was just a shy little boy who had just come from the countryside.
He was also ridiculed by his classmates because of his appearance and dark skin, which is why he felt so much empathy for Ananda.
He was afraid that Mu Wenxi would look down on him and not play with him, but that wasn't the case. Mu Wenxi didn't look down on him because of her good family background, nor did she distance herself from him because he wasn't good-looking. She treated everyone equally.
But occasionally Wen Nanyin would feel that he was special and different from others, because Mu Wenxi was only particularly close to him. He thought Mu Wenxi didn't understand, but later he found that she really didn't mind. Her maturity was far beyond that of her peers, and she didn't care about those superficial material things.
She was always there for him during his difficult times, but she didn't help him complete the tasks themselves. Instead, she helped him organize his thoughts so he could solve the problems himself. How could he miss out on such a wonderful person?
He didn't want Mu Wenxi to worry, so he gradually found himself again, returned to school to finish what he needed to do, and said goodbye to his roommates and teachers properly.
Xiao Liu: "You almost worried us to death, thank goodness."
Teacher: "Good child, don't slack off after graduation, keep up the good work!"
Finally, he attended the graduation ceremony. Not far away, Mu Wenxi came to give him flowers. The two looked at each other and smiled.
Not long after, good news came from the movie that had caused Wen Nan to develop depression: the movie won several awards at overseas film festivals and will be officially released soon.
On the day of the movie premiere, Mu Wenxi and his parents, as well as Wen Nanyin's parents, were all invited to attend. Watching Wen Nanyin in the movie, they felt a little unfamiliar with him, but also gratified, as their child had finally grown up into a man.
Mu Wenxi was seated in the back row. She made a special effort to dress up and be in the best possible condition to welcome Wen Nanyin's first movie. Halfway through the movie, she felt someone sit down next to her, but she was so engrossed in the story that she didn't notice.
When Mu Wenxi saw Ananda commit suicide, it was as if she saw Ananda's figure overlap with Wen Nanyin's suicide in her previous life. She felt a dense pain in her heart, and tears flowed down her face without her realizing it.
Just as she was about to reach out and wipe away her tears, the person next to her reached out and grabbed her. She tried to struggle, but the person next to her spoke up, "It's me," it was Wen Nanyin.
Mu Wenxi felt relieved. Wen Nayin held her hand tightly and turned to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes.
When the movie ended, Mu Wenxi couldn't hold back her tears and they fell again. Wen Nanyin patted her back to comfort her. Luckily, the two of them were sitting in the back, otherwise Mu Wenxi would have been afraid of being discovered by others.
Many audience members were in tears, some even sobbing quietly, creating a very somber atmosphere. After a while, the entire audience erupted in applause, and the atmosphere only improved slightly when the host came out.
Host: "Thank you all for coming to the premiere of our film. There's a surprise today: our creative team and the main actors are actually sitting in the audience with you and watching the whole movie together."
The stage lights came on instantly, and the audience began to search. The main creators and actors sitting in the audience came up on stage one after another. Mu Wenxi felt that when the host announced the names, many audience members turned around to look at their positions.
Wen Nanyin slowly walked onto the stage, and the director, who was sitting in the first row, also stood up and stood in the middle, next to Wen Nanyin.
The host first interacted with the director for a while, then asked the audience about their feelings on the film. The fans' comments were surprisingly positive.
One viewer said, "What surprised me most after watching this movie was Wen Nanyin's acting skills. I didn't expect him to be such a good actor, because my impression of Wen Nanyin was still based on the TV series he acted in a few years ago. But his acting skills in this movie are completely transformed. I just want to say Wen Nanyin, you are Ananda."
Host: "In this movie, Nan Yin plays Anan, a teenager suffering from depression. My first thought after watching the movie was, how did you manage to be so realistic? You brought Anan to life."
Wen Nanyin: "Thank you. It's all thanks to the director for having me do a lot of research before playing this role, including observing some real people with depression and spending time with them every day."
Host: "What would the director like to say to Nan Yin?"
Director: "I didn't expect Nan Yin to act so well. I think it's because he truly became Ananda. I remember on the day we wrapped up filming, he didn't even realize that we had finished filming. At that time, I was actually quite scared because there are some actors who get so into the role that they can never get out of it for the rest of their lives."
Director: "I want to tell Nam-eun that you should be confident that you are a born actor."
Wen Nan's eyes reddened: "Thank you, director."
Host: "Has Nan Yin broken out of character yet?"
Wen Nanyin nodded.
Host: "Did Nan Yin encounter any difficulties during filming?"
Wen Nanyin: "Yes, because the whole movie is a very depressing movie, so it took me a long time to get out of it after filming. But luckily I met someone who helped me. She stayed with me and that's how I got out of Ananda's world."
Host: "Can we find out who that person is?"
Wen Nanyin glanced at a corner of the scene: "Yes, it's someone I like."
A scream erupted from the audience. Mu Wenxi froze. Just how bold was Wen Nanyin to say that at the movie premiere? Even the host and the others widened their eyes.
The audience looked around, trying to figure out who that person was.
The host had to smooth things over: "Our Nan Yin is really still a young man, very honest. Aren't you afraid your fans will leave you?"
Wen Nanyin: "I'm scared, but I promised my fans that if I had someone I liked, I wouldn't lie to them and I would definitely tell them."
Host: "Haha, then best wishes to Nan Yin."
Mu Wenxi quietly lowered the brim of her hat, not wanting others to notice that her face was already flushed red under the brim.
When they went back, Mu Wenxi deliberately stayed behind last. Soon the two met in the parking lot. Mu Wenxi looked at Wen Nanyin and said, "You really were too impulsive!"
Wen Nanyin took her hand and kissed it: "I was thinking that if the host asked if I could invite you up, I could tell everyone that the person I like is you, but unfortunately he didn't."
