Dawn broke, mist rose from the sea, and there was a red glow on the horizon. As time passed, the range gradually expanded, and finally a red sun jumped out of the water.
Fishermen on the shore of Carmel were pushing their boats into the sea when a child suddenly pointed excitedly at the sea and shouted, "Boat, boat!"
The fisherman wondered what was so exciting about the boat, and looked up casually, his eyes suddenly widened: "A huge ship!" A behemoth slowly emerged from the fog, with a huge canvas and a hull that seemed to have no end. The powerful momentum forced him to step back and sit down on the ground.
The fisherman scrambled and ran towards the town, carrying the child in his arms: "Mayor, mayor!"
Naxi and Xihe stood on the deck, laughing uncontrollably: "He wouldn't think we're here to rob him, would he?"
After drifting on the sea for half a month, the elves were very excited to see the land. They walked out of the cabin and looked around on the deck. Unfortunately, Carmel was just an ordinary town, which made them very disappointed.
The Great Elder walked up to Xihe and bowed respectfully: "Sir, where is the Great... King?"
Xihe looked at the lush forest stretching for thousands of miles and said, "There."
The ship docked in the bay, the elves pulled out the carriage, and the sirens that had been following the ship watched quietly from a distance. Xihe dragged its snake tail along the ground.
The grass was green and the fields on both sides of the road were covered with weeds, dotted with small yellow and white flowers.
The team walked in unison on the path.
The elves looked around curiously, and soon a small wooden house appeared in their sight, standing quietly at the edge of the forest. Orange-red light shone on the treetops and the house, and birds chirped.
Xihe suddenly sped up, and the elf quickly caught up.
The wooden house was getting closer and closer, and soon everyone came to the outside of the yard and stopped.
Xihe silently looked at the yard in front of him. Weeds and flowers were intertwined, vines were climbing on the walls, the fence had fallen to the ground because it could not bear the weight, and the vase on the second-floor balcony stood withered.
The wooden house that she had once kept in good order was now overgrown with weeds.
Naxi was surprised: "He's gone?"
Xihe: “No.”
She put her hand on the door and it crashed down, sending the small animals scattering in all directions.
Xihe stepped on the door and walked into the yard.
The elves looked at the abandoned wooden house in front of them and were dumbfounded: "The eldest prince actually lives here?" Their eldest prince who had been living a life of luxury since childhood?
I couldn't help but wipe my eyes in disbelief.
Xihe pushed open the door of the main house, and a cloud of dust blew in her face, making her sneeze.
"Jocelyn?"
Xihe dusted himself off and walked up the stairs.
The stairs creaked and swayed with every step. Xihe looked around the upstairs and found that it was also covered with spider webs. She walked to Ruoslan's door and knocked. "Ruoslan, are you there? I'm back."
The wooden door was closed, so Xihe pushed it in and the door opened.
One person is inside the door and the other is standing outside.
Their eyes met.
Xihe smiled brightly: "How are you lately?"
She was still wearing the black robe, her white feet exposed to the air, and a bright smile on her face. She was in stark contrast to Jocelyn, who was dressed in gorgeous and exquisite clothes inside the room. His white clothes were whiter than snow, and he seemed to be noble in the clouds.
Jocelyn looked at the person in front of him without blinking, and his hands behind his back gradually clenched.
Xihe's gaze fell on his thin face, and his tone was particularly guilty: "Why are you thinner? Blame it on me. I didn't take good care of you."
Ruoslan pursed her lips and said nothing. Xihe didn't care and smiled, "But it won't happen again in the future." She walked over, stood in front of Ruoslan, looked up at him, and Ruoslan's eyes fell on her face.
It was quiet outside the window. The elf team stood there waiting quietly. A breeze blew from the forest in the distance.
