In the silent woods, the snow was already two feet deep. Yang Shuo and the others took every step with great difficulty, leaning on their trekking poles. Their toes were frozen and their whole bodies were shivering. The road down the mountain seemed to have no end and they could not reach any point no matter how hard they walked.
