"Behave yourself. I haven't gotten back at you for crying and fooling me last night." She cried so hard last night that he felt dizzy. He forgot everything he wanted to ask her.
After a day of training in the camp today, I realized something was wrong.
Fu Yu laughed in anger: "You have become more capable. You can wield a sword and fool people."
Xihe froze up, and whispered softly, "How could that be..."
I thought, isn't this normal practice? If the theory doesn't hold up, then let's just make it a matter of attitude. Anyway, if you argue with me, you're wrong.
"No?"
Fu Yu pinched the little face, his face full of curiosity: "Lin Rou, you are quite good at hiding things, right? Tell me, is there anything else I don't know?"
Xihe's heart skipped a beat. Is this going to be exposed?
She turned her face away, pouted, and muttered softly: "You sound like you know me very well. Besides, I'm not doing this for you, am I?"
"For me?" Fu Yu raised his eyebrows.
"Yes. Otherwise, how could a weak woman like me dare to come to the border without any ability?" Xihe squeezed her eyes and tears fell again.
Fu Yu's brows jumped, and he quickly stopped her from saying anything else. He said with a headache, "Yes, yes, it's all for me. I'm the one who doesn't know what's good for me. Stop crying."
Every time she cried, he was frightened. He couldn't understand how someone could cry so much.
The tears came suddenly, making his heart tremble, as if he had done something extremely evil.
"Oh." Xihe blinked and stopped the faucet.
Fu Yu felt a toothache when he saw this. It was confirmed that this little ancestor was deliberately tormenting him.
The maid started serving the dishes.
Xihe looked surprised at the dinner table. She didn't expect Fu Yu to really let her go like this and not even ask about those barbarians.
She smacked her lips and since he didn't ask, she wouldn't say anything.
At night, once again being held in his arms, Xihe felt a little suffocated. Curled up in the man's arms, she made three rules with him: "Before we get married, you are not allowed to touch me."
laugh--
The voice above his head was mocking and casual: "You are so skinny, with no flesh on your body, how could I want you?"
"Oh, it's best if you don't care." Xihe said coldly.
The strong wind blew against the window frame, and the candle on the table gradually went out in the night.
For several days in a row, Fu Yu went to the camp early in the morning, and Xihe stayed in the mansion and slept until noon.
She is not like the original owner who likes poetry and songs, and sings little songs when she has nothing to do.
With nothing to do, she asked the maid to bring some cloth and decided to move her hands which had been stiff for who knows how many years.
The sky-blue fabric and luxurious silk threads outline colorful birds.
"Miss, your embroidery skills are really good. Is it for the general?" The little maid squatted beside her.
"I don't know. Let's make it first." The needle and thread shuttled back and forth on the small round frame of fabric with extremely skillful movements.
"Miss... do you really want to be with the general?" the little maid suddenly asked.
Xihe looked up in surprise: "Isn't this obvious?" After coming all the way here, should she be kind enough to let him go?
"But..." The little maid frowned.
"But what?" A male voice suddenly spoke up.
"General." The little maidservant shuddered and knelt on the ground subconsciously. Cold sweat oozed from her forehead. The fear that penetrated deep into her bones made her tremble.
Xihe frowned, put down her needle and thread, and tugged at the man's clothes: "Don't scare her."
Then he said to the maid, "Go down."
