The weather in July was extremely hot. Everyone was like a sunflower that had lacked water, lying limply on the table, with no desire to act.
Suddenly the sky darkened and a strong wind started blowing outside.
"Is it going to rain?" Wei Yin poked her head out.
"Yeah." Xihe supported his head with one hand, feeling drowsy.
"But we didn't bring an umbrella." Wei Yin frowned.
Xihe changed her posture, facing the window, feeling the refreshing breeze blowing through her hair: "Do you still need an umbrella?"
Uncle Chen's car would drive directly into the school and directly into the garage when he got home.
This worry is simply inexplicable.
"Well……"
The girl blushed and stopped talking, but her eyes looking out the window were filled with worry.
The wind was getting stronger and stronger, and the trees were shaking violently in the wind. After a while, there was a "crash" sound, and rain poured down from the sky.
It fell to the ground with a crackling sound, splashing water.
"Xinxin, can you find an umbrella?" the girl came over.
Xihe finally raised her head. The girl was biting her lower lip, her peach blossom eyes rolling around, looking guilty.
Xihe nodded without asking any further questions: "Well, I'll find one for you later."
Wei Yin breathed a sigh of relief and smiled: "Xinxin, you are so kind."
Xihe couldn't help laughing. Did she know how many times she had to say this in a day?
Soon, the school bell rang. Xihe walked up to a girl under Wei Yin's expectant gaze and said, "Zhang Lei, I want to borrow your umbrella. Is that okay?"
Zhang Lei: …
Wei Yin: ...
"Hey, fine. Here you go."
Zhang Lei was terrified and quickly handed the umbrella to Xihe, fearing that if she was slow, Xihe would kick her out of dissatisfaction.
"Thank you. Zhang Lei is really friendly and helpful." Xihe smiled.
"You're welcome. It's my duty." Hurry up and walk away. I'm scared of staying here.
Xihe smiled, returned to his seat with the umbrella, and handed it to Wei Yin: "Here."
Wei Yin: ...I don’t know how to complain to express how I feel at the moment.
"Aren't you leaving?" Xihe stood up with his schoolbag.
!!!
Wei Yin instantly lost all thoughts. Her face flushed red as a monkey's butt, and she spoke in a weak voice, "Xinxin, I have something to do. How about you go first and I'll come later?"
Um?
She was so mysterious, was she going to meet her lover? Xihe nodded: "Okay, then I'll wait for you downstairs outside."
Then he took his schoolbag and left.
After Wei Yin could no longer see her, she turned around and hid in the corner.
After a while, Wei Yin peeked out and found that there was no one in the corridor, so he ran to Class 1, Grade 2. Sure enough, he saw a boy in plain clothes still doing his homework in the classroom.
It seems like I have to wait until the rain stops before going home.
Being far away, Xihe didn't hear what they said. He only saw the two of them talking for a while, and then Wei Yin suddenly put the umbrella on the table, turned around and ran away.
The high ponytail draws a beautiful arc in the air.
"Wei Yin!" The young man's voice was clear.
The little girl froze and stood there.
The boy calmly packed his schoolbag, holding an umbrella and walking over to Wei Yin. His delicate face was composed. "It's still some distance to the school gate. Let's go together."
"Ah?" The girl widened her eyes.
"Don't you want to?" The young man's eyes flickered.
"Yes, I do."
Then Xihe looked at Wei Yin with a perverted look on his face, and followed the boy out of the classroom in a daze.
It was raining heavily outside, forming small streams on the ground. The umbrella was tilted, and half of the boy's tall body was exposed to the rain.
"Remember to drink some ginger tea when you go home." The boy said at the school gate.
"Good. You too."
Being stared at by those eyes, Wei Yin suddenly became flustered and got into the car as if escaping. All the way in her mind was the boy's voice and smile, and she laughed from time to time.
"Hey, where's Xinxin?" Mrs. Wei looked back.
Wei Yin blinked, her expression suddenly cracked: "I forgot her at school!"
