Chapter 119 A Profligate Rich Kid vs. A Cool and Aloof Little Mute Girl (Part 2)

The Ferrari's headlights flickered, emitting two blinding beams of light.

Chen Tiantian raised her arm to cover her eyes and cursed unhappily, "Who the hell is at my doorstep...?"

Yu Jiamu rolled down the car window, stuck his head out, and called out with a smile, "Little Sweetie."

"Ah, it's Brother Jiamu." Chen Tiantian immediately suppressed her fierce aura and ran to the car door, but when she saw who was sitting in the passenger seat, the smile on her face immediately froze.

"What, haven't you met her yet? This is your sister Zhenzhen." Yu Jiamu said to Chen Tiantian, but his eyes seemed to fall on Lin Zhenzhen unintentionally.

To his surprise, the girl did not show any anger. Her eyes were as calm as a still lake, vaguely reflecting his own image.

It's clear that she's very well-mannered; at least she managed to keep her emotions stable.

"Yes, I've met her." Chen Tiantian chuckled. She couldn't understand why this country bumpkin was sitting in Yu Jiamu's passenger seat. Shouldn't she have been taught a lesson by the group of thugs she had arranged?

"I haven't known my sister for very long, so we're not very familiar yet," Chen Tiantian quickly changed the subject, and said to Yu Jiamu in a coquettish tone, "Brother Jiamu, I haven't seen you in so long, Tiantian misses you so much."

"You really miss me?" Yu Jiamu leaned back lazily in his seat, fiddling with the flip-top of a lighter.

"Really?"

"Then say that in front of my brother next time," Yu Jiamu said with a smile, exposing her true feelings and making Chen Tiantian blush with embarrassment.

"I don't mean that, ugh, how annoying." She reached out to hit Yu Jiamu, and in the shoving, Yu Jiamu accidentally touched Lin Zhenzhen's knee, causing the notebook on it to fall to his feet.

Yu Jiamu bent down first to pick up the notebook, gently dusted it off, and handed it to Lin Zhenzhen.

"Tian Tian is young, so I apologize to you on her behalf." His words were loaded with meaning, referring both to Chen Tian Tian accidentally knocking her things to the ground and to stopping her from entering the house.

Lin Zhenzhen looked up at him, then snatched the notebook and quickly opened the car door.

He got out of the car and slammed the door shut in one fluid motion.

Yu Jiamu watched her retreating figure and couldn't help but press the tip of his tongue against the roof of his mouth. Tsk, had she categorized him as one of the bad guys?

This little girl seems to have quite a temper; she's not as easy to coax as he thought. He couldn't help but smile slightly.

"How could you be so rude to Brother Jiamu!" Chen Tiantian made a move to chase after him, but Yu Jiamu called out to her from behind.

"Sweetie, wait a minute."

Chen Tiantian retreated shyly, asking, "Brother Jiamu, what's wrong?"

Yu Jiamu pointed to the back seat and said succinctly, "Move your brother out of my car."

-------------------------------------

Lin Zhenzhen's room is in the small attic on the third floor. Two weeks ago, she dragged her suitcase to stay with Chen Houwen, but only met her stepmother Wen Hongying.

Wen Hongying didn't make things difficult for her. She just said that Lin Zhenzhen's arrival was sudden and the house hadn't been tidied up yet, so she would have to make do with the attic on the roof for a while.

"Miss, you, you're back!" Aunt Zhang from the house called out to her from the stairwell.

Lin Zhenzhen stopped and smiled and nodded at her.

Watching her retreating figure as she went upstairs, Aunt Zhang had a complicated expression. This young lady who had just arrived looked weak and didn't know how to speak. She had only been here a few days, and she had already been bullied like this by the madam and the young lady. How was she going to live her life in the future?

They're clearly children of the same father, yet they're worlds apart, like heaven and earth.

Forget it, this isn't something a nanny like her can get involved in.

Lin Zhenzhen had barely sat down when an uninvited guest arrived.

She sat on the wooden chair near the door and heard a "clattering" sound coming from the stairs.

She turned her head and saw that the doorknob had been turned ninety degrees.

When Chen Tiantian found she couldn't open the door, she started banging on it—or rather, smashing it.

"Open the door! Ling Zhen, I know you're just mute, not deaf, please open the door, please..."

The door was suddenly pulled open, revealing Lin Zhenzhen's expressionless face.

Why are you looking at me so fiercely! You!

Staring into her calm and composed eyes, Chen Tiantian's imposing aura inexplicably weakened.

"You, in short, you are not allowed to lock the door from now on. This is my home, the whole house belongs to me, so I can come and go in any room as I please, understand?"

Lin Zhenzhen tilted her head as if she was thinking, then she nodded.

Chen Tiantian was satisfied. She held her head high, squeezed through the crack in the door, and like a proud peacock, thoroughly surveyed her territory.

Ha! How can anyone live in such a dirty and messy environment? Is this even 20 square meters? It's probably not even as big as your own bathroom!

She spotted the clothes hanging in the closet with her sharp eyes, and a look of disdain appeared on her face.

"What are you wearing? The fabric is so soft it's giving me an allergic reaction!"

"These jeans are so outdated, how can anyone wear them out? It's a fashion disaster, I can't even imagine it."

Chen Tiantian pointed out everything in the room. Lin Zhenzhen leaned against the door frame, her patience slowly fading.

The system reasonably suspects that if it weren't for the inability to speak, its host would have already sprayed the other party with excrement.

Oh, wait, we can use our hands instead of our mouths.

Sure enough, Lin Zhenzhen immediately began to secretly flex her ankles, thinking that if this person dared to continue acting wildly, she would kick her away.

"Sigh, I doubt you'd understand any of this." Chen Tiantian vented her frustrations and finally felt much better. Heaven knows how jealous she was when she saw Ling Zhen in Yu Jiamu's car.

It wasn't just jealousy that she got to sit in Yu Jiamu's passenger seat, but also jealousy of her captivating beauty, which could steal hearts even in the dark without makeup.

“A sense of style needs to be cultivated gradually through exposure and upbringing. What could you possibly know if you grew up in some godforsaken little place?”

"Haha, that's not your violin case, is it?" Chen Tiantian pointed to the old violin case in the corner of the room and laughed disdainfully.

That was the violin that Lingzhen's maternal grandfather left her. After decades of weathering, the outer layer inevitably had some scratches and damage.

"My God, you don't actually think that the Capital Conservatory of Music is on the same level as those third-rate diploma mills you went to for your undergraduate degree, do you?"

Chen Tiantian covered her mouth and laughed so hard she bent over: "Fine, I'll go to the storeroom later and find an old piano that I don't want anymore. After all, the old antiques I casually threw away are better than your junk."
