What kind of amazing question is this?
"Of course, a fox's ears are furry."
Lin Zhenzhen looked up and saw Gu Bosheng staring straight at the top of her head, his eyes flashing with an inexplicable heat.
She asked somewhat uncertainly, "Do you need me to conjure it up for you to see?"
Gu Bosheng smiled, his eyes forming crescent moons.
"This isn't very convenient."
Even if it's inconvenient, I didn't see you look away!
Helpless, Lin Zhenzhen could only lower her head and try her best to overcome her shame.
But she tried several times, and each attempt ended in failure.
Seeing her face burning redder and redder, Gu Bosheng finally slowly looked away.
He looked into Lin Zhenzhen's eyes and said, "When I come back, can you recite more ancient poems for me?"
Lin Zhenzhen keenly noticed the word "come back".
She quickly calculated the date in her mind.
Gu Bosheng's trip this time is to personally lead the team to fight the zombie king to the death.
Not long after he left, the Gu residence was attacked by another group of zombies.
Lin Zhenzhen looked up, a hint of hesitation and reluctance in her eyes.
"General Gu, where are you going?"
Gu Bosheng remained silent.
Lin Zhenzhen's pupils dilated slightly, as if she suddenly realized that she had overstepped her bounds, and she let out a soft "ah".
"I'm sorry, General, I didn't mean anything by it. I was just worried about you."
Gu Bosheng smiled, his eyes still gentle.
He turned his back and said softly, "You should go back."
Lin Zhenzhen hesitated, her expression conflicted.
It's as if they want to explain something, but don't know how to start.
Finally, she sniffed lightly, suppressing the words that were rising in her throat.
"I'll be going now, you should get some rest too."
She glanced at the person in front of her one last time, seemingly reluctant, before hurrying away.
The night breeze gently caressed her, ruffling her hair.
Lin Zhenzhen could feel Gu Bosheng's gaze on her.
She deliberately straightened her back and tucked her chin slightly.
This adds a touch of slender stubbornness to his silhouette.
Sure enough, Gu Bosheng called out to her.
“Lingzhen”.
The way Gu Bosheng pronounced her name carried an indescribable tenderness.
Lin Zhenzhen stopped in her tracks.
She tilted her head slightly, revealing her exquisite profile at just the right angle.
Don't forget.
Lin Zhenzhen maintained her smile: "Hmm?"
"Squeak squeak squeak!"
The mouse, thrown into the corner, suddenly began to squeal and thrash wildly, as if expressing its dissatisfaction at being ignored.
Lin Zhenzhen's expression stiffened slightly.
Gu Bosheng's voice came from behind.
"I just wanted to remind you not to forget to carry the sacks to the kitchen."
"......OK."
By the time she dragged this big bag of "little cuties" around the Gu residence for a long time and finally returned to her dormitory, it was almost 10 p.m.
Seeing her return, Fan Dandan sat up and asked, "Why are you up so late again?"
Lin Zhenzhen could no longer laugh and replied perfunctorily, "Mice like to be active at night, so the later we stay, the more we can catch."
She took something out of her pocket and handed it to the other person.
"Today's rations."
"Why are you giving me yours again?" Fan Dandan asked a little embarrassedly. "The portions are small for everyone, you won't be full eating like this."
"I have a small appetite, I'm not hungry."
Lin Zhenzhen was reminded of rats whenever she saw this thing, and the thought of rats made her irritable.
She shoved the biscuit into Fan Dandan's hand, saying, "It's okay if I'm all alone, you have a younger brother."
Upon hearing this, Fan Dandan was so moved that tears welled up in her eyes.
Holding the small energy cookie, she murmured to herself, "No one has ever been this kind to me since I was born. Even though I treated you so well before..."
Fan Dandan's voice trailed off.
Thinking back on how she had deliberately made things difficult for Lin Zhenzhen, she really wished she could dig a hole in the ground and bury herself in it.
"Why bring up the past?" Lin Zhenzhen waved her hand and walked towards the bathroom. "Did you leave some water for my bath?"
“I left it,” Fan Dandan added in a loud voice, “I also left my share of water for you.”
Lin Zhenzhen chuckled softly, "Thank you."
She went into the bathroom and quickly took off her mud-covered clothes.
Turn on the simple switch, and a thin stream of water quickly flows out of the black pipe overhead.
The water wasn't completely transparent; it was a pale yellow color and had a faint fishy smell.
But Lin Zhenzhen was already very satisfied. Being able to take a bath in a closed and safe illusion was a luxury in the apocalypse.
If it weren't for Gu Bosheng's status in the Eastern Theater Command, the Gu family would never be living such a comfortable life.
Lin Zhenzhen wiped her face and looked up to see the last drop of water hanging on the pipe wall.
She reached out and shook them down.
Great, I gave myself a full wash today, which was really extreme.
When she stepped outside, the power was off in the room, but Fan Dandan was still awake, sitting on the bed waiting for her.
"Why did you wash your hair again? Washing your hair every day is such a luxury!"
Because water is precious, Fan Dandan can only wash her hair once a month.
Her hair is usually tied up, greasy and shiny, like a hard-boiled egg.
But since everyone's the same, nobody cares about these things.
Lin Zhenzhen is different.
Her skin was delicate and fair, and her slightly wavy, jet-black hair looked beautiful even when it was styled up.
When passing by, regardless of gender, everyone would take a second look at her.
