Chapter 190 Apocalyptic Boss vs. Fox Human-Human Mutant 25

Gu Zhongsheng chose an ambush site in a valley, surrounded by steep cliffs on all sides, with only the river valley providing access for the mobile container.

Several people stood on a high place to observe.

"That's really strange." Ji Xueyi put down his binoculars. "The zombies that gathered along the way not only didn't attack the group escorting Gu Bosheng, but they also dispersed before they arrived."

"Did they install some kind of machine that can repel zombies?"

Ji Xueyi thought it was impossible, but couldn't think of any other explanation.

Only Lin Zhenzhen knew the reason. The book mentioned a sentence: Only higher-level zombies can make zombies fear.

It wasn't the machines that drove them away, but Gu Bosheng in the makeshift hospital.

The escort team carrying Gu Bosheng quickly arrived at their ambush point.

He Dali took off his vest ahead of time, and his muscles bulged out as if they had been injected with water. His enhanced triceps were even bigger than Lin Zhenzhen's entire head.

Upon seeing Gu Zhongsheng's gesture, he suddenly began to exert force.

Lin Zhenzhen saw the towering tree uprooted and crash down, lying horizontally on the ground, completely blocking the original road.

The colossal machine made of gray metal had to come to a stop.

At the same time, Medusa's body began to change, first her arms became transparent, then her body, and finally her head.

She became one with the wind and disappeared from everyone's sight.

A moment later, the hatch opened from the inside, but Gu Zhongsheng beside him was nowhere to be found.

Lin Zhenzhen frowned and whispered, "Gu Zhongsheng?"

Suddenly, she felt something tugging at her sleeve.

"Come with me."

It was Gu Zhongsheng's voice; he had actually transformed into the form of the wind.

Lin Zhenzhen frowned: "What do you mean by this?"

Gu Zhongsheng did not answer her, but led her through layers of small rooms until they finally arrived at a large white door.

There was no handle or keyhole on the door, only a transparent panel about ten centimeters long hanging there.

Lin Zhenzhen was still wondering how Gu Zhongsheng was going to get in when he unexpectedly pulled out a card and placed it on the transparent panel.

With a "beep" sound, the door slowly opened.

Lin Zhenzhen spotted Gu Bosheng in the center of the room at a glance.

Gu Zhongsheng, who was beside him, let out a cryptic laugh.

"Ha, this is really interesting!"

He walked up to Gu Bosheng and bent down to pick up the iron chain from the ground.

The iron chains connecting the four corners of the room tightly bound Gu Bosheng's hands and feet.

He knelt on the ground, his head bowed, looking pitifully weak.

"Look at the grotesque state you're in now, how are you any different from the pigs and cows in the slaughterhouse?"

Gu Bosheng slowly raised his head, and his originally calm eyes finally showed a slight fluctuation when they met Lin Zhenzhen.

His pupils were still golden, but the light had faded considerably.

Like the embers of a torch about to burn out.

Gu Bosheng seemed disgusted with his current appearance, turning his gaze to the ground and avoiding Lin Zhenzhen's eyes.

What are you doing here?

His voice was very soft, and it was unclear whether he was asking Gu Zhongsheng or Lin Zhenzhen.

Gu Zhongsheng replied, "We're here to rescue you."

He added with a smile, "I've come to help you escape from prison."

Gu Bosheng raised his eyelids, his expression unchanged: "I will not go with you."

"That's ridiculous. You're in this state, how dare you challenge me?"

Gu Zhongsheng lifted Gu Bosheng's sleeve.

"How much sedative did they give you? Ten injections? Or twenty?"

Gu Bosheng remained silent.

Gu Zhongsheng pried open his mouth again.

"Hmm, all his teeth have been pulled out. Looks like you really scared him to death."

Gu Zhongsheng smiled sarcastically: "It seems that no matter how many years have passed, the people at the security headquarters are still as incompetent as ever."

But no matter what he said, Gu Bosheng maintained an indifferent expression, as if none of it concerned him.

Gu Zhongsheng sighed and threw the card he had just used to open the door in front of Gu Bosheng.

"Look carefully at what this is."

"Your superior hired me. Are you sure you want to disobey orders?" Gu Zhongsheng's smile suddenly turned cold. "That's not like you."

Gu Bosheng frowned and closed his eyes.

A few seconds later, he opened his eyes again, and his eyes were clear again.

He repeated what he had just said: "What exactly are you doing here?"

"Tsk." Gu Zhongsheng stood up. "I knew it, you're so stubborn."

He released part of his zombie form, with thick, dark green skin climbing up his forearm.

Gu Bosheng used that hand to cut the iron chains binding him, and instantly, the alarm inside the house went off.

Without the support of the chains, Gu Bosheng's tall body swayed twice before falling straight down.

Lin Zhenzhen quickly helped him up.

"General, are you alright?"

Gu Bosheng raised his eyes, pursed his lips, and gave a faint smile.

"I'm fine."

Gu Zhongsheng pulled Lin Zhenzhen behind him.

"Alright, that's enough."

He roughly grabbed Gu Bosheng by the collar and ripped off his coat.

Lin Zhenzhen grabbed his hand: "What are you doing?!"

"What, feeling sorry for me?" Gu Zhongsheng sneered. "It's just changing clothes, it's nothing, you're making it sound like I'm going to eat someone."

Gu Zhongsheng took off his clothes and threw them on the ground.

"You can come out later."

Gu Zhongsheng walked out of the room.
