Lin Zhenzhen finally understood why he had gone through all that trouble.

Ryota Oshima asked in surprise, "A giant sequoia?"
"Yeah. That bloody mess was useless to me. I was going to just throw it away, but the giant sequoia said it wanted it, so I gave it to it."
"You mean it already has self-awareness?" Ryota Oshima said through gritted teeth. "You're lying."
“I’m not making this up.” Lin Zhenzhen frowned, seemingly quite displeased with his suspicion.

"Kill it then." Lin Zhenzhen smiled instead of getting angry, her fox-like eyes narrowing into slits as she laughed. "There are so many capable people like you. Talk to the giant sequoia properly, and it will definitely hand over the stuff obediently."
"If things get out of hand, let's just fight. If Sequoia gets angry, the worst that can happen is that both the Eastern and Western theaters will suffer. It's not a big deal, right?"
