Chapter 267 Demon Realm Seed Player VS. Pseudo-Cold and Aloof Female Master (51)

The body in his arms was soft and carried a faint, sweet fragrance—a scene that had only appeared in his dreams for the past ten years.

Yan Feichen's heart began to pound wildly for no apparent reason. He froze for a few seconds, then pushed Lin Zhenzhen away.

"Lin Zhen, you are truly despicable."

Lin Zhenzhen lay face down, her hair disheveled and spread out in a huge fan shape, almost completely obscuring her upper body. At that moment, she looked like a lifeless rag doll.

Yan Feichen gritted his teeth: "Get up quickly, there's no need to play the victim in front of me."

"Why are you getting up..." Lin Zhenzhen shook her head playfully, burying her head deep in the blanket. "You won't let me hug you anyway."

"...You are truly shameless and beyond redemption."

"oh."

It doesn't matter, the work is done anyway, now she just wants to rest and relax.

Lin Zhenzhen lazily raised her head, glancing sideways at the person beside her: "You really cut off Lianhua's right hand?"

Yan Feichen sneered, his face darkening: "What, you want to avenge him?"

Lin Zhenzhen slowly turned her eyes back: "You're overthinking it. What does his life or death have to do with me?"

"..."

"Don't you understand? From beginning to end, I've only ever cared about you."

Yan Feichen's expression was indifferent: "A mouthful of lies."

"Fine, so I'm the boy who cried wolf in real life, right?" Lin Zhenzhen rolled over to make herself more comfortable.

She squinted, curled up like a cat, and let out a soft hum.

"I'm so sleepy, Yan Feichen." Lin Zhenzhen yawned, a few tears welling up in her eyes. "Can I sleep on your bed for a while?"

Yan Feichen felt a throbbing sensation in his temples, a tightness in his chest, and a general feeling of discomfort.

He suppressed the strange feeling in his heart and refused with a cold face: "No."

"Why not?" Lin Zhenzhen pouted, feeling a little aggrieved. "I always fell asleep in your arms before leaving."

"Lin Zhen!" Yan Feichen shouted angrily, "Open your eyes and see clearly, don't mistake me for another man."

Lin Zhenzhen covered her ears: "You're so fierce! Can't you be a little gentler with me?"

"Want to be gentle?" Yan Feichen asked expressionlessly. "Why should I be gentle to you?"

He once offered her his whole heart, but she rejected it without a second thought.

From the moment he stepped into the abyss of evil, he secretly vowed never again to give anyone the opportunity to trample on his dignity.

"Never mind." Lin Zhenzhen closed her eyes, seemingly intending to act spoiled and ignore everything, but after a while she opened her eyes again and glanced at Yan Feichen.

"Don't you really want to hug me?"

Yan Feichen hesitated for two seconds, but finally coldly refused, "No."

At the time, he had no idea what this act of being stubborn and contradicting himself meant.

"Okay." Lin Zhenzhen nodded, then sniffed heavily. "To be honest, it's my fault. I brought this on myself, so it's really not your fault."

Yan Feichen frowned, seemingly unaccustomed to her sudden 180-degree change in attitude. A layer of frost remained between his brows, the armor he used to protect himself.

"Don't blame me, okay?" Lin Zhenzhen tugged at his sleeve, her eyes crinkling into a smile. "Please forgive me for being older, okay?"

Yan Feichen was speechless at her illogical reasoning. He said expressionlessly, "What does this have to do with age? I'm almost a hundred years younger than you. Shouldn't you be giving way to me?"

Lin Zhenzhen pouted, looking like a wilted little cabbage, and muttered softly, "How annoying, not as cute as before."

Yan Feichen's heart skipped a beat. Her tone was so intimate and gentle that it instantly pulled him back to those days on Tianfeng Peak.

He was her only disciple, and she was the master who would act spoiled towards him. He made peach blossom honey for her, and she called him "little friend."

As if by magic, a radiant pink butterfly quietly flew into Yan Feichen's mind, awakening all the memories he had deliberately sealed away in the deepest recesses of his mind.

He didn't hate the person in front of him at all, or rather, his hatred was utterly worthless in the face of the love he was desperately suppressing.

No matter how much she had hurt herself in the past, as long as she was willing to show a little bit of flattery and not hesitate to reveal a little bit of her true feelings.

The scales of reason he painstakingly built would tip unhesitatingly in the other person's direction.

From beginning to end, he was the humble one. Yan Feichen hated this, yet he couldn't change it.

"I'm so sleepy, so really sleepy." Lin Zhenzhen yawned three times in a row. But she seemed to remember Yan Feichen's words that she shouldn't sleep here.

Even though his eyelids were drooping, he forced himself to stay awake, staring wide-eyed at the air in front of him.

“Lin Zhen.” Yan Feichen suddenly spoke up. He knew it was absurd and humble, but he couldn’t help but want to ask for an answer.

Lin Zhenzhen didn't react until Yan Feichen repeated her name, then she blankly stammered "Ahhh".

"Are you willing?" Yan Feichen suddenly stopped.

He gritted his teeth and paused for a good ten seconds before finally saying the second half of his sentence: "Let's start all over again."

Because the time interval between the first and second halves of the sentence was too long, Lin Zhenzhen was stunned for a while before she realized that this was not a declarative sentence, but a question full of anxiety.

She curled her lips into a smile, the gentleness of which was almost unbelievable.
