Chapter 312 The Unattainable Beauty: Pure-Hearted CEO VS The Scheming, Weak, and Dramatic Green Tea Girl (44 pages)

"It's okay," Lin Zhenzhen's voice was a little muffled. "Let go of me."

Huo Yeshuo's efforts remained undiminished.

Lin Zhenzhen turned to look at him: "I don't blame you, really."

Huo Yeshuo remained silent for two seconds before slowly releasing his hand.

Lin Zhenzhen silently put her right hand behind her back and gently rotated her wrist.

The difference in their strength was too great; if Huo Yeshuo didn't control his strength even slightly, he would hurt her.

Are you leaving now?

Huo Yeshuo lowered his head, staring intently at her. Although his face was expressionless, his tone of voice carried a hint of pleading.

"Do you want me to stay?" Lin Zhenzhen threw the question back at him.

Huo Yeshuo looked at her, but before he could speak, a soft meowing sound suddenly came from inside the room.

The gray Garfield cat took small steps out of the room and rubbed against Huo Yeshuo's trouser leg affectionately.

Huo Yeshuo was silent for a moment: "Let's wait a little longer and stay to play with the princess for a while."

As it spoke, the cat circled around to Lin Zhenzhen's feet, stretching its neck and sniffing her legs, clearly very curious about the unfamiliar scent.

Huo Yeshuo chuckled softly, "It likes you very much."

Lin Zhenzhen stood frozen, her trembling eyelashes betraying her inner turmoil.

Huo Yeshuo bent down, put his arm around the cat, and held it out to Lin Zhenzhen.

"Don't you want to hug it? It has a lot of fat on its belly, and it feels quite nice to rub it."

Lin Zhenzhen hesitated for a few seconds, but still couldn't resist the temptation of the kitten.

She awkwardly reached out and took the cat, gently stroking its little head in her arms.

Before she could even pet it twice, the cat seemed to get tired of it, and with a strong push of its hind legs, it struggled out of her arms.

Lin Zhenzhen lowered her hand, her face revealing an undisguised disappointment.

Huo Yeshuo called out "Princess" in a low voice, and Lin Zhenzhen tugged at his clothes from behind: "Never mind."

"Wait for me a moment."

After saying that, Huo Yeshuo went into the room. When he came out, he was carrying four or five cans of red and green cat food and cat treats.

"Take this."

Lin Zhenzhen took the cat treat, and the cat immediately came over, showing great awareness.

Its two front legs draped over her body ingratiatingly, moving up and down incessantly.

Lin Zhenzhen leaned down and smiled, "It seems our princess is hungry."

She tore a small opening in the cat treat packaging, and the cat immediately snuggled into her arms, sticking out its little tongue and licking her incessantly.

Lin Zhenzhen held up the cat treat in one hand and gently tapped the cat's forehead with the other, speaking in a tone of voice as if coaxing a child.

"What an easy kitten! It doesn't give its owner any trouble with its meals, does it?"

Huo Yeshuo leaned against the door frame, arms crossed, and said in a cool tone, "I really hope it can give me something to worry about. Look at that face, it's flat and round, and getting bigger and bigger."

Lin Zhenzhen immediately covered the cat's ears: "How can you say that about our princess? She's a girl who loves beauty."

Huo Yeshuo frowned almost imperceptibly, then bent down and pulled the princess away, separating her from Lin Zhenzhen by a distance.

"It's a male cat."

Lin Zhenzhen was taken aback: "Then why would you have such a name?"

"When I picked it up, I thought it was a female cat, but it turned out to be male as it grew up. I'm used to calling it by its name, and it doesn't know what it means anyway." Huo Yeshuo's attitude was quite indifferent.

Lin Zhenzhen couldn't help but find it a little funny to imagine him being dressed in a suit and tie and never smiling on weekdays, but then calling her "princess" all over the house when he got home.

She picked up the cat's pink little paw and punched Huo Yeshuo in the air: "It's all Dad's fault, how could you be so casual! You have no manliness at all, you've made the little cat lose face."

Lin Zhenzhen was lying on the ground, her round neckline slightly open, revealing glimpses of her hidden spring scenery.

She held the princess and played with her, causing the once still undulating body to sway.

In the midst of their playful antics, Huo Yeshuo suddenly stood up. His movement was abrupt, and his arm bumped into the slab dining table beside him with a dull thud.

Lin Zhenzhen looked up: "Are you alright?"

Huo Yeshuo awkwardly turned his face away, frowning as he said, "It's nothing."

"But your face is so red, are you feeling unwell?" Lin Zhenzhen asked with concern, moving closer.

Huo Yeshuo took a step back, awkwardly dodging her hand, and said stiffly, "I ate too spicy food just now."

He picked up his coat from the chair: "Let's go, I'll take you home."

Lin Zhenzhen's eyes widened, and after a long while, she reluctantly uttered an "oh".
