After Lin Zhenzhen appeared, their screams grew louder, and some even tried to break free of the driver's arm, but he stopped them.
She snapped out of her reverie, opened the door, and let the two of them in first.
The heavy glass doors kept the crazy fans at bay, but Lin Zhenzhen knew that their appearance together would spark a huge discussion.
This is valuable attention for her, but it may not be a good thing for Zhou Gan.
Seeing her silence, Zhou Gan explained, "It's raining, and I'm worried you'll get wet."
Lin Zhenzhen smiled and said, "I'm not stupid, I would buy an umbrella."
“But I want to see you,” Zhou Gan said frankly, revealing his true feelings.
The driver quickly turned around, pretended to make a phone call, and walked away saying "hello, hello, hello."
Lin Zhenzhen pulled him into a blind spot and whispered, "This isn't a TV show. If we're photographed together, it'll cause a lot of trouble. You should know that."
"Why would it be troublesome?" Zhou Gan said matter-of-factly. "You're both single, what's there to avoid about dating?"
His gaze shifted, and he reached out to gently stroke Lin Zhenzhen's cheek.
She said softly, "Or do you intend to stay this way and never reveal it to me?"
Her tone made it sound as if she were a young wife abandoned by a heartless man.
Lin Zhenzhen was speechless when asked the question; she really hadn't intended to make their relationship public.
For her, all she needed to do was complete the storyline and gain all of Zhou Gan's favorability before she could move on to the next small world.
Therefore, she didn't consider their future together as carefully as he did.
Wait a minute, it seems that neither of them has confirmed their current relationship with each other.
No wonder Zhou Gan felt so insecure.
Lin Zhenzhen sighed, stretched out her arms and hugged Zhou Gan, putting her ear to his chest and listening to his heartbeat.
"That's not what I meant, I just wasn't mentally prepared."
Zhou Gan didn't speak. He took Lin Zhenzhen's hand and slowly moved it to his neck.
Following his movements, gently stroking his skin, Lin Zhenzhen realized something was wrong.
She looked up sharply at the spot where her finger was and saw a small red bump.
Lin Zhenzhen looked closely and saw that it looked like a cursive letter Z.
"You got a tattoo?" His tone was full of shock.
Lin Zhenzhen never expected that Zhou Gan would do something so childish. It would be embarrassing to say that the president of a listed company had an English letter tattooed on his neck.
Lin Zhenzhen frowned and vigorously rubbed that area.
Zhou Gan grabbed her hand, his voice hoarse: "It's newly tattooed, it still hurts a little when I touch it."
"Are you stupid? It's so obvious, aren't you afraid people will laugh at you?"
Zhou chuckled and touched her forehead, saying affectionately, "Don't be afraid, getting your wife's name tattooed isn't shameful."
Hearing that word "wife," Lin Zhenzhen felt conflicted.
"How about I go with you to wash up? We can find a more secluded spot."
“It’s too late, they all saw it just now.” Zhou Gan was referring to the fans taking pictures outside. “Now everyone knows that the person I like is Lin Zhen, and that I’m the one who insisted on clinging to you.”
He hugged Lin Zhenzhen tightly, buried his head in her shoulder, and took a deep breath.
Lin Zhenzhen suddenly realized why he chose that spot for the tattoo: because there was a dark red scar in the same location on her neck.
That was from when Lin Zhen was forced to burn herself with a cigarette butt.
By doing this, Zhou Gan was essentially making an inviolable promise to the world, and also expressing his determination to Lin Zhenzhen that he would never easily give up on her in this lifetime.
"Zhenzhen, please don't push me away."
His voice, deep and resonant like a drumbeat, pierced through Lin Zhenzhen's chest and struck her eardrums.

Lin Zhenzhen raised her arm and gently pushed Zhou Gan away.
She took his hand, smiled broadly, and walked confidently out the door.
Many fans who had heard the news and passersby from the surrounding area came, and the entire square was packed with people.
Fortunately, Zhou Gan's men arrived as well. A team of well-trained bodyguards in black, hand in hand, kept the two firmly within a safe area.
Zhou Gan's eyes never left Lin Zhenzhen the entire time. At a distance of 200 meters, fans could only capture his back and profile. The girl in his arms was completely covered up, with only a small, firm nose and chestnut hair wrapped around Zhou Gan like seaweed showing.
Later, everyone present said that Lin Zhen was so beautiful that she was like a seductive siren, no wonder even Zhou Gan fell for her.
The bodyguards escorted them into the car, and the closed door shut them out of the outside world.
It was a passionate and intense kiss.
At first, Zhou Gan was stunned for a few seconds when Lin Zhenzhen suddenly pounced on him, but he quickly took the initiative, pinning her down on the seat and roughly taking advantage of her.
The sound of rain pattering against the car window masked some of the noise inside, but when Lin Zhenzhen accidentally let out a muffled groan, she belatedly felt a little embarrassed and desperately wanted to push him away.
Zhou Gan, of course, wouldn't let go. He hugged her and kissed the top of her head, her earlobes, and her collarbone again and again.
He kept muttering "Zhenzhen" to himself.
Lin Zhenzhen suddenly felt a pang of reluctance. This was, after all, a celebration that needed to end, and she might have gotten a little too caught up in the drama.
Zhou Gan originally wanted to go and see where she lived, but Lin Zhenzhen thought about it and figured there must be a bunch of gossip reporters lurking downstairs in her old apartment building.
