“When the police and I arrived, the kidnappers had just finished fighting amongst themselves and were both badly injured. You were lying motionless in a pool of blood. My heart almost stopped. Thank God, you were still breathing.”
Bai Qingfeng's expression was solemn, and he did not describe in detail the bloody scene of the bandits fighting.
"Internal strife?" Although she remembered that the two had indeed fought, she clearly saw someone walking towards her.
"You're the one who hugged me?" Lin Zhenzhen asked, somewhat disappointed. "Wasn't anyone else there?"
"Of course not." Bai Qingfeng said, somewhat puzzled. "Why would you ask that?"
"It's nothing." Lin Zhenzhen smiled. "Brother Bai, you saved my life again."

A system notification sounded in my ear.
What's wrong with her this time?
Lin Zhenzhen looked towards the ward door, puzzled. Tan Bei was leaning against the door frame, watching the two of them.
"Xiao Bei, you're here."
Tan Bei slowly approached, a strange and elusive glint appearing in his clear, watery eyes.
He opened the lunchbox in his hand and naturally held the spoon to Lin Zhenzhen's mouth.
"I bet you miss Aunt Zhang's cooking. Come on, open your mouth."
The fragrant meat porridge was right in front of her mouth. Lin Zhenzhen looked at him, but an untimely voice rang in her ears: "Big brother, drink your medicine."
Bai Qingfeng frowned slightly and reached for the tableware.
"I'll feed them."
But Tan Bei's hand was as steady as a rock. He didn't even look at the other person, and simply said, "Your company affairs are too busy, so let me take care of Ning Zhen."
The next second, Bai Qingfeng's phone rang like a death knell.
