Chapter 106 I am the real mother of a rich girl (5)

"Wuyou, can't we talk this out? Why did you have to hit me? Even if we're divorced, I'm still the father of our child. For the sake of the child, you should at least give me some face."

Zhou Anguo felt ignored and couldn't help but angrily assert his presence, his tone filled with resentment, though he thought he hid it well.

These words were spoken with righteous indignation, which made Lu Xuewei and her brother, who were hiding behind the monitor, unable to help but show some agreement. Lu Xuewei even gritted her teeth, feeling that Wuyou was deceiving them and humiliating their father.

Lu Xiangsong frowned. He didn't think Wuyou was the kind of person who would do such a vulgar thing, but he couldn't explain what was happening in front of him, and he felt a bit conflicted.

Lu Jiaqi didn't know Zhou Anguo, let alone have any feelings for him. She just watched Wuyou's domineering actions with shining eyes, feeling envious.

The Liu family had always favored sons over daughters, practicing corporal punishment. Lü Jiaqi had been beaten a lot since childhood, and the girls around him were in similar situations, only his life was more miserable. A woman as independent and assertive as Wuyou was a type she had never seen before; one glance was enough to captivate Lü Jiaqi's heart. A wish couldn't help but sprout in her young heart.

I want to be like my mother, able to slap others instead of always being slapped.

"Face? What face do you have to talk to me about? When you switched my child, did you not think about face at all?" Wuyou gritted her teeth in hatred, and the resentment in her peach blossom eyes sent a chill down Zhou Anguo's spine.

In comparison, what surprised Zhou Anguo even more was Wuyou's mention of switching children. His expression became unnatural for a moment, before turning into one of utter confusion.

"Wuyou, what are you talking about? What do you mean by switching children?" Her bewildered eyes and flustered actions truly showed that confusion was ingrained in her very being.

“Zhou Anguo, twelve years ago, you switched your illegitimate daughter with my biological daughter while I was giving birth. Lü Xuewei is not my biological daughter at all, and you have kept this from me for a full fifteen years.”

Wuyou's tone grew increasingly intense, until she was practically gritting her teeth. Her eyes and actions suggested she wanted nothing more than to tear the other person apart to vent her anger.

The details were so clear that even Zhou Anguo, no matter how strong his resolve, couldn't help but feel flustered. It seemed that Lü Wuyou truly knew about this. No, he couldn't admit it. At least not yet, he couldn't afford to break ties with Lü Wuyou, otherwise all his plans over the years would be ruined, and he might even be sent to prison by this woman.

It has to be said that Zhou Anguo's expression changed extremely quickly. He soon revealed an incredulous look, shook his head frantically, and slumped onto the sofa, looking completely flustered and helpless.

"How could this be? Xuewei is so well-behaved, such a good child, how could she not be our daughter? Wuyou, you have to believe me, I really have no idea about this at all. Someone must be trying to drive a wedge between us."

At this point, Zhou Anguo glanced at Ji Yisi subtly, his eyes clearly accusing her. When it came to shifting blame, Zhou Anguo was a master, quickly finding someone to take the fall.

"Zhou Anguo, are you trying to fool me? I know Steward Ji better than you do; he's a hundred times more cunning than you." Wuyou glanced at Zhou Anguo with disdain, the contempt in her eyes almost tangible.

"Wuyou, you are the one I love deeply, how could I lie to you? Ji Yisi has been plotting against you for a long time and has disliked me for a long time. He wanted to drive me out of the Lü family. It was all his doing. He must have switched our daughters."

Zhou Anguo spoke with such conviction that he was practically swearing an oath to the heavens to prove his loyalty. Towards the end, he almost popped his eyes out, fully displaying the anger of a man who had almost been cuckolded.

Upon hearing this, Wuyou raised an eyebrow, her gaze sweeping over Ji Yisi's indifferent face. She carefully searched through Lü Wuyou's memories and discovered that the two truly had a purely professional relationship, completely devoid of any emotional involvement.

I couldn't help but laugh at Zhou Anguo's shamelessness. He was petty and scheming, yet he projected his own filthy thoughts onto others, thinking they were just as disgusting as him. It was truly laughable.

"Zhou Anguo, put away your filthy thoughts. I already have enough evidence in my hands. Do you want me to show it to you one by one and throw it in your face in public?" Wuyou's face returned to its cold expression, as if it were ice beneath a thousand-year-old snowstorm, unbreakable.

Zhou Anguo hesitated for two seconds, his eyes darting around, clearly feeling guilty. Ultimately, he gritted his teeth and chose to deny it to the death; perhaps the other party was bluffing him?

"Wuyou, I know you're furious, but I really didn't do it. I can't admit it. I'll do anything you ask, but I won't say or do anything that would hurt our relationship."

Towards the end, he couldn't help but portray himself as a deeply affectionate person.

Those watching the surveillance footage intently couldn't help but feel nauseous, their expressions quite strange. They never imagined that their gentle and kind father would be such a philanderer behind their backs.

Especially Lü Xiangsong, who was older and more thoughtful, had already noticed that Zhou Anguo's expression was off and had a vague conclusion, yet he stubbornly clung to that sliver of possibility. After all, the children always longed for their father's love, and in their eyes, Zhou Anguo had always been a gentle, cheerful, and towering father.

Compared to a cold, work-obsessed mother, they can offer them more tenderness and care.

"How could Mom treat Dad like this? I believe Dad is innocent, right, brother?" Lu Xuewei clenched her fists, her face flushed, and she spoke indignantly, looking extremely angry. She couldn't help but turn to Lu Xiangsong for support.

Lu Xiangsong silently looked away, continuing to stare at the screen as if he hadn't heard anything. He used to be able to help his sister without any principles, but now he really couldn't.

"Didn't Mom say you weren't her daughter? Why do you still call her Mom?" Lü Jiaqi tilted her head curiously, her tone and expression full of confusion and a touch of innocent naiveté.

Unbeknownst to her, this was a sharp blow to Lü Xuewei, pulling her back to her senses somewhat. Her hatred for Lü Jiaqi reached its peak; she glared at him with a burning desire to utterly destroy him.

While the three children were whispering among themselves, Wuyou had already shoved all the evidence she had gathered in Zhou Anguo's face without any mercy.

A thick stack of documents, including paternity tests, photos, testimonies from certain individuals, and surveillance footage, presented irrefutable evidence. This overwhelming evidence was a resounding slap in the face to Zhou Anguo, rendering him utterly speechless.

"Wuyou, I was wrong, I didn't mean it. I wasn't feeling well when the baby was born, and I was worried you'd be upset, so I did this. You have to believe me!" Clinging tightly to Wuyou's leg, Zhou Anguo cried with tears and snot streaming down his face, completely losing his previous refined and elite demeanor.
