Chapter 275 The Scumbag in a Rebirth Novel (18)

Muttering foul language, Sun Xiaoying mercilessly tore at An Jin's hair. Luckily, he didn't have long nails, otherwise An Jin's face would probably have been scratched.

"Sun Xiaoying, what are you doing? Stop right now!" Zhou Jiajun was also quite shocked by the scene, but he really didn't dare to interfere in the fight between women, for fear of touching something he shouldn't. He could only stand there and roar angrily.

His temper flared up, and even the most mild-mannered person couldn't withstand such a provocation. Someone had just saved his mother, and now his wife was attacking him like a madwoman—who could stand that?

To her surprise, his words had the opposite effect. Sun Xiaoying knew Zhou Jiajun's personality all too well; he had always been a well-behaved and honest man, so why would he get so angry? This only confirmed her belief in his feelings for An Jin, and she tried even harder.

Fortunately, although An Jin looked refined, he had grown up doing farm work in the countryside and had some strength. After a brief moment of stunned silence, he quickly counterattacked and subtly gained the upper hand.

The sounds of the two women tearing at each other quickly attracted the attention of the surrounding villagers, and even drew the attention of Wuyou, who was in the small clinic. She was quite surprised to see this scene as soon as she stepped out.

Worry about An Jin took over, and Wu You quickly tugged at the stunned Zhou Jiajun, "Quickly pull your wife away!"

Sun Xiaoying seemed possessed, talking nonsense, clearly trapped in a demonic state.

Following the trajectory of her previous life, Sun Xiaoying successfully orchestrated Yan Wuyou's marriage to An Jin. An Jin was so overwhelmed by life that she couldn't even take care of herself, and Zhou Jiajun had absolutely no contact with An Jin.

The shadows of her past life gradually faded, and Sun Xiaoying, who had always looked down on the two from a high vantage point, naturally felt no sense of crisis. However, in this life, the appearance of Wuyou brought about a dramatic change in An Jin's life. She was freed from the enslavement of her uncles and aunts in the An family and enjoyed a glamorous life. By fate, she also had several encounters with Zhou Jiajun.

Occasionally, Sun Xiaoying would hear kind words about An Jin from him, and the more she heard these, the deeper her sense of crisis grew. She had watched these two love each other for half their lives. Although he was now Zhou Jiajun, her lawfully wedded wife, deep down she still felt like a thief, having stolen An Jin's husband, and a sense of unease arose within her.

Fortunately, although Sun Xiaoying had gone mad, her strength was still there, and Zhou Jiajun managed to pull them apart. The two women looked disheveled, their hair a mess, their faces bearing red marks, and their clothes torn and twisted.

"Xiao Jin, are you alright?" Wu You looked her up and down and found that apart from being a little disheveled, she was fine. She breathed a sigh of relief. An Jin's face still showed signs of panic, and her little face was pale, making her look very pitiful.

"Sun Xiaoying, what's wrong with you? What did I do to offend you?" An Jin's eyes were filled with tears, and he felt extremely wronged. He was sure he had respected Sun Xiaoying and had never offended her, so why did she suddenly attack him like a madwoman? Even his aunt, who was usually unkind to him, hadn't done this!

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Xiaoying may not have been resting well lately, so she's been a bit mentally unstable. I'm bringing her to apologize to you." Although Zhou Jiajun was angry about Sun Xiaoying's behavior, they were a couple and a unit, so apologizing was the first priority.

He bowed and scraped, repeatedly apologizing, his attitude incredibly humble.

"Why should you apologize to him? Get up!" Unfortunately, she had a terrible teammate. Sun Xiaoying screamed as she pulled Zhou Jiajun up, her face full of resentment.

“An Jin, you seduced my man, and you even dare to ask me why I hit you? A woman as promiscuous as you deserves to have her face torn to shreds.” Sun Xiaoying straightened her chest, speaking with righteous indignation.

An Jin was almost laughing in anger. He sneered and said, "Sun Xiaoying, what makes you think I'm seducing someone? What evidence do you have? You're clearly talking nonsense and ruining my reputation. If you can't produce any evidence, I'm not done with you."

The villagers watched the commotion from the sidelines, whispering amongst themselves as they heard the conversation. They couldn't tell who was right and who was wrong; both men appeared so self-righteous that it was truly difficult to discern their true intentions.

But they also felt that An Jin wouldn't do such a thing. They had watched An Jin grow up, and she didn't seem like the kind of person who would do such a thing. Besides, Yan Zhiqing had cigarettes and money, and he treated An Jin well. She would be crazy to seduce other men, right?

"Sun Xiaoying, what are you doing, making a scene? An Jin and I are completely innocent. What nonsense are you spouting? Shut up and apologize right now!" Zhou Jiajun was quite provoked. His dark face turned bright red, and his eyes were wide open, showing his anger.

"Shut up! Zhou Jiajun, I've served you and your mother with all my heart for the past two years, and you've been flirting with this woman. How could you do this to me?"

Under immense mental pressure, Sun Xiaoying became increasingly manic, her eyes red and tears streaming down her face, looking like a neglected wife, making people unable to help but trust her words.

"Fine, you say I'm having an affair with your man. When did you see it? Can you produce any evidence? Are there any other witnesses?" An Jin gritted her teeth in anger and sneered as she rebuked him.

"More than a year ago, during the autumn harvest, you two, a man and a woman, were alone in the fields, holding hands, your shadows almost merging together. I saw it with my own eyes, do you dare to deny it?"

Upon hearing this, the person involved froze on the spot, racking their brains to recall what had happened. Seeing their expressions, Sun Xiaoying sneered, "See? Speechless now!"

"What nonsense are you talking about? I twisted my ankle, and Brother Zhou helped me up. He just helped me and took me home." An Jin was inexplicably amused and exasperated. What was this woman's brain made of? Her imagination was truly boundless.

“Yes, I remember that An Jin did sprain his ankle that day, and he still went to the mountain to pick wild vegetables every day with his sprained ankle. Poor thing!” As soon as these words were spoken, the other villagers also remembered and hurriedly chimed in, and their eyes changed when they looked at Sun Xiaoying.

Most of the women in the village are outspoken and say what they think, so it's not uncommon for them to get into fights with men. But being outspoken doesn't mean being unreasonable. What was clearly a normal helping relationship has been twisted into an abnormal one between a man and a woman. Who can stand that?

Sun Xiaoying used to seem like a good person; she was pretty and hardworking. How come she changed so much after getting married?

Stared at by an intense gaze, Sun Xiaoying felt her face burning. She gritted her teeth and said, "So what's going on today? You weren't home early this morning, and it's almost dark now. I just saw you two standing together, chatting and laughing. Doesn't that mean you're having an affair?"
