Chapter 113 Interstellar Glory (Fifteen)

Alone and vulnerable under the gaze of so many people, she seemed to be begging for something. As Shen Wangshu entered the room, she heard Jasmine pleading, her voice choked with sobs, "Sister Aifei, please forgive me. I was just too worried, that's why I did something wrong."

As she spoke, she knelt down at Effie's feet, hugged her legs, and cried, "I really didn't have any selfish motives; it was all for the Federation!"

"You talk a good game, but you're a complete ingrate!" Lori, with her fiery temper, stepped forward and shouted, "The Field family raised you, and yet you want to kill them!"

"Don't forget, without Field, you'd still be in the slums right now!"

Though simple-minded, she knew about Molly's deadly accusations. If they were true, the Field family would be destroyed instantly, and Molly would become a hero for bravely revealing the truth. It was disgusting, chillingly disgusting.

"I didn't mean to."

“People who do wrong always like to say things like that to excuse themselves,” Kerry said calmly as he walked over.

Jasmine suddenly looked up and saw the boy she once deeply admired looking at her with such a cold expression.

She thought of Andy, who had become very cold and distant towards her recently due to the turmoil, and even changed his demeanor. Then she looked at Kerry, who was still handsome, proud, clear and innocent, and couldn't help but cry and hug him.

She now realizes just how rare the boy she once loved was.

He would never use sweet words when he was of use, but would stand idly by and try to distance himself when he became dangerous.

"Senior..."

"What are you doing?!" While Lori was generally ruthless towards rivals, she was merciless in dealing with them. Seeing Jasmine trying to touch her future husband, she flew into a rage.

Girls in the mecha department never slap their love rivals because slapping is too tasteless; they only like to break their love rivals' bones.

Seeing the black-haired girl get up with tears in her eyes and about to throw herself at Kerry, Lori stepped forward and punched her in the soft abdomen.

With one punch, Jasmine curled up in pain, unable to utter a word.

Kerry silently withdrew his foot, which he was about to lift, and turned his head to express his indifference with a cool demeanor.

Shen Wangshu tilted her head and looked at Jasmine, who was almost lifeless from the punch. After thinking for a moment, she slowly walked to Aifei's side and snuggled into her arms. When Aifei saw her sister, her expression changed slightly, and she said softly, "If you're feeling sad, don't look."

She paused, then reluctantly said, "Going out for a walk with Carl, or even a date, is fine." To avoid putting Shen Wangshu in a difficult position or making Jasmine sad, she even agreed to the date with Effie.

“Alice.” Jasmine struggled to lift her face, which was covered in cold sweat and tears, and looked pitifully at the only angel.

She was in such a miserable state, she would feel sorry for her.

The girl's face showed emotion, but just as hope appeared in Jasmine's eyes, the blonde girl buried herself in Effie's arms again and whispered, "Jasmine, you look so pitiful, but I can't forgive you."

She seemed unwilling to even look at the girl she had once lived with, and whispered, "My sister is the most important person to me. I can forgive you for hurting me. But you hurt my sister..." She tightened her arms around Effie's waist and murmured, "I will never forgive you in my life, and I never want to see you again."

Her voice became resolute, causing Jasmine to burst into tears.

In Jasmine's eyes, Alice was her lifeline.

But after she made it clear that she would never forgive her again, Jasmine felt a chill in her heart.

She looked at the blonde girl with the most pitiful and helpless expression, hoping to gain her pity, but Lori could no longer bear it.

.

Of all the people she had ever met, she had never seen a woman as cunning and scheming as Jasmine.

She picked Jasmine up with one hand, strode over to the front door of the Fields house, threw her outside, and then had the heavy alloy door closed.

Jasmine was stopped outside the heavy gate, trembling with despair.

She dared not linger in front of the Fields' house, fearing that the reporters would come to conduct even more pointed interviews with her. Because at this point, the public's investigation into her had entered its second phase.

All those past events were revealed one by one, with stark contrasts. Every word spoken by the once gentle and kind-hearted black-haired girl was playing out in a whirlwind. Her innocent declaration that she and Alice were friends was blatantly obvious, yet the hostility and twisted expression she revealed towards the blonde girl in the shadows was starkly clear on screen.

In previous interviews, she clearly said she was a frugal girl, and she didn't refute it, but some people saw her spending lavishly in jewelry stores, buying expensive jewelry.

She claimed to fight alongside her former comrades, but later begged to enter the Federal Parliament, completely abandoning them.

She spoke of gratitude to Field, but used fabricated charges to trap him in a desperate situation, thereby exposing the military's hidden forces in outer space.

To the Federation, she was a sinner.

To the public, she is a despicable person who uses a hypocritical facade to deceive them.

She never uttered a word of truth. Her tearful confessions on camera about her cowardice seemed like an attempt to shirk responsibility. She was ruthless in her pursuit of fame, even deceiving the innocent Alice by posing as her friend. What despicable behavior could possibly lead someone to do such a thing?
