Seeing that the Six Paths Immortal Lord seemed to have accepted his fate and dejectedly got up to take good care of the little green snake, it curiously looked around.
The peace and tranquility of this place is truly astonishing to him.
The perilous experience within the spatial rift seemed still fresh in its mind, yet in the blink of an eye, all was calm, giving them time to catch their breath. This was an extremely rare occurrence, and it puzzled it. However, as its gaze swept across its surroundings, its phoenix eyes widened suddenly, revealing a stunned expression.
In the distance, a tiny, fiery red phoenix was peering over with a sly look.
This phoenix was plump, about the size of a sparrow, but much fatter. It floated up and down in the boundless void, its beady eyes full of cunning.
It glanced at the immortals who had just come to their senses, shook its little wings with difficulty, nodded with a grin, transformed into a ray of light, and headed towards the distant space.
There were countless illusory images of pavilions and towers, but even more breathtaking than those magnificent images was a bright passage of light that rose from this place, winding its way to some unknown point in the void. It seemed to be a pathway of light, distorting the surrounding space, and an incomparably terrifying pressure descended from the heavens.
It was heavy, suppressing everyone's breath.
Only the little phoenix seemed unaffected by the oppressive aura, flying freely.
"I smell the ghost carriage." It flaunted itself by flying over the distant palace, seemingly showing off that it was the master of the palace. It then pecked at a few unknown spiritual herbs before slyly flying down to the people.
The little, chubby phoenix winked and snorted, its little nose snorting fiercely as it asked, "Who possesses the bloodline of Guiche? If I hadn't smelled Guiche's blood just now, I wouldn't have been willing to save you!" It said, sticking out its chubby little belly, "I can be your savior phoenix."
"Thank you, Immortal." This phoenix's cultivation was unfathomable. Although it was fat and bloated, in this day and age, powerful people usually had unusual appearances.
Wang Shu Shaojun cupped his hands and bowed deeply.
There are countless spirit beasts in the Three Realms, so she certainly wouldn't dare to act rashly.
Take Xuanxi Tianjun, for example. Although he is famous in the Three Realms, he is just a true powerhouse who doesn't like to show his face.
The phoenix exuded a terrifying aura, not to mention that it could move so freely through the terrifying spatial storm and easily rescue people. How powerful must it be?
As Wang Shu Shaojun thought that even the Northern Demon Realm no longer had phoenixes, he raised his hand and watched as the phoenix landed unceremoniously in his hand, and suddenly his hand felt heavy.
Too...fat.
"You're not very strong, huh? Fine, I'll fly myself." The phoenix took off on its own without changing its expression.
It doesn't think of itself as fat at all.
"So it really is the bloodline of the Ghost Cart. Considering my past connection with the Ghost Cart, this time it's free." The crimson phoenix slapped the sparrow on the head with its wing. Clearly, the sparrow was unhappy that its Shushu had touched another bird and was glaring at it fiercely.
It simply stretched its short wings and whispered, "However, it is fate that you are here." It was a generous phoenix. It flew to the pavilions and towers in the distance, picked and chose for a while, and then brought back a few magical treasures. It hopped and skipped and stuffed them into the hands of the junior immortals who were looking at it in surprise.
"You guys are really poor," it said with a sigh.
Wang Shu Shaojun's lips twitched as he touched his only magic weapon... his spirit sword.
"I don't want this." The little green snake wasn't interested in this; it stared intently at the ethereal herb in the distance.
"Those are all mine!" Seeing that it dared to covet the immortal herb, the phoenix immediately exploded, its sparrow-sized feathers bristling as if its nest had been ransacked.
So... what exactly is going on with this phoenix?
Wang Shu Shaojun was utterly bewildered by the phoenix, who had failed in her attempt to feign eldership and was now arguing with a drooling little snake. Puzzled, she couldn't help but look towards the path of light in the distance. That path led to an unknown place, and from it emanated an even more powerful aura. Within the passage lingered a terrifying, domineering, and sharp sword energy, seemingly capable of tearing one's soul apart with a mere touch. She was filled with dread, wondering when such a powerful being had appeared in the Three Realms.
There are such forces.
"Who is this senior?"
"I am the number one phoenix in the Three Realms." The sparrow-sized phoenix proudly puffed out its fat belly.
Wang Shu Shaojun felt that the title of "Number One in the Three Realms" was really worthless these days.
"hehe……"
"I truly am the number one phoenix in the Three Realms. You dare to laugh at me? You'll regret it later!" The phoenix threatened Wang Shu Shaojun with its wicked, beady eyes.
It paused, gracefully soaring through the air for a moment before looking at the younger generation before saying calmly, "This is a path opened up for me by my master, allowing me to return here from the upper realm."
Seeing that Wang Shu Shaojun's eyes narrowed slightly, as if he had just learned that there was an Upper Realm above the Three Realms, it knew that this was a country bumpkin who knew nothing about the secrets of the Three Realms. Looking at the calm and collected bird and the Six Paths Immortal Lord, it had a better understanding of the situation. It strutted around in the air with its head held high and said, "I say you are destined to meet. Since we have met, you are meant to be a part of it. Are you willing to enter the Upper Realm?"
