Chapter 67 Unwavering Love (Part 11)

She agreed even faster than Ning's father, her eyes crinkling into slits with laughter. Holding Ah Xuan's hand, she chattered on and on about her gratitude over the past few days. Seeing Ah Xuan listening politely without the slightest impatience, his understanding was so heartwarming. It's said that a mother-in-law likes her son-in-law no matter what she sees, and Ning's mother felt more and more delighted the more she looked at Ah Xuan.

The courtyard suddenly became lively.

"His voice isn't good, don't let him talk too much." Seeing Ah Xuan occasionally responding hoarsely to what Ning's parents were saying, Shen Wangshu said with a smile, even though she knew zombies were cunning.

"Yes, yes, yes." Ning's mother nodded repeatedly.

"He really remembered everything?" This is too fast, as if he suddenly had a breakthrough. Nan Lan felt something was off, so she leaned on Shen Wangshu's shoulder and asked curiously, "He really looks like a respectable person."

She casually draped her strong arm over Shen Wangshu's delicate shoulder. Ah Xuan merely glanced at him with a smile, appearing quite obedient in front of Ning's parents. However, he refused to call Nan Lan and Ah Guang by their names. Seeing Ning's parents happily leading him into the house, and noticing the two elderly people ahead, he suddenly turned his head.

With his fiercest expression, he bared his teeth and made a threatening gesture towards Nan Lan.

Its ferocity was exactly like that of a zombie.

Nan Lan removed her arm from Shen Wangshu's shoulder and looked thoughtfully at A Xuan, who was sneering at her.

"I don't think it's a pleasant thing that zombies have brains." Especially this one in front of her, who pretends to be obedient and filial in front of his elders, but dares to be even more vicious to Nan Lan. There's no such outrageous two-faced behavior, is there? Nan Lan felt extremely annoyed. Seeing the smile on Shen Wangshu's face, she hesitated for a moment and then said, "Don't spoil him too much."

If we keep spoiling and protecting them, these zombies will practically fly to the heavens!

Nan Lan snorted inwardly, quickly stepped forward to Ning's mother's side, and tugged at her sleeve.

"What's wrong with Lanlan?" Ning's mother asked cheerfully.

"It's nothing." Nan Lan was about to ask Ning's mother to go see the two-faced zombie, but suddenly felt that complaining was pointless, so she lowered her eyes and said.

"Ah Xuan's teeth are so white." Ah Guang hurriedly pulled Ning's mother to see how Ah Xuan was baring his teeth at him as if he wanted to eat him.

"Good teeth mean a good appetite." Shen Wangshu walked over and blocked Ning's mother's gaze. He hid the expression on the zombie's stiff face that he couldn't immediately shake off due to the overwhelming threat, and looked at A Guang meaningfully.

The Lightbringer, facing the greatest threat of his life, silently shut his mouth, tears welling in his eyes, and hid behind Nan Lan. He also grabbed Nan Lan's clothes with his fair hands as if seeking protection.

"Don't go too far," Nan Lan naturally stepped forward to protect her underling.

Shen Wangshu smiled and glanced at A Guang, then looked at Nan Lan with amusement.

Nan Lan got goosebumps, almost noticing Shen Wangshu's ill intentions. She instinctively felt something was off, but couldn't quite put her finger on it. She glanced down at A-Guang, only to see the handsome young man looking up at her, his eyes seemingly filled with falling starlight. She frowned, stroked A-Guang's soft hair, and looked back at A-Xuan, who had a faint smile on his lips. Suddenly, she shivered and quickly went inside.

The man with the stiff face insisted on smiling, and that smile was truly awful.

However, Ah Xuan regaining his memory and sanity was indeed a great event worth celebrating for the Ning family. That night, after Ah Tu returned home, he began his great kitchen career.

Shen Wangshu contributed a lot of ingredients stored in his space, and A-Tu was overjoyed. Without asking where the ingredients came from, he prepared a very sumptuous meal. He was clearly not a very curious person, and he didn't ask about the origin of these ingredients that Shen Wangshu gave him, which were not commonly found in the base. Even A-Guang was just focused on staring at the dinner table, drooling.

Shen Wangshu and Nan Lan exchanged a helpless glance.

She took out these ingredients because she had discussed them with Nan Lan.

During this time, A-Tu and A-Guang have been very reliable people and have already clearly understood the situation. Since that's the case, it's pointless to keep it a secret from one of the spaces.

However, Nan Lan thought it was too abrupt to tell the two that she had a space, so she suggested taking a roundabout approach and having A Tu ask the questions.

Shen Wangshu thought Nan Lan was overthinking things, but she didn't care. However, she didn't expect that A Tu really had no curiosity at all, except for eating.

And why didn't Ah Guang, who is very cunning, ask him anything?

She coughed and sat down at the dining table with her family, watching Ah Xuan sit upright beside her. She felt there was no need to hide her space anymore. For a strong person, the only use of space was to store more things. She opened her mouth, about to talk to Ah Tu, whose eyes were fixed on a plate of steamed fish, about her space, when the doorbell rang outside the courtyard. Ah Guang hurriedly went to open the door and saw Song Lei walking in smartly in a jet-black combat suit.

Shen Wangshu casually put sunglasses on Ah Xuan, who then expertly adjusted the temples of the glasses.

"Uncle and Aunt, I've come over for a free meal." Song Lei found Ah Xuan particularly strange.

This man even wears sunglasses while eating at home?

Isn't that crazy?

He inwardly grumbled, yet felt as if a pair of eyes were staring at him menacingly through those sunglasses. However, he was somewhat guilty, because for a fleeting moment earlier he had tried to poach this man's girlfriend.

However, Song Lei was a man who could let go easily. Since he had been rejected by Shen Wangshu, he didn't pester her anymore. His handsome face showed no embarrassment. However, when Ning's father asked him to sit down, he sat in the seat furthest away from Shen Wangshu. Nan Lan was sitting next to him, so he nodded slightly to her and said, "I saw your battle earlier. You are a true heroine!"
