The fox continued to dangle in Shen Wangshu's hand.
It remained motionless, its round eyes wide open.
After a while, it realized that it had been caught by humans. It shrieked and waved its four short, chubby little paws vigorously in front of Shen Wangshu.
Shen Wangshu thought the fox was very cute.
She knew it when she grabbed the fox by the tail and lifted it up. It was just an ordinary little fox demon that had just been born. Although it was a demon, the spiritual energy in its body was very weak, and it looked rather dull.
Her cool gaze swept over the trail of blood on the fox's hind leg. After a moment's hesitation, she pressed down on the fox's fluffy little head and used a method that wouldn't harm it to search its soul. It hummed softly in comfort, rubbing its little head into Shen Wangshu's palm.

Shen Wangshu looked at its twitching ears and smiled helplessly.
She placed her other hand on the fox's hind leg.
The fox looked up at her warily.
But for some reason, its eyes were always a little dazed. It could have shown its little milk teeth and bit Shen Wangshu's fair hand that was so close to its mouth, but it didn't.
It twitched its ears as it watched the beautiful female cultivator with a serene smile place her hand on its hind leg. A flash of spiritual light emanated from her hand, startling the fox. But in the blink of an eye, the wound on its hind leg vanished in the light. It seemed utterly astonished, forgetting to clutch its large tail, and hurriedly struggled, waving its little paws at the fur on its hind leg. This time, its cries revealed its affection for Shen Wangshu, and it even tentatively licked Shen Wangshu's fingers in front of its eyes.

The fox twitched its ears, tilted its head back, and looked at her with its bright, darting eyes.
It seemed to know she was going to throw it somewhere else, and suddenly started squeaking and waving its furry paws, clinging tightly to Shen Wangshu's fingers.
It seemed to regard Shen Wangshu as a very important person. Shen Wangshu's heart softened, and she lowered her head and asked with a smile, "If you want to stay here with me, you will be very lonely."
The fox couldn't understand such complicated words, and remained motionless while clinging to Shen Wangshu's hand, seemingly clinging to her. Since it had come to her, Shen Wangshu decided to accept it with a smile. After all, she felt that having a fox to play with in her lonely cultivation life would be a unique pleasure. She smiled and took out a jade talisman, waving it in front of the fox.
