But Gao Sen still hesitated. Shen Wangshu knew perfectly well that Chu Xiangyun's words were just giving Gao Sen a way out.
He doesn't actually want his own son at all, does he?
"Yaoyao, we have a misunderstanding." Gao Sen said with difficulty as Shen Wangshu pointed at his face.
"Get out of here, and don't show your face in front of Xiaoxi again." Shen Wangshu put away the documents and said coldly.
"But what about that project?" Chu Xiangyun asked timidly.
Her beautiful face was full of worry for Gao Sen. Her gaze fell on Shen Wangshu's face, but she seemed afraid of her and quickly looked away.
Shen Wangshu immediately smiled, looking at this woman who was so devoted to Gao Sen with amusement, and raised an eyebrow, saying, "Of course the cooperation will continue. After all, Mr. Gao is making money for my Xiaoxi, isn't he?"
Now that Gao Xi owns shares in the Gao Group, if the group makes money, then of course Gao Xi makes money, and the annual dividends will be enough for his children to live a comfortable life. In Shen Wangshu's eyes, Gao Sen is now like a money-printing machine. He lowered his eyes, but when he thought of how gently Chu Xiangyun had taken care of him before, and how she had even cried for him, his heart softened.
After all, he couldn't force Chu Xiangyun to like his son.
That was his bloodline with his ex-wife, which, in the eyes of Chu Xiangyun who loved him deeply, was undoubtedly a heart-wrenching tragedy.
"Now that the important matter is settled, Mr. Gao, you may return home." Shen Wangshu was eager to see her adorable little nephew to put his mind at ease, and then gave Gao Sen a sympathetic look.

Gao Sen suddenly smiled and nodded, saying, "No matter what, Yao Yao, you'll have to put in the effort."
He looked somewhat dejected, but still waved his hand.
Sheng Lun sat to the side, his face filled with shock. He realized that in such a short time, he had witnessed something disgusting.
He had long known that his family would stop at nothing to gain certain benefits, but he never imagined that his family would force Gao Sen to give up his son.
How is this any different from robbery?!
He jumped up immediately, pointing at Shen Wangshu and Lei Xuan and shouting, "How could you do such a shameless thing?!"
"Go somewhere cool and stay there!" Shen Wangshu had no patience for her older brother and sneered, "I'd rather raise a piece of barbecued pork than you!"
The gentle and beautiful second young lady of the Sheng family suddenly started swearing, which immediately made the lawyers in the villa stare in disbelief.
"What did you say?!"
"You know what you're saying, you bastard!" Shen Wangshu spat, then laughed when she saw Sheng Lun trembling with anger.
Both the Sheng siblings were good-looking, and Sheng Lun and Sheng Yao shared some resemblance. She couldn't help but scrutinize Sheng Lun's fair skin, raising an eyebrow as she said, "Since you like the surname Gao so much, why don't you marry him? He just wants to marry someone who looks like Jiajia anyway. What does gender matter in the face of love? If you marry Gao Sen, you'll have a nanny to serve you." She thought of all the crazy things Sheng Lun had done for Chu Xiangyun in her previous life, and found it all unbelievable.
He almost sold the Sheng family to get a smile from Chu Xiangyun.
Even if this woman doesn't love him, he'll still be happy to be with her.
Even if she betrays him, hurts him, and destroys his family, he will not hesitate.
Regarding this feeling, Shen Wangshu could only offer one unbiased assessment.

"Alright!" Mr. Sheng stood up sternly. After his lawyer nodded to him, indicating that there were no loopholes in the documents, he looked at the chaotic state of the villa.
He glanced at Shen Wangshu, then at his son Sheng Lun, and finally his gaze settled on Gao Sen. He felt a chill run through him, but his face remained impassive as he said, "Remember this: since custody has been given to Yao Yao, Xiao Xi will have little to do with you anymore. You're still young; you'll have other sons in the future." He seemed extremely calm and offered no further reproach, which relieved Gao Sen.
He nodded gratefully to Sheng's father, hesitated for a moment, and then helped Chu Xiangyun leave.
Sheng's father watched coldly as he helped a woman who had encouraged him to sell Gao Xi away.
"Old Sheng!" His mother was immediately displeased that he had let Gao Sen go so easily.
"What else can we do? Can you kill him? Let's take it slow." There are plenty of ways to kill without shedding blood. A dark look flashed across Sheng's father's face as he stared coldly at his son.
