Shen Wangshu only saw Gao Sen and Chu Xiangyun once more, ten years later. They lived together again. Gao Sen was ugly as a demon, but Chu Xiangyun could not leave him because she was Gao Sen's last lifeline. Her expression was both proud and passionate, and her eyes shone brighter than the starry sky.
Shen Wangshu raised an eyebrow and looked at her calmly.
"Why doesn't Alice deserve it!" Just as Shen Wangshu was silent, a girl beside her timidly retorted, saying softly, "Alice is General Effie's younger sister. Even if she is truly worthless, she still deserves to marry Senior. Senior, you, you're just jealous."
"I'm just jealous, so what?" the red-haired girl raised her chin and asked aggressively.
Shen Wangshu felt a pair of small hands grabbing the hem of her clothes.
She looked meaningfully at the black-haired girl who was hiding behind her and "speaking up for her".
She seemed terrified, and whispered, "Even if you're jealous, senior will only get engaged to Alice. Otherwise, you can compare."
The red-haired girl opposite seemed even angrier.
"Fine, let's compete!" she said angrily.
Shen Wangshu withdrew his gaze, looked gently at the radiant young girl in front of him, and smiled.
"It takes a lot of courage to be honest about your feelings." Her clear voice echoed. "But what are we competing in? Senior is a top student in the mecha department, while I'm studying command. Our focuses are different, so someone will be at a disadvantage in any competition. But since we can stand on this warship, it means we are both recognized.
