There was a flash of self-blame in his eyes. He then walked straight over, regardless of the ministers present, and hugged Xie Shizhu around the waist in his arms. He glanced coldly at the woman sitting on the ground out of the corner of his eye.
He said, "Fuyun, summon the imperial physician to Chengming Palace."

Xie Shizhu pressed the wound, as if this was the only way to stop the bleeding.
Before leaving, Yan Chou glanced at the Empress Dowager's face. His eyes were cold and contained a murderous intent, a look the Empress Dowager had never seen before.
The Empress Dowager swallowed subconsciously and looked panicked.
Xie Shizhu struggled in Yan Chou's arms, but he held her waist even tighter.
She glanced at Lin Xuan who was still on the ground, and a smile flashed across her eyes.
Are you stupid? My toad blood is on my left arm.
When Xie Shizhu was crowned as the queen, Yan Chou carved the toad's blood seal on her left arm in order to avoid being discovered. This was also the reason why Xie Shizhu was not discovered to be a virgin for two years.

The ministers who had just thought that the queen was out of favor looked at each other in bewilderment.
The Empress Dowager stared coldly at Lin Xuan who had gotten up from the ground. Her eyes no longer contained the usual appreciation and trust.
Lin Xuan felt the empress dowager's gaze and her heart started pounding. She couldn't believe it. The plot clearly showed that Yan Chou had never touched Xie Shizhu, so how come there was no toad blood on her arm?
The Empress Dowager threw the teacup in her hand to the ground and angrily scolded, "As my personal maid, you are so careless that you actually hurt the Empress. Drag her away and give her thirty lashes."
Lin Xuan was startled, and she knelt on the ground, begging for mercy: "Empress Dowager, I didn't mean it..."
As she pleaded miserably for mercy, she was dragged away by the eunuchs.
The Empress Dowager held her forehead, sighed, and said to the people standing in the pavilion, "I'm sorry to have made a fool of myself. I will definitely teach the maids of Ning'an Palace a lesson."
The Queen Mother complained to herself that she was crazy to believe a palace maid and make such a joke.

Inside Chengming Palace, the imperial physician carefully applied medicine to Xie Shizhu's arm. The emperor's gaze behind him made him dare not say anything, so he could only apply the medicine and leave in a hurry.
There were only two of them left in the entire Chengming Palace.
Just as Yan Chou was about to approach Xie Shizhu, he saw her eyes filled with hatred. He paused, and the regret in his heart was about to burst out.
Fu Yun came in from outside, approached Yan Chou, and whispered, "Your Majesty, there is an important discovery."
Yan Chou glanced at Xie Shizhu and walked straight out of Chengming Palace.
Fuyun said: "People outside the palace said that someone saw the Queen's mother a year ago."
