Jiang Yubai chuckled: "It's okay."
The two stayed together for another half an hour, with only the sounds of their breathing mixing in the cave.
Xie Shizhu wanted to pee, but she had been holding it in. Her face was flushed, and her legs were tightly clamped together, making her feel extremely uncomfortable.
Jiang Yubai noticed her strangeness and said after a long silence, "Let's go out first."
Xie Shizhu nodded impatiently. Between zombies and holding her urine, she still felt that the latter was more torturous.
She quickly crawled out and saw a forest outside. Xie Shizhu didn't care about anything else and squatted in the grass to solve her physiological problem first.
A minute later, Xie Shizhu felt relaxed all over. Before she stood up, she heard a rustling sound, as if someone was stepping on the grass approaching her.
Xie Shizhu thought it was Jiang Yubai, so he hurriedly said: "Xiao Jiang, don't come over, I'm peeing..."
Before she could finish her words, the footsteps stopped and a shadow fell over her.
Xie Shizhu raised his head and saw a low-level zombie.
She was stunned and stared at the zombie. Her reflex was extremely long and it took her half a minute to react.
"Ahhhh! Zombies!"
Jiang Yubai had just crawled out of the cave when he heard a woman scream. Before he could run over, a gunshot rang out, and then the woman angrily yelled, "Damn it! How dare you peek at me while I'm in the bathroom!"
Xie Shizhu took out the gun given by Xu Hanshuang from his waist and angrily fired several shots at the zombie's head.
After the zombie's head was smashed into pieces by her, she was still not satisfied and kicked the head on the ground with her foot.
Jiang Yubai stood up and brushed off the dust on his clothes. Looking at Xie Shizhu's dark and angry face, he pursed his lips and smiled.
After one zombie died, the smell spread to other zombies halfway up the mountain. Before Xie Shizhu had time to relax, he saw nearly twenty zombies gathering around them.
Xie Shizhu was stunned, and ran quickly to Jiang Yubai with a gun in hand. She stood in front of the young man, and her thin figure shielded him behind her, just like when they were at the base, Jiang Yubai also blocked everything without hesitation in order to prevent Zhou Yan from taking her away.
Jiang Yubai lowered his head and stared at Xie Shizhu's white neck, his eyes fluctuating.
Xie Shizhu said in a trembling voice: "Xiao Jiang, hide behind me, I'm here, don't be afraid."
Jiang Yubai nodded: "Okay."
Xie Shizhu shot each zombie one by one, but when the bullets ran out, the zombies had not all disappeared, and only seven or eight were left.
Seeing their companions dead, the zombies howled in anger.
Especially when they found that the gun in the woman's hand could not fire bullets, they became bolder and rushed towards the two people.
Xie Shizhu gave the gun to Jiang Yubai, rolled up his sleeves, and planned to fight the zombies to the end.
Jiang Yubai lowered his eyes and looked at the gun in his hand, his thin lips slightly raised, and then he skillfully turned the gun around his fingertips.
Xie Shizhu couldn't see these.
When the zombie pounced on her, she suddenly grabbed the zombie's head and squeezed it, but did not crush it.
Xie Shizhu was stunned. Where was her special ability?
The zombie howled and opened its mouth wide to bite Xie Shizhu's hand. Before it touched Xie Shizhu's fingertips, there was a bang and a bullet shot into its head. The zombie opened its blue-gray eyes wide, as if it couldn't believe that there was still a bullet in the gun.
The zombie fell to the ground and died.
Jiang Yubai grabbed Xie Shizhu's wrist and brought her behind him. His previously timid pupils were now endlessly dark. He looked at the zombies as if he was looking down on a group of ants.
Then, Jiang Yubai glanced down at the zombies condescendingly.
Xie Shizhu stared at Jiang Yubai's back in astonishment.
The boy pulled the trigger calmly, accurately and coolly, and took care of all the zombies in front of him in a few seconds.
"Xiao Jiang, you..."
Hearing the woman's surprised tone, Jiang Yubai's fingertips gripping the pistol tightened. Just as he was about to explain to Xie Shizhu, he heard the woman's admiring voice: "You're so cool!"
"It turns out there are still bullets. I thought there were none." Xie Shizhu didn't care about anything else at all. He only cared about Jiang Yubai completely eliminating these zombies.
Jiang Yubai had a lot of things to say, so he didn't need to say them anymore. He pursed his lips and smiled: "Seeing my sister in danger, I didn't think much about it..."
Xie Shizhu excitedly hugged Jiang Yubai's waist and kissed him on the cheek suddenly, with a crisp sound.
"Xiao Jiang, you've grown up." The woman smiled slightly with her eyebrows curved, and slowly loosened her hands.
Jiang Yubai's back stiffened, and there was still some wetness from the woman's lips on his right cheek.

Zhou Yan and Xu Hanshuang got rid of the zombies and hurried back in the direction Xie Shizhu left. When they saw the mountain not far away, they knew that these people must be on the mountain.
They climbed up the mountain without hesitation and met Lu Chuan who was coming down the mountain halfway up the mountain.
Xu Hanshuang asked nervously, "Why are you alone? Where are they?"
Lu Chuan's face looked a little bad, "I don't know."
"I don't know?" Zhou Yan asked back.
Just as they were about to go up the mountain to find them, Xie Shizhu and Jiang Yubai slowly appeared in their sight.
Xie Shizhu had a smile on his face, holding the boy's hand tightly with his right hand, and leaning on Jiang Yubai's shoulder. They were as close as conjoined twins.
Zhou Yan pursed his lips. It had only been a few hours since they last met, so how could these two suddenly become so close?
When Xie Shizhu approached them, Zhou Yan frowned, looked them up and down, and said in a bad tone, "Since you are both alive, let's go back to the supermarket."
After saying this, Zhou Yan was the first to go down the mountain.
Xie Shizhu approached Xu Hanshuang and muttered softly, "What's wrong with him?"
Xu Hanshuang lowered her head and glanced at their holding hands. "The duck that was about to be caught ran away with someone else."
