The door slammed loudly, bounced three more times, and flew completely open.
Xie Shizhu was wrapped in a bath towel, with her hair blown half dry, making her plain face look even more childish.
The man looked up at her with eyes full of anger, as if he wanted to tear her into pieces.
Pei Si was a head taller than her, with a slender figure. His handsome face looked cold and gloomy under the warm orange light.
Xie Shizhu reflexively took a few steps back, his back pressed against the cold wall.
Pei Si closed the door and leaned against it, with a barely perceptible smile on his lips, which made Xie Shizhu's scalp tingle.
But his eyes were cold.
Pei Si's tone was nonchalant, with a hint of chill in the ending: "Xie Shizhu, did you do this on purpose?"
Xie Shizhu swallowed her saliva. How could she have known Pei Si was such an idiot? If that was the case, she wouldn't have locked the door.
"No...yes..." Xie Shizhu murmured softly.
However, Pei Si seemed to be angry and would not listen to a word she said. When Xie Shizhu was frightened, he carried her directly on his shoulders.
Xie Shizhu screamed and begged for mercy in a soft voice: "Pei Si, I know I was wrong. I was taking a shower just now and didn't hear the knock on the door."
Pei Si threw her onto the Simmons bed, and Xie Shizhu's thin body bounced a few times on the soft mattress.
Before she could react, Pei Si pressed on her, restraining her slender wrists with his big hands and pressing his long legs against her knees, making Xie Shizhu unable to move.

After saying those harsh words, Pei Si hugged Xie Shizhu and fell asleep.
