Behind Xie Shizhu stood Jiang Ying and several muscular subordinates. Two men held Xie Shizhu's shoulders, forcing her to kneel on the ground.
The sky was pitch black, with only the faint lights of cars illuminating the surroundings.
Jiang Ying looked at his son, especially when Jiang Yuhuai's face was full of gloom, he raised his eyebrows and smiled: "Come with me."
Jiang Yuhuai didn't respond to his words. His dark pupils stared at the imprisoned woman and said coldly, "Let her go."
Xie Shizhu's vision was blocked by her hair. She struggled twice, but was slapped by one of the men, and she stopped struggling.
Blood oozed from the corner of the woman's lips, but she showed no fear at all. She said to Jiang Yuhuai in a hoarse voice, "Boss, don't go with them."
Jiang Yuhuai felt a chill spreading from his back to his neck, and the pain in his heart had reached the point where he couldn't breathe.
"The private plane has arrived," Jiang Ying said as a booming voice rang out above their heads.
No wonder Jiang Ying chose to stop here, because this mountain island can accommodate a small helicopter.
"If you don't come back with me," Jiang Ying said with a mocking smile, pointing at Xie Shizhu's face, "then she will fall into the sea. This mountain is very high. If she really falls, do you think she can hold on until you save her?"
Jiang Yuhuai's limbs were stiff and his fingertips were cold. He heard the sound of waves below the mountain, one wave after another, like crying.
He said without hesitation: "Okay, I'll go back with you. Let her go now."
After hearing his words, Jiang Ying laughed out loud for the first time from the bottom of his heart, "She's sensible and knows how to care for her woman."
Xie Shizhu shook his head, and tears welled up in his eyes after Jiang Yuhuai agreed.
Jiang Yuhuai said, "Let her go."
Jiang Ying sighed, "I'll let you go once you get in the car."
"Don't play tricks anymore," Jiang Yuhuai stared at the blood at the corner of Xie Shizhu's mouth, his voice trembling, "If she gets hurt in any way, I'd rather jump off here than go with you."
Jiang Ying smiled and said, "Okay."
Jiang Yuhuai walked to Jiang Ying with heavy steps. The next second, the two men who were holding Xie Shizhu came to Jiang Yuhuai. They grabbed his arms and pushed him into the business car.
He didn't dare look into Xie Shizhu's eyes. Perhaps she hated him.
Even though she tried so hard not to let him go with the man who had abandoned her in cold blood, he resolutely got into the car.
Jiang Ying stood at the car body. Before getting in, he said to another of his men, "Bring her up as well."
"good."
Suddenly, Xie Shizhu was dragged into the trunk of the car by the man. Jiang Yuhuai was sitting in the back seat. Hearing the voice, he said in a calm voice: "What do you want to do?"
Jiang Ying bent down to get into the car, signaled his men to drive, and then said slowly: "Do you think I'm stupid? Taking her away means, of course, that I want you to do things for me obediently."
Jiang Yuhuai looked at the man sitting in the passenger seat who broke his promise, gritted his teeth, and opened his thin lips: "I said let her go."
If Jiang Ying took Xie Shizhu away with him, he couldn't believe what kind of pain Xie Shizhu would have to endure in the future.
Jiang Ying pretended not to hear and automatically ignored his words.
Xie Shizhu huddled in the corner of the trunk, trying to get as close to Jiang Yuhuai as possible, separated by a barrier. His voice was a little intermittent: "Boss, I'm so sleepy, I feel like I can't breathe."
"I'm here," Jiang Yuhuai looked at the black baffle, only able to identify Xie Shizhu's location by the sound, "Don't sleep, I'll find a way to get you to leave."
Xie Shizhu felt his head was a little heavy, and he didn't know why, and his ears seemed to be almost deaf.
Seeing that Xie Shizhu did not reply to him, Jiang Yuhuai stared at the back of Jiang Ying's head with cold eyes.
He wanted to break free and fight with Jiang Ying, but the two men controlled his arms and he couldn't move at all.
Jiang Yuhuai said: "What did you do to her?"
Jiang Ying, who had been silent the whole time, spoke up, indifferent to the matter: "Maybe Watanabe slapped me too hard. Don't worry, at most he'll be deaf, but he won't die."
Instantly, Jiang Yuhuai's eyes were filled with bloodshot, and he said in a trembling voice, "She loves singing, and you're ruining her future like this."
How desperate Xie Shizhu would be if he could no longer hear any sound.
Jiang Ying shrugged indifferently: "Oh, and then?"
Jiang Yuhuai closed his eyes in pain, his whole body seemed to be soaked in floating water and he couldn't breathe.
Two seconds later, he opened his eyelids and said to the woman who seemed to be dying in the trunk: "Xie Shizhu, don't sleep. I like you, I love you, can you hear me?"
After a long time, a woman's weak voice came from the trunk: "I can."
Jiang Ying, who was sitting in the passenger seat, smiled sarcastically and thought to himself, how touching.
It's a pity that he is not a good father. If he were, he might really help them and let them go.
Jiang Yuhuai breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, she could hear. As long as her ears were not affected, he could endure it. Even if he returned to Country J, he would work like a slave for Jiang Ying as long as Jiang Ying let Xie Shizhu go.
