As soon as Xu Ruan entered the courtyard, he saw the wounds on Qiao Zhen's face. No one knew better than him how much Qiao Zhen cared about her appearance. He immediately tore off a piece of cloth to help stop the bleeding. "Princess, your face... I will take you to see a doctor."
Qiao Zhen stopped Xu Ruankuang's movements. She walked up to Lu Yuanchuan, removed her hand from the wound, looked down at the bright red blood on her palm, and then looked at Lu Yuanchuan again. "Let's settle this today, Lu Yuanchuan. Between me and Lin Yuyun, who do you choose?"
Lu Yuanchuan turned his head away to avoid Qiao Zhen's gaze.
Tears streamed down Qiao Zhen's face and onto her wound. Today, she truly understood the pain of rubbing salt into a wound. "Fine, so be it. A short pain is worse than a long one.
