"I'm very well-behaved every day," Qiao Zhen said with a grin, then suddenly screamed, "Ah! My flesh!"
She pushed Qi Yijuan aside and ran into the kitchen. Fortunately, she arrived in time and the meat wasn't ruined.
Qi Yijuan watched her cheerful figure with amusement, then carefully recalled the appearance on her face. He gently rubbed his brow with his fingertips, and the fear in his heart was gradually growing.
He walked into the room where Qiao Zhen's old belongings were kept. The room was empty. The color drained from his face, and he frantically ransacked the room.

Qiao Zhen pushed the door open again and asked Qi Yijuan, feigning ignorance, "What are you looking for?"
Qi Yijuan looked at Qiao Zhen with red eyes, "Where are those things? Where did they go?!"
Qiao Zhen leaned down and hugged Qi Yijuan, her hand stroking his back gently, soothing him. "I threw them away. Those were all from before. Don't want them anymore, okay?"
Qi Yijuan held Qiao Zhen tightly, pulling her arms around her waist and trapping her in his embrace. He asked, "Will there be any new ones?"
Qiao Zhen stood on tiptoe and cupped his head in her hands. "Yes, out with the old, in with the new."
Qi Yijuan asked again, "Will you always be here?"
Qiao Zhen jokingly said, "Yes, we will. Since we don't have any new ones, you'll have to make do with the old ones!"
Qi Yijuan retorted earnestly and solemnly, "I will never be fickle; it's only you."
He rested his head on Qiao Zhen's shoulder, looking aggrieved, and asked, "Then will you get tired of the old and crave the new?"
Qiao Zhen chuckled, "No, in my heart, you're still brand new, always have been."
