Nightfall Boat waved goodbye.
Qiao Zhen was subjected to needle torture in front of him again. One fine needle after another pierced her flesh. She cried out in pain, but she still stubbornly insisted, "I did nothing wrong!" She shrank her small body, trying her best to minimize her presence.
Ye Shangzhou was amused by her words. He beckoned, and the guards brought Qiao Zhen before him. He lifted Qiao Zhen's chin, brought her close to her ear, and whispered as if to a lover, "Isn't it right?"
"I... I'm right." Qiao Zhen's words were all breathy, but very firm.
Ye Shangzhou looked at Qiao Zhen with interest. "Little kitten is really stubborn." He placed his large hand on Qiao Zhen's shoulder, where she had just been pricked with a needle, and pinched it hard without any tenderness.
Qiao Zhen was in so much pain that all the color drained from her face, and her lips turned deathly pale. She tilted her head back.
Ye Shangzhou looked at Qiao Zhen with amusement, enjoying the sight of her being tormented, and felt a sense of relief. "You're wrong. You're wrong for talking back to me."
"..." Okay, she was wrong.
Qiao Zhen: Waaaaah, why did I have to be so stubborn with this big, useless cat? Her bones hurt so much.
Ye Shangzhou didn't loosen his grip on Qiao Zhen's shoulders even slightly. He reached out and lifted Qiao Zhen onto the soft couch, saying, "Get out of here."
Only Ye Shangzhou and Qiao Zhen remained in the room.
Ye Shangzhou roughly tore open Qiao Zhen's underwear, revealing a cotton pad. He played with the pad, then looked at Qiao Zhen's buttocks, which were not red or swollen. "Have you learned your lesson?"
Qiao Zhen blushed, her face thick with embarrassment, and she covered her buttocks with her hand, "You're... you're scared of being hit."
Ye Shangzhou restrained Qiao Zhen's arms with one hand and slapped her buttocks without hesitation with the other, saying, "What are you blocking for? Since you made a mistake, you should be punished."
Qiao Zhen knelt on the soft couch and looked at Ye Shangzhou. "Let's try a different method, one that will make you feel more comfortable."
