After Qiao Zhen finished filming, she busied herself collecting evidence of previous transfers to her agent, and then went to the former orphanage to check the donation receipts, all of which were in Zhuo Qing's name.

"Headmistress, I used to have a jade pendant, but I lost it while playing. Did you find it? That jade pendant seems to be related to my biological parents. The director frowned. "We haven't been able to find it." Her brows relaxed. "However, all the children who come to the orphanage have their photos taken. Your jade pendant was hanging around your neck, so it should have been in the photo as well."
"Can I see some old photos?" Qiao Zhen asked expectantly.
The director led her into the archives. "Of course you can. You came to the orphanage when you were eight years old, which was in 2018. It should be easy to find you."
Qiao Zhen and the dean searched in the archives for about fifteen minutes. The dean handed Qiao Zhen's file over and said, "Look, this is a photo of you when you were a child. It's a bit yellowed."
"Thank you, Headmistress." Qiao Zhen took the file and looked at the photo of the original owner when she was eight years old. The jade pendant hanging around her neck was still clearly visible. "Headmistress, could you print out a copy of the photo for me?"
